Hi, I really want to like mythbusters I keep trying and trying but the obnoxious recaps and commerical cuts just kick me out of enjoying it. Has anyone done a re-edit of the show without that stuff?
Shown here is my excuse to run around publicly exclaiming "quack, damn you!". Gratuitous deathray and C4 comments may or may not have been uttered
type below in the comments of what you wish they could hear

Always wondered if some of them were purposely placed as Easter eggs or jokes. After all, why would you store Celery next to the Aprons?
Does anyone watch Bargin Block on HGTV?
I love mythbusters. I consider Jamie and Adam and co. preeminent minds in materials science, engineering and science education.
I’m also a meat eater. An enjoyer of pork.
I also know we all love animals.
And I know we’re all smart people, and we know pigs are smart.
And even as tasty as they are, I bet we can come together and engineer a way to simulate our awesome experiments without hurting them!
Love you all and excited to hear what everyone comes up with!
We made Adam and Jamie as Gang Beast characters and couldn't stop laughing! :)
i was thinking about how hyped a lot of the tv dramas of the 2010s were and how i think if you take a step back and look at the story as a whole then you probably would find them to be pretty lackluster and not as compelling if the hype to see what happens next was not there, and then i thought about it and said "look if your tv show makes it into the MythBusters you have essentially written gold" i cant say breaking bad does not hold up today, especialy when there were a couple of episodes were they focused solely on breaking bad, and from my perspective if your writing is so good to the point where there are people actually trying certain things out to see if they would actually happen then id say you have written a pretty good show

What’s your favorite Tory moment from mythbusters?
I just saw Kari and Tori together in a Tide commercial with the “myth” that cold water cannot clean as well as warm water.

24/7 mythbusters episodes on free-vee, it's a free TV service.
I've been trying to hold back on this post because idk if it shows all the seasons, or repeat few episode like some shows on other free TV apps but the episodes and seasons seem to be randomized.
Any myths you wish they had tested differently that would've helped get a better result?
Mine: The Axe vs. Gun myth in the Zombie Special.
They came to the conclusion that the axe would be a better weapon, when Adam used an unweighted foam axe against a group of fans in zombie makeup. I get that guns can jam and have to be reloaded and whatever, but I'm gonna go ahead and guess that the amount of strength required to bash in a human skull with an actual axe, let alone doing so repeatedly while fighting for your life, would've lowered Adam's kill count significantly. Maybe you could make the argument that a zombie's partially rotted head would make the skull weaker, but still...
I'm sure there are others, I just wanted to vent about that one for a minute.
Besides the “oogy boogy” stuff like Pyramid Power and buying perpetual motion machines from the internet (as Adam calls those types), which ones did you think were just nonsense immediately (and were right)?
Confederate Rocket was always ridiculous to me because as soon as they said “120 miles” I immediately knew it was crap. There’s just no way anything near that was possible until like 80 years later
Come to think of it, the “ancient Chinese astronaut” one too. Like come on he probably just instantly exploded and some idiot that couldn’t see through the dust cloud probably started telling people he went to space
Does anyone recall which episode Adam and Jamie were shopping for something, Adam had a beatnik hat on and said something like ‘peace to your mother’?
YouTube channels Banijay Science and Mythbusters upload the show regularly, with only one problem for me: no English subtitles. Yes, YouTube has auto-generated subtitles, the problem is too many mistakes. Is there a way to download the subtitles? I can't find it anywhere, and I searched this forum with no results.
It's just now dawning on my just how influential this show was with regard to the ways in which my mind and worldview developed though my adolescent years. I was born in '91, so i was around 11 or 12 when MythBusters first went on air, and I was an instant fan. Seriously couldn't get enough of the show. When I look back on my life and take an honest inventory of the things that shaped me and my mind into what they are today, I have to admit that this god damn television show was absolutely pivotal for me. Of course there are a million other people and things that I owe thanks to aside from Mythbusters, but I really don't think that I would have developed the critical thinking skills and distain for hand-wavey explanations that I have today, without this show.
So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone involved. You've undoubtedly made the world a better place than you found it. Bravo 👏👏👏
I just started watching MB on YouTube and it’s quickly become one of my favourite channels. Then I read that Grant died in 2020 and it’s made watching it very poignant. Such a shame.
I know that the Mythbusters store things that they have built or acquired, but in this episode, what did they do with the resulting motorcycle? Did they leave it as a motorcycle?
If I remember correctly they had to do some cutting so restoring to its former state would be impossible.
I am just curious if anyone else felt like I did....but is that pyramid believer just fucking creepy and gives off bad vibes? I would be scared to just hangout with him 1 on 1.

Came across these from the Mythbuster’s 2012 Tour at UCF. Wish they would do this again. The big kids had even more fun than the little kids.
January 2023 someone uploaded all the DVD rips of the Mythbusters DVDs they had. Each having the "Beyond Entertainment" intro.
The coolest part, each of these episodes are 3-5 minutes LONGER than the broadcast episodes that I had at time of airing. Literally, I had files from 2006 and 2007 that were original aired versions. The new ones were tons better quality, with footage I had never seen before.
