Looking for Polish Liquor

Hi Everyone! I am looking for a place to purchase Polish liquors such as Krupnik and/or Soplica Malinowa flavors.

I have checked the NH liquor stores in Nashua and Total Wine in Burlington and they don't carry them.

Thanks for the leads!

Thin blue line flag in the veteran's day parade

Did this bother anyone? I know a lot of cops are vets but that flag feels a little too political for me.

Looking for holiday vibes

Hi

We recently moved from NYC to Nashua and looking for some holiday festive vibe recommendations.

This will be our first thanksgiving/Christmas celebration here.

And something we were used to back in NYC :

  1. Holiday celebrations
  2. Thanksgiving Macy's parade
  3. Mall vibes with Christmas celebration, Santa etc
  4. Local market in the NJ suburbs, small shops for festive treats such as cider donuts, hot chocolate šŸ˜Š
  5. Christmas tree farm for getting the tree.

Probably sounds cheesy but wanted to check if we can find any recommendations to do all of the above around Nashua, NH or Mass.

While I understand we might not find EVERYTHING we did back in NYC around here but any recommendations we can get to continue our holiday tradition would be greatly appreciated.

Apartment

Hello everyone! I am looking for a 1 bedroom apartment in the Nashua area. I work in Hudson, so I would like to be close. My budget is around $1900. I would really like a washer and dryer, and I would like an updated apartment if possible. Can anyone share any experiences?? Thanks!

Can we ban gas leaf blowers already?

I live next to an HOA and there are days I can't have my windows open or I'm driven mad. These things are so bad for the environment and the noise pollution is just horrendous. I promise you, the landscaping companies that use them will be fine with electric, they will adapt, they have in many suburbs in Massachusetts that have bans already. https://www.wgbh.org/news/local/2023-11-09/why-gas-powered-leaf-blowers-are-getting-banned-in-greater-boston

Hotels with room service

Hello I am flying to Nashua for surgery next month. I donā€™t have anyone to help, so my main concern is having easy access to food while in the hotel. Iā€™m having a hard time finding hotels that have room service. I thought that I would ask here. Any help appreciated.

Why are there so many barbershops????

Just moved to Nashua recently and to say I've been surprised by the amount of barbershops is an understatement. I feel like I'm living in a Twilight Zone world where every other storefront has been replaced by a barbershop and nobody but me notices.

Am I going crazy? I live downtown and there's like a dozen of them within a 5 minute walk. What's going on? Why is Nashua the Barber Mecca of New England????

Fall Foliage?

Hi there! I will be on work travel to Nashua this week and wanted to ask if anyone can recommend some nice places to see fall foliage in the area? Or in the areas between Nashua and Boston (which is where we're flying into)? I know there are some amazing places a few hours north in central NH, but we may not have enough time to drive up before sunset based on our work schedule, so I was hoping to find some nice spots a little more local to where we'll be.

Thanks for your ideas and suggestions!

Wallyball players wanted in Nashua

Weekly pickup group of meets at the Greater Nashua YMCA in Merrimack up to 3 nights a week for co-ed adult wallyball. (6-9 pm) What is wallball you ask? It's volleyball played inside a racquetball court. It comes with some rule differences you will need to brush up on if you're used to volley.

Winter is coming and we're looking for more players to ensure we have full teams for indoor play all season. We do an email RSVP check on game days so there's no full time commitment. YMCA membership is recommended, pay-as-you-go guest passes are available at the desk.

General Contractor?

I need to have a couple of exterior vents put in - one for a range hood in the kitchen and another to exhaust the bathroom fans through the attic (current just exhausting into the attic). Anyone have a local recommendation for someone they've had a good experience with?

Farm with fall activities nearby.

Any farms nearby that have good pumpkin patch with other activities like fruit picking or corn maze nearby. I saw Brookdale farm in Hollis as an option but looking for better suggestions.
