I'll be visiting Nice for a few days mid-may. I was thinking of making a day trip to monaco either the 21st or 22nd. Not really a race fan, more interested in the rest of momaco. I know the race stands and rails will likely be up, but will it be completely packed with people? Is visiting in this time frame inadvisable?
Hello, i’m currently finishing my studies as Medical Doctor, i’m thinking about moving to Monaco, (preferably after i finish my specialization ABROAD) Does someone know which countries’ specialization they accept? How to move there? What do i need.
Is there a government agency that deals with tenancy related issues? I am a tenant and am trying to deal with one of the large property groups here and not getting anywhere. I’m not sure what to do. I guess taking an attorney on is another option, does anybody have any recommendations?
Annually before taxes, bills, anything. Apparently 1/3 of people in Monaco are millionaires, and the GDP per capita of Monaco is incredibly high. How much annual income do people who come to Monaco from France or something to work their job make annually, approximately? And, are the salaries for jobs in Monaco more than the salaries one’d get for doing the same job in a neighboring nation like France, Netherlands, Germany, etc? Or is it WAYY higher? Like, Norway, Switzerland type salaries?
Hello,
Do you know online banks where it is possible to open an account if you live in Monaco?
For example, Revolut won’t let you register with an address in Monaco.
Thanks
Can anyone recommend any places other than Chez Roger to try a great Socca in Monaco? I visited last year and was surprised that for the ‘national streetfood’ Socca didn’t seem to be readily available when wandering about.
Any recommendations for where I could try the best Barbajuan this time too?
Thanks in advance!
I’m looking at universities for master’s in finance and these two universities seem interesting to me because of their locations. I was wondering, which one is better? Like I’d really appreciate any personal experience or general opinion on these two schools. Which one would you recommend?
Hey guys,
I’m thinking of flying to monaco for a 2 day trip. Although I have a small itinerary saved, can y’all suggest some places that I cant miss in my short stay?
Nothing lavish. Normal places would do it
Thanks
Hey everyone, i have a question. The phone i use in europe has a german number and i can use it almost everywhere other than monaco while in europe. So i was wondering if anyone knew what i can do to use my phone in monaco. For example is there like a pre paid sim company that has monegasque numbers or maybe other plans. Thanks
I have been looking for information about healthcare in Monaco but I would rather ask residents in Monaco on how is healthcare in your country? Is it private? Is it public? Do you guys need to pay insurance? If public, do you still have to pay long waiting lines?
Hello
Can anyone please explain what the military ceremony was this morning (April 4th) in front of the Palace? It wasn't the changing of the guard. I think that the Prince was present but I've been unable to find anything on the Internet about it.
Thanks!
I will be traveling to Monaco (house in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin) the last week in May with a large group (mix of guys, girls and couples). It’s my first time traveling and would appreciate all the help:
nightlife spots: casual cocktail bars and clubs
dining: casual dinners and high end spots that are both can’t miss
transportation: is it best that we rent a few cars or rely on cabs
day time activities - any day time activities that are can’t miss.
Thanks to anyone who can share any travel tips.
Hi, i’ll be travelling from Nice to Monte Carlo for a day for the Tennis Masters I’ll be arriving early to sight see for a bit, and then i’ll want to go to the Tennis Country Club from the Casino. How do I pay for the bus ticket? Also, will it be packed? Thank you
I'm collecting euro coins and Monaco coins are hard to find. Is anyone interested for exchange? Thx
Yoo guys, so i ve been planning on going hitchhiking from my country to monaco on the grand prix week and planned to buy the cheapest tickets wich i belive was like a 70eur but now i see that the lowest price is about 400eur. Is there any way that i will be able to see at least something and if not is it worth it going there during the grand prix not for the grand prix? I just to visit and travel across europe and just choose it as my destiantion.
Hey everyone, I'm a 28-year-old British guy currently working in Monaco. I've struggled a bit to find activities/groups for people in my age group (25-35). Although that's not necessarily that important.
If anyone could offer any suggestions or groups that would be great! Ideally looking for some casual football like 5 a side.
If anyone is in the same boat and is keen on coffee/beer just PM me!
Thanks!
I was looking at apartments online and studio prices are like 2000-5000 which is insane. It would be a dream to live here and I am curious how the job market is like and how the average person lives. Anyone have any tips or life experiences they want to share about transitioning here to the future
I plan to apply for their masters and I saw a lot of bashing on their university which is quite surprising since they have 2 of the top 3 accreditations business schools need to have. Only 1% of business schools have all 3 and some schools are better ranked than IUM with only 1 accreditation so rankings are not everything… It is also quite expensive but it doesn’t differ from other businesses schools😅
My goal is to work in the luxury industry and I am hesitating between ESCP, Emlyon and Monaco. Don’t give me arguments based on rankings because I already know them but in terms of employability at an international level? Cause I don’t plan to work in France at all. Thank you!
Hellooo, I wanna know where I can find Monaco's inflation rate? I can't seem to find it / find a trustee source which idk why :( ... anything in french is also okay. Thankyou!
I literally can not find a dresscode for woman anywhere, but I do not own that many 'fancy' clothes. Can I get in, in the evening, wearing this? Or do I need to wear my purple blazer with it? (It's the purple/lilac you see to the right of me)
Would the state find out if one was a resident in monaco but was actually living somewhere else in the eu, while enjoying 0% tax? And if yes how would they find out?
For context: This is for a personal writing project. I am not pursuing Monaco citizenship myself.
I read that Monaco does not allow dual citizenship; however, a child of a Monégasque father is automatically considered a citizen regardless of place of birth. Some countries automatically grant citizenship if you are born in their country.
So, let's say that a Monégasque man travels frequently, meets a Trinidadian and Tobagonian woman while traveling, and they get married. A few years later, the woman gets pregnant, and they continue to travel. She goes into labor while they are visiting Argentina, so the baby is born in Argentina. What nationality would the baby be? Argentinian law states that babies born in Argentina are automatically granted citizenship (yes, even if their parents are tourists). According to Argentinian law she would have Argentinian citizenship, and according to Monégasque law she would have Monégasque citizenship, but Monégasque law also doesn't allow for dual citizenship. So what would happen? Does one law take precedence over another? Do the parents get to choose whether their child is a citizen of Argentina or Monaco?
ONCE AGAIN, I am asking for a personal creative writing project I am doing for fun (will not be published). This would be the circumstances of birth for one of my characters. This is not something I am trying to do in real life.
Hi everyone I'm visiting Monaco for the Grand Prix but also plan to stay a few days longer to enjoy Provence. I'd like to get to know the country better as I've been to Monaco before (on a short half-day trip with my class) which only really allowed us to see the Palais and the garden next to Monaco-Ville back then. So I'm asking if anyone has any tips for restaurants, brasseries, cafés and other interesting things in Monaco - outside of the obvious/touristy ones. Especially something to see or do (or eat) in the time between F2/3 free practice, FP1/2, FP3 and Quali further away from the bustle. I'm european myself so I can completely understand if you don't want to put all the local insider info on the internet but I'd appreciate any kind of tips a lot! After all, I don't just want to check off the places every trip guide in the world mentions like every other tourist out there. I'd like to experience the country, culture and the people without the distorting lens of tourism (if even possible). Thanks in advance!
