Imagine a horror-thriller that immerses you completely in the experience of a deaf protagonist.
Silent Echoes follows Sarah, a deaf woman in her late 20s who moves into a secluded apartment complex to start fresh after a breakup. Unknown to her, the building has a sinister history—a serial killer known as The Whisperer once terrorized its halls. Sarah, who communicates only through American Sign Language (ASL), becomes his next target.
The movie unfolds primarily from Sarah’s perspective. The audience experiences the world as she does—silent, with heightened visual and tactile sensations. This creates an intense, claustrophobic atmosphere where small details, like flickering lights or subtle vibrations, become crucial.
Key moments include Sarah using vibration-sensitive lights and cameras to detect the killer, uncovering the building's dark past through ASL conversations, and a final, wordless showdown that relies on raw visuals and vibrations instead of sound.
The themes focus on resilience and adaptability, showing how Sarah’s deafness is not a weakness but a strength. The film flips the predator-prey dynamic, with Sarah using her ingenuity to outsmart her stalker.
Would you watch this? What twists or ideas could make it even better? Let me know!
This may sound absurd to many, but I think Jonathan Swift’s 1726 satirical novel would be right up Zemeckis’s ally!
Since he’s become known for his strange motion capture films like The Polar Express and A Christmas Carol, I think he’d be an excellent person to adapt the story to film. His directing style is perfectly suited for bringing Swift’s whimsical world to life. Imagine seeing all the unique and bizarre lands and characters created with motion capture technology. I’m talking about characters like the Lilliputians, giants of Brobdingnag, the inhabitants of the floating island Laputa, the intelligent horses called Houyhnhnms, and the humanoid creatures called Yahoos.
Plus, the guy has already directed Disney’s 2021 Pinocchio remake, so he’s pretty well versed in fantastical settings.

An almost venom-like (I never watched any venom movies) movie set in the future where a robot used in a factory along with many others receives a virus that tells the robot he will help him be free from his slave job, which leads to the virus and the robot going on to kill anyone who opposes them, the virus takes control during the killings, the robot is the one who solves problems that don't include/recquire violence.
A film about an elm tree which was selected by a family to be placed into their home living room. But the choice they made turned into a mistake, as the tree transforms into something completely different from a trigger when the family turns its lights off for the night. Its branches suddenly grow and stretches all the way out to the bedrooms and drags people out of their beds, under the tree skirt and their bodies are shredded by the inside of the stem which acts as the tree’s throat.
Concept: A bittersweet and introspective drama following three interconnected stories over the course of one night in a sleepless city. Each story explores themes of loneliness, fleeting connections, and the quiet moments that leave lasting impressions.
Characters: Ethan Malone Story: Ethan, a young stand-up comedian, performs his final show at a small comedy club before leaving the city for his hometown. Though his act is full of humor, his set is laced with bittersweet reflections on his failures, heartbreaks, and love for the city he’s leaving behind.
Samir Hassan Story: Samir, a widowed cab driver nearing retirement, spends the night driving through the city, reflecting on the life he’s built and the family he left behind when he immigrated. He picks up a lonely young woman who just moved to the city and shares advice that mirrors his own struggles with finding belonging.
Mia Chen and Alex Rivera Story: Mia and Alex wander the quiet streets of the city after attending a friend’s party. Their conversation begins with lighthearted banter but slowly evolves into a deeper debate about their relationship. Both are afraid to admit that they might want different things in life. Their walk becomes a metaphor for the emotional distance they are navigating.
Plot: Over the course of a single sleepless night in an urban city, three lives subtly intertwine. A young comedian performs his final set at a small club before leaving the city, reflecting on his failures and the bittersweet memories he’s leaving behind. A widowed cab driver spends the night sharing quiet wisdom with his passengers, including a lonely newcomer struggling to find her place. Meanwhile, a couple wanders the empty streets after a party, their playful banter evolving into a heartfelt debate about the future of their relationship. Through fleeting connections and quiet revelations, each of them confronts the inevitability of change and the beauty of moving forward.
Sample Scenes: The Comedian's Final Set: Ethan stands on stage under a dim spotlight. His jokes are sharp and self-deprecating, but halfway through his set, his tone shifts. “You ever realize that some places feel like a person? The city… this city… has been like a friend. A messy, unreliable, wonderful friend. But, uh… I think it’s time we broke up.” The audience laughs, but Ethan’s eyes betray a mix of sadness and relief.
The Cab Ride: Samir picks up a young woman sitting on the curb, suitcase by her side. She says she just moved to the city but already feels lost. “The city takes time,” Samir says, glancing at her in the rearview mirror. “It’s like a relationship. First, it excites you. Then it frustrates you. But if you’re patient, it’ll show you its beauty.”
The Couple’s Walk: Mia and Alex walk side by side down an empty street. She looks up at the skyline. “Do you ever think… maybe we’ve been forcing this?” Alex hesitates. “Forcing what?” She stops walking. “Us.” The silence hangs between them, broken only by the faint hum of the city.
Ending: The stories intersect subtly but never overtly.
Ethan finishes his set, steps outside the club, and bumps into Samir, who offers him a ride. As Samir drives, he shares a piece of advice: “Sometimes, starting over is the bravest thing you can do.” Ethan looks out the window, quietly processing the words. Meanwhile, Mia and Alex sit on a park bench, staring at the distant city lights. They hold hands but say nothing, the ambiguity of their future left unresolved. The film ends with a wide shot of the city at dawn.
In 1995, billionaire biotech mogul Charles Lloyd funds a desperate rescue mission to uncover the truth behind his daughter Kate’s disappearance in the icy desolation of Antarctica. A distress beacon from a derelict research station—built atop the ruins of the Norwegian camp—suggests a grim possibility: the organism that destroyed the station may have survived.
Lloyd assembles an elite team of mercenaries equipped with experimental biotech weapons and cutting-edge technology to brave the frozen wilderness. Their mission: retrieve the station’s classified data and uncover any evidence of survivors. But as the team delves deeper into the abandoned facility, they uncover horrifying truths: the research station was conducting secret experiments on the alien organism, and the Thing has evolved in terrifying ways, now capable of assimilating not only flesh but also advanced technology.
When the team discovers a lone survivor claiming to be Kate, paranoia consumes them. Is this truly Lloyd's daughter, or a perfect imitation designed to manipulate and destroy them? As trust fractures and the Thing begins to infiltrate their ranks, the mercenaries must fight an enemy that could be any one of them—or all of them.
In a relentless race against time, survival, and the hostile Antarctic elements, the team faces an impossible choice: destroy the research and the organism, or risk unleashing a nightmare upon humanity. The frozen wasteland becomes a battlefield where loyalty, sacrifice, and terror collide in a deadly crescendo.

Here's my idea for a Slasher movie set on Valentine's Day cuz i looove Slasher movies set in holidays like Black Christmas, My Bloody Valentine or Thanksgiving, before i start with the fancy text and writing, i'd like ro to say that the main song for the movie or smth would be 'put your head on my shoulder' my idea is that the song plays during the begining of the movie, the final act and chasing scene and a distorted version also plays during the credits :p
Plot
In the quaint town of Sunny Hills, a Valentine’s Day celebration meant to promote love and unity turns into a devastating tragedy when a fire engulfs the parade hosted by the Hearty Stay hotel chain. The blaze claims numerous lives, including those of employees and attendees, and the blame falls on the organizers, led by Chris Anderson, the charming yet opportunistic owner of the brand.
A year later, as the town struggles to recover, a masked figure emerges—donning the charred face of Hearty, the hotel's mascot. This avenger begins a brutal killing spree, targeting everyone responsible for the tragedy, directly or indirectly, and anyone who stands in their way.
Mia Anderson, Chris’s estranged niece, is forced to confront not only the killer but also the lingering scars of her family’s mistakes.
Characters
Mia Anderson (The Protagonist) Mia is Chris’s sharp-witted and resilient niece, the town’s only hope of stopping the killer. After her uncle exploited her mother’s death as a marketing ploy, Mia has grown to despise him. Haunted by the trauma of witnessing her mother’s death when she was a kid, she keeps her pain locked inside. Her bond with Alice, her young cousin, reveals her softer, more compassionate side as she fights to protect her family.
Luke Kingman (The Boyfriend) Luke is Mia’s supportive and charming boyfriend. He’s always there for her, offering comfort and guidance, but there’s something off about him. His mysterious demeanor and cryptic actions make others question whether Luke is as perfect as he seems—or if he’s hiding something darker.
Quinn Evans (The Flirty Friend) Quinn is the life of the group, bold, carefree, and always pushing Mia to let go of her fears and live in the moment. Outgoing and flirty, Quinn is fiercely loyal to her friends. Her fiery romance with Troye makes them the most passionate and fun-loving couple in the group.
Troye Gonzalez (The Fun-Loving Boyfriend) Quinn’s equally extroverted boyfriend, Troye, is always on the hunt for adventure. While his playful nature can seem shallow, he proves his loyalty and courage when it truly matters. His bond with Quinn is equal parts passion and partnership.
Julia Clark (The Quiet Observer) Julia is the group’s introvert, preferring a good book or her music over social gatherings. She often stays in the background, but her sharp intelligence and dry humor make her an invaluable ally when the stakes are high.
Cameron Wallas (The Suspicious Ex) Quinn’s enigmatic ex-boyfriend, Cameron has a magnetic charm that makes him both intriguing and unnerving. He approaches Mia with offers to help solve the murders, but his toxic past with Quinn and secretive behavior paint him as a likely suspect. Is he a trustworthy ally, or does he have a more sinister role in the unfolding chaos?
Olivia Sprouse (The Ruthless Influencer) Olivia is the queen of social media and the center of attention both online and in school. Opportunistic and self-serving, she tries to befriend Mia, claiming empathy, but her real goal is to exploit the situation for more clicks and followers. Her manipulative nature often clashes with others.
Mike Summers (The Jock) Mike is Olivia’s athletic and mild-mannered boyfriend. He adores Olivia but is too intimidated to stand up to her dominant personality, making him a passive presence in most situations.
Chris Anderson (The Ambitious Hotel Owner) Chris is the charismatic owner of Hearty Stay and Mia’s uncle, whose charm masks his self-serving ambitions. In the wake of the fire, he shamelessly capitalizes on the tragedy to benefit his hotel chain, making him a prime target for the killer. His strained relationship with Mia is steeped in bitterness and long-buried secrets.
Victoria Anderson (The Superficial Wife) Chris’s wife, Victoria, is more interested in appearances and material wealth than dealing with her family’s problems. Shallow and vain, she often comes across as detached and self-centered.
Alice Anderson (The Innocent Niece) Alice, Chris’s 12-year-old daughter, is sweet, curious, and deeply attached to Mia, who acts as a surrogate mother figure. Her innocence makes her a vulnerable target for the killer, adding emotional stakes to Mia’s fight to keep her safe.
Mason Jones (The Broken Drunk) Once the fire chief, Mason fled the scene of the tragedy while drunk, leaving many to perish. Now a broken man, he spends his days in Alcoholics Anonymous, trying to make peace with his past. Though he seems remorseful, his connection to the fire puts him under heavy suspicion.
Detective Flores (The Driven Investigator) A seasoned detective who lost his daughter in the parade fire, Flores is determined to stop the killer before Sunny Hills descends into chaos. His relentless pursuit of justice is fueled by both duty and a personal need for closure, making him a key player in unraveling the town’s secrets.
Chaos ensues

So a serial killer is like really into Christmas, this is not a horror movie but and action one, and he infiltrated the US government to "spread cheer to non-christmas goes" and he tries to launch nuclear weapons on different countries but the FBI infiltrated his house and ass they go through like 20 rooms you can hear Christmas music all through the house, and the only reason they found him was because the three super powers of the world teamed up to stop a global crisis, so his plan all along was to bring everyone together and bring world peace on Christmas.
Movie idea. No idea for a name for the movie, human or alien just a basic little movie idea but genuinely curious would you watch this?
A human astronaut crash lands on an alien planet full of civilization, but he lands on a farm. The alien farmer grabs their weapon and runs out to the spot where the human ship crashed and absolutely freaks out at this weird creature that comes stumbling out of the wreckage and pulls part of its head off. But then he sees the creature is hurt so he tries to help it and hide it while his government comes to investigate the crash site.
On the news its nothing but a meteor that fell to the ground, rare but it happens. Only he knows the truth. Part of the movie Is the alien giving the human different foods trying to get it to eat, while both struggle to communicate they eventually find a common ground a food the human has come to love the human keeps calling it "apple" so the alien assumes humans must have them too and teaches the human how to say it in their language. As they learn to communicate the alien learns that the human just wants to get home and they team up with the alien managing to tell him the materials needed to build a ship. The alien is admittedly horrified because every component the human asks for is all basic supplies they can find at their local stores but wanting to help the poor little creature the alien goes and gets everything the humans asks that he can and helps the human rebuild his ship. Just as the human is getting into the ship to leave the aliens government shows up and captures the human.

I’d love to see a movie from the perspective of a band of early Homo sapiens migrating into Europe and running into Neanderthals. Maybe there is conflict between them, maybe there is forbidden romance, maybe it is a horror movie!

I’m in the process of writing an Alien fan film and was wondering if anyone had any ideas on story or characters that could be included
One movie I would love to see get remade into animation is Victor Hugo’s The Man Who Laughs.
Which is a story about a man called Gwynplaine who gets surgically disfigured as a child to have a continuous grin( kinda like Joker) but a kinder version, and becomes a side show in a travelling circus.
Would’ve loved if Disney did this back in the 90’s when they were at their best they did another of Hugo’s work with The Hunchback of Notre Dame which is a great film.
It’s too bad Disney don’t do 2D animation anymore cause I feel The Man Who laughs could work really well in that art style, an adaptation hasn’t been done in Hollywood since the silent film in 1920’s and it’s about time the story was reimagined for modern audiences.
I don’t know of any other studio except Stuido Ghibli that produce 2D animated movies, to be honest I’d love to see their interpretation on the story as well, I could be in the minority here as the story is one of my favourites and I have a fondness for the 1928 movie.
I recently rewatched every single air-buds/spinoffs. I just so happened to have come up with a new idea for a return to the franchise. Our story takes place 5 years after the last air-bud and it sees our characters meet a rich entrepreneur named p doggy later in the movie they are invited to a doggy party and find out that he is freaky. The final act concludes with b-dawg decapitating p doggy and the mansion explodes as our characters leave. Roll credits Also there would be a scene with mud-bud coming into contact with some puppy-oil and using it all this leads to his death because he cannot escape pdoggy
In case you're wondering, I'm a black cat in this story.
I was saved by a little kid named Raymond and since then, we had become best friend. Raymond lives in a big house but what do I care? I'm just a cat. Bigger houses just mean bigger napping places.
A new girl arrives in town. Raymond says he wants to befriend her. I am skeptical because something feels off about her.
Raymond recently makes this stupid look on his face whenever he sees that girl. Is he having a fever or something?
Oh now I get it. Raymond says he fell in love with the girl.
I tried to be soft to the girl for Raymond sake and she's not as bad as I expected. But Raymond still remains as my favorite.
One day, Raymond suddenly gives her a ring. I think that is his grandpa's ring. I kinda knew since that old man tried to touch every second he sees the oh mighty me. Raymond promises that he will marry the girl in the future. The girl responded his affection. Oh young love.
I'm angry! Recently, Raymond leaves me to go to his "duties" and he doesn't let me come with him.
The girl also became curious and silently followed Raymond. I asked her to let me follow.
The girl and I hid below the hut where Raymond entered. We saw his two big uncles enter the same hut. There I heard the most horrifying sound Raymond has ever made. Raymond called out for his deceased mother in pain. I couldn't see anything since the girl hugged me tightly. I also couldn't even see her face.
After a while, silent pursued.
The big uncles carried Raymond to the big tree in their backyard and left them there. Now I remember, this was the tree that Raymond promised the girl to marry her in the future. As I looked at the girl, her gaze remained focused to Raymond. Raymond remained still. I touched his face but he was cold. I looked back to the girl trying to ask for what happened but she cannot understand me since I'm a cat.
Rain poured down and the girl carried Raymond on her back. I tried calling out to Raymond but no response. That was when I realized Raymond is no longer with us.
I followed the girl to her hut where she tried to fix Raymond. Her hut is full of eerie and weird looking things. Maybe the rumors of her being a witch might be true.
After 3 days of tirelessly fixing Raymond, the girl managed to fix Raymond's disfigured face. Still, that doesn't change the fact that Raymond is long gone.
I returned to the mansion. Rumor has it that Raymond ran away with the girl. How ridiculous! Who started this rumor? Ofc it was those two fat uncles who made this rumor to cover their tracks. One day, I'll exact my revenge on this fat buffoons.
When dusk came, I returned to the hut to find the girl looking for me. She said she finally done it. When I went inside the hut, I saw Raymond or what appears to be Raymond standing still. He called for me but I'm skeptical. He still has this loving voice but his eyes has become dull which made me certain that this person is just a shell of Raymond.
I dashed out and the girl ran after me. I tried to claw her when she caught me but I felt a dampness on my back. She told me that Raymond's soul broke beyond repair and she couldn't bear to lose him so she decided to do it. After crying for a while, I decided to forgive her and put my paw on top of her head.
I started living with the girl and the Raymond-like person. I saw how deeply the girl's affection for Raymond. If Raymond had been with us, our lives would've exactly turn out to be like this.
One night, the girl sneakily left the hut. I followed her.
When she reached the big tree where Raymond was left behind, I saw the two fat uncles. When I saw them trying to harm the girl, I scratched one the fat uncle's face and as retribution he kicked me. He tried to finish me off by punching me but Raymond-like person protected me. What happened after that remained blurry as I fainted.
When I woke up, I saw the two fat uncles hanging on the tree heavily mutilated and lifeless. I feel no sympathy. They only got what they deserved for killing my Raymond.
We all went to the girl's hut and I decided to give this Raymond-like person a chance. I shall name him Raymond 2.
After a few days, the girl locked Raymond 2 in cage saying that she needs to go somewhere and it would be bad if Raymond appeared there.
I assured Raymond 2 I will protect the girl as I left with her.
We went to original Raymond's house and saw a funeral taking place for the two fat uncles. The girl was enraged with this as she set fire to the funeral.
As she was escaping, she got caught by one of the guards. I tried to defend her but I got kicked once again. I'm sorry Raymond 2 but I couldn't defend her again. As my consciousness was fading, I saw a silhouette of Raymond's grandfather approaching the girl.
The next thing I knew, I woke up in Raymond's bed. I thought maybe what happened was just a dream so I ran around to find Raymond but to no avail. Instead, I was caught by one of those bad mannered cousins of Raymond. They tried to harm me but thank goodness the girl saved me. They also tried to harm the girl but got scolded by their grandfather the second he saw them.
The girl and grandfather went inside a fancy room. Grandfather quickly noticed me and tried to touch me but I scratched his hand. You do not have the permission to touch the Oh might me! I the lay down in the girl's lap.
Turns out, the grandfather noticed the girl's ring that he gave to Raymond before he disappeared. He questioned the girl about his whereabouts but all the girl said was to meet her at her hut.
When we got home, the girl and I was surprised to see Raymond 2 waving at us in the door. How did he manage to break such strong cage? Maybe he gained superhuman strength as he lost part of his soul? Maybe I should also learn from him to better protect the girl.
By night, the grandfather was reunited with his grandson but was surprised that he was as cold as ice. The girl admitted to everything that had happened. The grandfather was devasted to discover that such things happened under his roof without his own knowledge. After a while, he then left.
After a few days, the grandfather returned. He said he investigated and found out that most of his relatives took a hand upon Raymond's suffering. Raymond's meant if "duty" was to elevate his relative's anger on him for being his grandfather's favorite grandson.
Grandfather gave the girl an offer. To be adopted by him and become the heir to all his fortunes. The girl told him him that what she wants is revenge not fortune. The grandfather agreed with it. He revealed that everyone in that mansion except for Raymond and his mother, has no blood connection to him since they were all bastard children of his wives. Raymond and his mother was the the fruit of his and his true love's affection for another. The other wives were just political marriage for the sake of saving their families.
With that, the girl, I, and Raymond 2 transferred to the main house. The grandfather introduced the girl as Raymond's wife and they should celebrate their return. The grandfather assured the girl that he would place at his side to ensure outmost protection and assign guards to protect us every step of the way in the inheritance process.
Over the years, the girl managed to punish the evil relatives one by one. Exacting cruel punishments that they deserved. She also solidified her position in court which enabled her to become the first female heir and landowner in the country.
I don't know how she did it but she managed to create a son and daughter with Raymond. I checked and it's indeed theirs and they are fully alive with intact souls.
What happened to me you ask?
I am now a mother of 10 beautiful kittens. I scratched my husband's face when he cheated on me. To be exact, I could've ended his life right there if the kittens were not with me at that time.
So that is all about this dream. See you next time. Black cat out.
I'm not sure if this was a fever dream or I'm just too dumb to find it. I recall watching a movie where patton oswald was a somewhat homeless postal worker. Who goes postal with a shotgun in a typical "they live" fashion. The whole movie was just him being gaslit till he was given a new prescription of contacts. Ending in a rooftop standoff where he's shot in the back by a female leading him on. Kind of like a queen bee usurping a throne from its predecessor.
A drama about a CEO of a toilet making company who is dealing with a break up with her housband and a lot of hate from introducing a shit idea to the public, of a toilet that can be used to have sex.
Honestly this could be a show, movie or a book But I’m posting it here. (Kinda sounds like a Dexter villian the more that I think about it😭) But here’s the plot:
A killer called “The 365 killer”
Every decade the killer goes to a different Continent and goes into different towns and kills a bunches of people in each town and every day of a year he kills. To kill them he stabs them with a knife in the back of the head and then carves 1/365 for each day. The cops will sometimes find different dates at a time so sometimes they’ll find 7/365 or 22/365 it’s all scattered but by the end of the year he’s gone and the cops have nothing. And next decade he hops to another continent and does the same thing. The one killer the cops can’t find, the 365 killer.
