Calling all critical thinkers and those with special interests!
I have made it a mission of mine to be in every reddit sub for every nation on the earth (or at least the ones in english).
I am trying to gauge interest in any who wish to bring their passion and knowledge in a category to join a groupchat (on the dinosaur of a platform known as Facebook).
What im looking for and why:
My whole life ive been interested in different countries and cultures and the idea of having an 18+ groupchat in which many nations have a bit of representation its a dream come true. Id love to have people who are educated and capable of deep discussion about various topics.
Criteria
Have a special interest in any field politics, philosphy, history, heck even those proficient in film music or theatre.
You can take a joke. Its a fairly on task group chat however id say the only stuff that is censored as far as words go is any words pertaining to race or explicitly sexual material.
You are respectful of different religions. The group chat is very commonly excercising various different belief standpoints and jokes as long as they are in good taste are perfectly acceptable
What to expect:
Debates: these can range in a variety of topics from politics to history to science. And they can border on "heated" but at the end we are all just trying to learn and any oversteps will result in bans after a warning if course
Varied religious backgrounds id say the group is about 65% Christian 35% atheist but everyone in there is comfortable with sharing details about their religion free of ridicule aside from the lighthearted jokes. We have also recently added some others majority of which are Muslim.
The group right now is majorly american but there has been a fair bit of canadians that have joined and left over the three years the groupchat has been around. We recently got some members Azerbaijan, Bahrain, and Germany
Right now we have experts in the following categories
Cryptocurrency TV Shows and Pop culture Philosophy American Law World History Military History Video Game History Meteorology
The group is probably like 45% autistics with special interests so we pride ourselves on knowing our craft.
Each month I post news articles from every nation's internet news source in alphabetical order usually a letter a day. And we monitor and disccus the conflicts happening abroad
The group is 100% male which wasnt even by design thats just how its gone so far but there isnt a gender requirement one way or the other.
The donts:
No excessive meme spam. I tend to allow discussions with GIFS but depending on how many join the chat, theres no need for excessive memes
No posting sexual or graphic material some mems walk the line but never cross it.
No racial slurs
The creator of the GC is the final authority on everything
The point of the GC is to engage and have fun. If somebody is going a month without at least reading the posts then you shouldnt have joined in the first place silly! Inactives are often removed after one month.
Lets educate eachother! The goal is to increase comradery and learm about eachother cultures.
As of right now im wanting natives to whatever nation I post this in (as I intend to copy and paste) and depending on traction Im going to try and invite either the first people who respond or the most educated.
If you want to leave a rude comment or something about how you have better things to do go ahead! This is reddit after all!
But at least for the sake of being entertaining lets avoid repeats so far ive heard
Incelfest
Sausagefest
Pretentious
Arrogant
Red pills
Sounds like Hell
Remember we are looking for people who want to make friends and debate ideas not people who think themselves witty comedians.
Hey guys, I'll be in Monaco during the F1 race, 24-26. May, and I'm wondering how I can watch the race without being in the stands. Are there any restaurants nearby that offer a view on the track or are near it? I can't physically go to the race because of tour limitations, but want to watch it so I'm looking at a bar with a view. Any help is appreciated, thanks
Hello r/Monaco!
I'm a tech strategist with a keen interest in the transformative power of blockchain and AI. Having worked with the Monégasque government's, I once proposed a groundbreaking initiative: to secure all educational diplomas on the blockchain, positioning Monaco as the first nation-state to embed blockchain for tangible, fraud-resistant certification processes.
This initiative could have set a global benchmark, enhancing transparency and trust in educational qualifications, yet it did not advance. It's puzzling why such a forward-thinking approach wasn't adopted, considering the global shift towards digital verification.
Moreover, Monaco has the potential to integrate many techs in ways that could revolutionize various sectors. For instance, AI-driven traffic management could drastically reduce congestion in this densely populated state, improving both air quality and quality of life. Another area is enhancing personalized tourism experiences through AI, providing tailored recommendations for visitors based on their preferences and real-time data, further solidifying Monaco's status as a premier tourist destination.
These initiatives represent just the tip of the iceberg for how Monaco could leverage modern technologies to enhance its national infrastructure and global reputation. It's not just about keeping up with technology trends; it’s about leading and setting examples.
Why do you think there's a hesitation to adopt these technologies in Monaco?
As a citizen?
I'll be visiting Nice for a few days mid-may. I was thinking of making a day trip to monaco either the 21st or 22nd. Not really a race fan, more interested in the rest of momaco. I know the race stands and rails will likely be up, but will it be completely packed with people? Is visiting in this time frame inadvisable?
Hello, i’m currently finishing my studies as Medical Doctor, i’m thinking about moving to Monaco, (preferably after i finish my specialization ABROAD) Does someone know which countries’ specialization they accept? How to move there? What do i need.
Is there a government agency that deals with tenancy related issues? I am a tenant and am trying to deal with one of the large property groups here and not getting anywhere. I’m not sure what to do. I guess taking an attorney on is another option, does anybody have any recommendations?
Annually before taxes, bills, anything. Apparently 1/3 of people in Monaco are millionaires, and the GDP per capita of Monaco is incredibly high. How much annual income do people who come to Monaco from France or something to work their job make annually, approximately? And, are the salaries for jobs in Monaco more than the salaries one’d get for doing the same job in a neighboring nation like France, Netherlands, Germany, etc? Or is it WAYY higher? Like, Norway, Switzerland type salaries?
Hello,
Do you know online banks where it is possible to open an account if you live in Monaco?
For example, Revolut won’t let you register with an address in Monaco.
Thanks
Can anyone recommend any places other than Chez Roger to try a great Socca in Monaco? I visited last year and was surprised that for the ‘national streetfood’ Socca didn’t seem to be readily available when wandering about.
Any recommendations for where I could try the best Barbajuan this time too?
Thanks in advance!
I’m looking at universities for master’s in finance and these two universities seem interesting to me because of their locations. I was wondering, which one is better? Like I’d really appreciate any personal experience or general opinion on these two schools. Which one would you recommend?
Hey guys,
I’m thinking of flying to monaco for a 2 day trip. Although I have a small itinerary saved, can y’all suggest some places that I cant miss in my short stay?
Nothing lavish. Normal places would do it
Thanks

I have been looking for information about healthcare in Monaco but I would rather ask residents in Monaco on how is healthcare in your country? Is it private? Is it public? Do you guys need to pay insurance? If public, do you still have to pay long waiting lines?
Hello
Can anyone please explain what the military ceremony was this morning (April 4th) in front of the Palace? It wasn't the changing of the guard. I think that the Prince was present but I've been unable to find anything on the Internet about it.
Thanks!
I will be traveling to Monaco (house in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin) the last week in May with a large group (mix of guys, girls and couples). It’s my first time traveling and would appreciate all the help:
nightlife spots: casual cocktail bars and clubs
dining: casual dinners and high end spots that are both can’t miss
transportation: is it best that we rent a few cars or rely on cabs
day time activities - any day time activities that are can’t miss.
Thanks to anyone who can share any travel tips.
Hi, i’ll be travelling from Nice to Monte Carlo for a day for the Tennis Masters I’ll be arriving early to sight see for a bit, and then i’ll want to go to the Tennis Country Club from the Casino. How do I pay for the bus ticket? Also, will it be packed? Thank you

Hey everyone, I'm a 28-year-old British guy currently working in Monaco. I've struggled a bit to find activities/groups for people in my age group (25-35). Although that's not necessarily that important.
If anyone could offer any suggestions or groups that would be great! Ideally looking for some casual football like 5 a side.
If anyone is in the same boat and is keen on coffee/beer just PM me!
Thanks!
I was looking at apartments online and studio prices are like 2000-5000 which is insane. It would be a dream to live here and I am curious how the job market is like and how the average person lives. Anyone have any tips or life experiences they want to share about transitioning here to the future
I plan to apply for their masters and I saw a lot of bashing on their university which is quite surprising since they have 2 of the top 3 accreditations business schools need to have. Only 1% of business schools have all 3 and some schools are better ranked than IUM with only 1 accreditation so rankings are not everything… It is also quite expensive but it doesn’t differ from other businesses schools😅
My goal is to work in the luxury industry and I am hesitating between ESCP, Emlyon and Monaco. Don’t give me arguments based on rankings because I already know them but in terms of employability at an international level? Cause I don’t plan to work in France at all. Thank you!
Hellooo, I wanna know where I can find Monaco's inflation rate? I can't seem to find it / find a trustee source which idk why :( ... anything in french is also okay. Thankyou!
I literally can not find a dresscode for woman anywhere, but I do not own that many 'fancy' clothes. Can I get in, in the evening, wearing this? Or do I need to wear my purple blazer with it? (It's the purple/lilac you see to the right of me)
