Hello, i have a problem in mission 46, after seeing the two patients get shot, when i follow Ishmael into a door a nurse says "here" the helicopter should gun them down but at this moment the game freezes, i can't move and the sequence doesn't start.

It also happened in the prologue, i uninstalled every single mod and it worked, but now i hope i can fix it without uninstalling everything, any ideas?.

Basically I’m playing the game and for some reason every time I try to develop one of the items with the gold backgrounds (I assume online weapons) it says “could not develop due to resources/GMP in online inventory.” Yet I literally can’t get any more money on both the offline and online (also the weapon only requires GMP to make)

i'm going on vacation tommoro and really need to get my save file onto my deck. The cloud saving isn't functioning properly for some reason so i need to manually transfer the save file. If anyone can find an answer for me on the save file path it would really be doing me a solid. I tried looking myself but can't seem to locate it

Just wanted to share probably my dumbest yet most satisfying infiltration yet. Target was the Nova Braga Airport - heavily guarded, spotlights everywhere, and I decided "screw it, let's go full classic Snake."

No tranq gun. No D-Dog. Just me, my trusty box, and a magazine with a model on it. The number of times I had to slowly inch forward, drop the box, throw the magazine to distract a guard, then ninja-sprint to my box again was ridiculous. At one point I had three guards investigating the "mysterious sexy magazine" while I box-scooted past them like an idiot.

Mission accomplished: Zero alerts, all targets extracted, and I think I've peaked as a MGS player. 10/10 would box again.

I know they're funny, but they're not good at all for stealth. They're really loud, and just not suited for the type of combat most missions need. Is there any reason I would use one in a story mission over Quiet or D-Dog?

I know there's a lot of posts about this, but I have a sort of unique problem... I did everything to get it to activate - all the right side and main missions, upgraded my base enough, listened to the audiotapes, etc - and eventually triggered a call from Ocelot saying they were putting Huey to trial. The screen went black, the cutscene at Mother Base was loading-- and my power went out :/

Issues with a storm, I guess.

Anyway when I pulled the game up again I loaded in at the end of the side mission I had done just before the conscene but the mission was complete. No other side missions have triggered it either

As another note, Huey is still on base- so the events of the cutscene haven't been played out yet, it seems

Should I just keep doing side missions or is there a place I could go to fix this?

I have found lots of info and stuff to try, but I was curious if there was a consensus best in 2024? Thanks!

I just started playing MGSV - it’s my first time playing any MGS game and I’m enjoying most of it, but after 10 main missions and a few side missions I’m getting fed up of seeing the same areas again and again, the same bases and outposts, the same rocks and landscapes

I avoid reading walkthroughs and watching gameplay because I really don’t want any spoilers, but how much of this game takes place in Afghanistan?

mouse jitters a lot, especially when i try to move up, you can see it just stops. any way to fix this? also when panning/aiming it skips the same way, impossible to be accurate

I just extract a soldier with good skill and when returning to motherbase on the mission conclusion screen when newly added soldiers are shown, that soldier with high skill didn't show up. Only a guy with D rank. Is it just not displayed correctly sometimes?

as title I'm doing a AM D114-only playthrough, but need ideas on how to deal with stronger enemies.

For stronger enemies I mean, tanks, helicopters, skulls etc etc Basically, everything that isn't a simple mob.

I allowed myself to use consumables (granades etc...)

Keep in mind that it has to be LOUD only solution.

I know it's a crazy idea, but I hope someone can give me ideas.
