Hey All, the spouse and I just welcomed home our newborn son and can’t yet venture out of the house much until he gets his basic vaccinations. Would anyone kindly recommend some nice dinner and dessert takeout options that I could pickup for a Valentine’s Day treat? Thanks in advance!
Good evening! I am about to move in Hilltop apartments. In the lease it says you can not have a visitor for longer then 14 days in a year. Do you think it would be okay if my boyfriend stayed over once a week or once every other week? That would be more than 14 days in a year but they won’t be consecutive days. I haven’t seen a clause like that before and just wanna see others experience is. Thanks
Any driving school or individuals that offer car rental services in Nashua for the DMV Road Test?
Nashua Area Wholesale Stores, Pros?
Hi! I’m home on bed rest for a few days, and looking to place a big BJs order online to pass the time and stock up for the winter left for my family.
Curious, does BJs ever offer free trials, memberships etc online? Any great sales not to miss, if I order things this week? Would they deliver?
Also- anyone have any tips for the Nashua area BJs? I tried Costco recently and was not only NOT a fan of the shopping experience, I also didn’t find the prices to wow me or things my kids would like. Anyone else feel the same, and find BJs to be a better fit? Sam’s club is an option but a bit further…
If this is the wrong sub for this, please forgive me.
My fiancé and I are looking to move to the East Coast from CA and have considered the Nashua area. We are both in our early 30’s.
She recently got a pretty good job offer in the area, so we are heavily considering it. However, neither of us have ever been there.
I’m originally from Connecticut and she’s originally from Kansas City, MO, so snow is nothing new for us. Main reasons for the move are being closer to family (most of mine is in CT and she has family in the Boston area as well as Toronto, Canada) as well as affordability.
I sort of wanted to get an idea of what there is to do there. How’s the nightlife and how are the grocery stores and stuff? I enjoy skiing and the beach, so I think those are covered as they seem to be drivable.
Ultimately we’re looking for a place to settle down and raise a family.
i'm relatively new to the area (moved here 3 years ago) and i've yet to really find my people, so to speak! i'm a transmasc guy, just lookin' to branch out and make friends, get out of the house more outside of university, but i've no clue where to start. drop some ideas/good spots! lgbtq+ friendly, preferably welcome to nerds.
My kid is desperately trying to find a job but basically everything here you have to be 16 and the only things that seem to hire are Market Basket or Shaws. Shaws only pays $10 and hr and well not the best environment to work and MB is basically overstaffed and my kids has applied to one 3 times but still was never reached out to.
Grateful for any suggestions!
I just felt my house shake. Dogs went nuts. Heads up!
Just moved north of Nashua. Searching for a good red wine that I can drink, as I suffer from some intolerances and histamines SEND ME.. ugh! I heard maybe wines not produced in the US could be safer for me. Someone suggested Wine Not in downtown Nashua. Anyone have feedback on this spot, worth going to etc? Would love to chat with someone very knowledgeable in wines who can point me in the direction of something I can drink and not have me feeling like shit the next day.
I turn on the local Boston 7pm news and the lead off story is a Molotov cocktail being thrown in Nashua? NBC10 Boston
Any recommendations for a local plumber who can add in a standing shower to my half bath? Thanks.
Is there any shops in the area that do a "get what you get" type tattoo? you know, like the tiktok trend where you pay $50 bucks or whatever and get a design from a gumball machine?
Are there any stores that sell postcards of Nashua or New Hampshire?
Hi guys. I am looking into getting in with NHOMS in Nashua for All on 4 treatment, hopefully.
Can anyone local give any insight into the place at all, your experiences, your stories in general. I'm here for it all!

I'm looking for reputable therapists in the Greater Nashua area. It's for my dad and sister who live in the area, both of which are opposed to the idea of therapy. We lost my mom a year ago but I am the only one receiving grief counselling at my university. In the past year, I have seen my family spiralling so I finally convinced them to try therapy for a few months. I don't know a lot about mental health services in the area since I only started therapy at my out-of-state university. I don't want them to see bad therapists and think therapy is useless so I am asking this question. A requirement for the therapy sessions is that they must be in person, they don't need to focus exactly on grief counseling. Ideally, they should but even general therapy is better than no therapy.
Looking for a personal trainer for my mom. She is older and partially disabled (fused ankle) and currently doesn’t exercise at all, so it would need to someone who is patiently willing to meet her where she’s at. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks
Hi! I'm transgender and new to the area, looking for a serving job in or around Nashua. With todays political climate, I'm wondering if there are LGBTQ friendly restaurants in the area that I could comfortably work at.
Thanks!
I live in Villa Condos on Spitbrook Rd. My condo/townhouse is about 45 years old. I haven't done any improvements. About 10 years ago, it was worth $120k. Now, the city says it is worth $330k and is charging me a small fortune in property taxes. Is this normal these days? Is it worth contesting? Could I really sell the unit for $330k?
How much does the condition of the interior affect the assessment? Thanks!
Hi! Just moved here from MA a few months ago and and am currently looking for a dentist for myself and one for my kids (doesn’t have to be the same). I would prefer an office that also does orthodontics if needed.
Can anyone recommend a place? Or let me know which ones to steer clear of?
I am looking to sublease an apartment or room from May 18 to August 16 for the duration of my summer internship near Nashua. Message me if you have availability!
Can anyone recommend a contractor to frame and hang a custom sized door in my home? I’m a new homeowner and I don’t have any experience acquiring services like this.
