Hello,
I have lived in Muncie for a few years now but I am, sadly, awful at networking. Currently I am looking for people who are passionate about end-of-life and postmortem care. I would like to run some events and workshops around these topics in the future, so it would be really nice to have like-minded acquaintances to assist in this. I am also a recently trained end-of-life doula and am looking at bringing my services into the community in the near future. If anyone would like to chat or if you have suggestions for local groups and/or resources that would be beneficial, please drop me a line.
Thanks!
So far I found the closest one in Fishers. Why doesn't Muncie have at least seasonal open skating rink? Or I'm not aware of the one?
I’m looking to buy a cheap mountain bike that maybe you don’t use anymore or a cheap moped, I need to be able to travel 10 miles for work somehow.
Hey all, my fiance and I are buying a home out there this weekend we were gifted a queen size bedroom set but are in need of a queen mattress does anybody have or know where to get one cheap? Also in need of home decor and decor for my children's rooms. If you know of anything lmk!🥰
What’s there to do for a single person in their 30s around here? Trying to stay out of the bars but it looks like the only option.
Is there any updates about the North Tillotson lane restriction? It looks like the crews removed all their equipment, and according to AEP's website, they're supposed to be done with Tillotson this month. Anyone know anything new?
Hello Muncie!
I was in town this past weekend and I just wanted to give recognition to the David Owsley Museum of Art at Ball State University. What a wonderful little jewel you have. I was blown away with the diversity of collection, and the renowned artist represented. Plus, the fact that it was FREE is a must visit for anyone passing anywhere near Muncie.
Hi everyone!
I may be moving to Muncie from Boston soon for work so I'm doing some preliminary apartment searching. Renting in Boston is extremely expensive so I'm not used to these prices and can't tell what's a scam/bad quality and what's normal. The properties on this site seem impossibly low--what am I missing? Bad area? Scam? thanks for your help <3
Moved in this past weekend and I’m trying to get the ball rolling in finding friends before I get started at work! Are there any clubs, meeting groups, events, places, etc that would help me meet some people in their early to mid 20s? I’m a jack of all trades so recommend anything I most likely am into it lol
Does anyone know of a EMT program located in Muncie? I’m looking to get certified.
Literally asking for a friend (he doesn't use reddit). He has been in town a little over a year and is having a hard time meeting people. Thanks!
I have been itching to get into a jam session with some likeminded musicians.
My influences are: Nirvana, Vein.FM, Aphex Twin, and The Alchemist
I have an amp and a guitar. I just need to find a drummer/bassist/vocalist.
I am down to make anything, besides new school country. (Unless you have a fire country song you're tryna write)
Just shoot me a DM and we can talk it out.
You're welcome.
Make a thing of ranch with a ranch packet. In another small bowl mix some butter and fresh dill. Microwave the butter and dill until melted. Throw in ranch mixture. Let sit overnight. Boom...as much Pizza King ranch as you want.
Does anyone know one of the artists who worked at the FB Fogg gallery that used to be on Main? I have a lovely fairy riding a dove who needs some TLC. Any help very appreciated!
Hello! I’m looking to move to Muncie this November, and I’m wondering if you have any property management or apartment recommendations (or even places to warn me against)?
I am in my early 20s and got a job in the downtown area of town. I am done with school so I don’t need proximity to the university. The apartment/house will need to be pet friendly because I have a cat, and my budget is 1200 or less a month for a one bedroom. I also have a car so if you have recommendations that are slightly outside of town, that’s also fine, I’m happy living within a 30 minute or so drive of town.
Thank you for your help! Can’t wait to join the community!!
Ok so here’s some context.
There is a player for the Los Angeles Dodgers named Max Muncy. I am a perennial shitposter in the /r/baseball subreddit. I made an offhand comment about how Max Muncy has a surname that is a homonym to your fair city. Things then progressed that as I took the jest further I implied I was employed by the city of Muncie to comment on each of his at-bats.
Look, I have only briefly driven through Muncie a couple of times and I know nothing of the city nor its culture. The Dodgers are continuing their quest to the World Series and this motherfucker tied the all time record for most consecutive times reaching base in the post season. The previous record was set by Reggie Jackson in FUCKING 1977.
I need help. Please please please give me any sort of trivia or just ANYTHING I can spin into comments. By Jove I’ve dedicated myself to this bit and I shall see it through!
Is there a good and reasonable priced veterinary clinic you would recommend?
Where can I find a good tres leches cake in Muncie?
Only Jan-Feb, they charge 900 per month, I will be 500 only, full furniture.
How do you make it where other people can post in your community on here?
Muncie Civic is doing Waitress the Musical (and several others) and auditions are next week! If you've never been apart of Civic, then you probably don't know, but audition details are posted at the bottom of their website. It's a great community to be apart of and are always wanting more to join in!
Because I'm passionate about Waitress, I'm going to tell you about it.
They are looking for males and females, 30+. It'll be a small cast (about 16). It is a mature show.
We have a bunch signed up already, but it's always fun to add in more!
Anywho. That's my community post for today.
Where do y’all take your water loving dogs? I’d like to introduce my puppy to water but I’m not from Indiana so where should I go?
SPOILER ALERT: The hypothetical person is me.
I prefer private landlords, if possible.
Any leads? Where do I want to live?
Hello all,
I’m a student at BSU and have now lived in Muncie for close to two years. My experience in Muncie has been kept to campus or whatever has been on Mcgalliard for the most part.
I’m curious of whatever need to see or unknown niche places there is here in Muncie. (Shops, parks, restaurants, bars, monuments, etc.)
literally every other time i go to a gas station they will not read my card outside at the pump and it makes me late every damn time it’s fucking annoying. today they took ALL the money off my card too so when i went to another gas station my card didn’t even work
I'm 17 (turning 18 in March) looking for places to volunteer, but don't really know where to start looking? Preferably some place to do with animals as I'd absolutely love it!! But anywhere accepting volunteers is appreciated!!
Hi, desperately needing food and dog food to get me through a couple weeks after my ex emptied by bank account in some sick revenge. I don’t have the gas money to drive to a bunch of locations so I was hoping to get some information on food banks in Muncie and the surrounding areas to save the gas that I have . Thanks for reading
