Hello, I am a little confused about residency requirements.
I understand that you need a min of 500 000 euros to deposit into a local bank account. I have spoken to some people who have told that after some time those funds can be removed.
All the information online seems to say otherwise, however I've been told the opposite in person by a resident.
Can the 500 000 be used for instance to buy stocks, or is it simply just left in a bank account accruing minimal interest?
Thanks
I couldn't find it on their official website but is the Casino open on Easter Monday? I know it's a public Holiday so just curious if it's open at all (in addition to this q - is it open/closed on actual Easter Sunday?)
Hi everyone, I'm a 27 year old woman living in the U.S looking to learn more about Monaco and it's culture. If you'd like to connect and be friends, feel free to send me a message!
Hi all - new resident here. As part of my resident permit requirements, I opened up a bank account with Barclays. I have a pretty vanilla Visa card from them. I generally travel a lot for business and personal both, and have historically used an Amex card due to the travel benefits and points earning ability. I’ve been based in the UK for years and have been using a UK issued amex card. Question for those who have been in Monaco for a while - are there any decent options for travel benefit credit cards for Monaco residents? I do not believe American Express issues cards locally. Any help is appreciated!
I was just looking for fun vacation activities to do. Things that shouldn’t be missed since I think this will be the only time in my life I will be there.

If anyone has personal experiences or knows of specific programs that meet these criteria, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Any advice on the job market in the area after completing an MBA would also be super helpful.
Thanks in advance!

Hello! I am looking for a unique luxurious taxi option to pick 5 of us up from Monte Carlo and take us to nice. It will be for my friend’s 40th so I want to surprise her with something unique. Having trouble finding something different that can fit the 5 of us, all I see are the same Mercedes vans. Any help would be great, thanks
I’m doing a project about Monaco and was curious about the housing because the internet is quite vague on it. What type of houses are common and normal (townhouses, apartments, etc) and are basements attics common? Just anything please thank you
I'm planning to explore the clothing market in Monaco and wanted to get an idea of the price range for normal and good-quality clothes.
Specifically, I’m curious about:
The average cost of casual wear (e.g., t-shirts, jeans, etc.) for everyday use.
The price range for higher-quality or branded clothing.
If anyone could provide insights, recommendations, or even names of stores/brands to check out, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Hi everyone,
A few days ago, I posted here about relocating to Monaco, and I’m grateful for the helpful feedback I received. It helped me clarify a few things. Given my lifestyle and priorities, I’m seeking additional input on where Monaco might be best to live.
I’m an active person and enjoy running and cycling. From researching and browsing Strava, I’ve noticed some fantastic cycling routes lead out of Monaco and into the hills. I’d like to know how practical it is to cycle through Monaco itself - would it be straightforward, or might it make more sense to look at areas on the outskirts?
In addition, I’d need access to a supermarket and ideally a parking space, as I understand parking can be a bit of a challenge in Monaco. Before moving forward, I’m trying to get a clear idea of the ideal location, timeline, and budget.
I’d kindly ask that agents not contact me directly for now. When I’m ready to proceed, I will reach out myself. I’d appreciate hearing any insights or experiences from those familiar with Monaco or who relocated there.
Thanks in advance for your help!
