I’ve driven 193,000 km with the car, and I’ll soon be taking it in for service. The car has a manual transmission, so I’d like to know which parts would be the smartest to replace at the next service. Also, at how many kilometers did you replace the timing chain?
Thanks in advance!
Hello everyone, I am on the process of buying an used car. It’s a 2019 A-Class with around 180k Kilometers and looks almost new. The car stand has this “pack” that instead of 19.000€ ill pay around 21.000€ and they will paint it, clean it, and ensure that I am free of charge if any mechanical part of the car has a problem, so basically I will only be going to the mechanic for revisions etc… What do you think of this deal? Feel free to leave your honest opinion. Thank you :)
Had a glk 350 but now looking into a 07 s600 (160kmiles) or a 07 s550 (70kmikes) each around the same price but was wondering if from any experience which would u get? I know obliviously 70k miles car is smarter but I do want that v12.
I'm thinking about buying a PRE-FACELIFT C217 S-Coupe and only a few listings show the interior at night and I was curious if all of them have ambient lighting or was it an optional extra?
Hey everyone,
I’m trying to decide between the Mercedes-Benz GLE and GLS and want to know if there’s a real difference in second-row legroom when the seats are fully adjusted back. (both 2021 models)
The numbers don’t seem that far apart (40.9 inches for the GLE vs. 41.9 inches for the GLS). I know the GLS comes with standard sliding seats in the second row, and the GLE has them as an option. If you move the seats all the way back in both, does the GLE end up with similar legroom to the GLS? Or does the GLS still feel noticeably more spacious?
Would love to hear from anyone who’s tested or owns either of these models. Thanks for any insights!

Hello, I bought a 1970 220d manual 3 days ago that has been sitting barely used for 15 years. The parking brake isn't fully releasing anymore, the parking brake light still stays slightly dimmed on and I can feel the car dragging.
My question is, where should I start with it ? Should I remove the rear wheels and visually see what is happening, or try pulling on the parking brake cable instead ? Thank you, I am new to mercedes !
Anyone know what model this Mercedes Benz is in the video

Fell in love with this car on the test drive. Finished all the paper work and went to head back to work. It has 87,000 miles on it.
So the car was on E when I test drove it. And after they cleaned it and filled the tank I left. I just about made it back to work and when I was pressing the gas the whole car would shutter and be hesitant for a few seconds then go.
I got to work and called the salesman and asked if they put premium in when they filled it. He said let me look into it. He called back 2.5 hours later and admitted they put the wrong gas in it.
So I drove it back and the service manager drove it and felt the same thing I felt. They told me they will make it right and get it fixed and that if they can’t they will take it to the Mercedes dealership across the street. I bought it at a VW dealer.
What should I do!!?? I’m torn because I really want this car.
I have a gla250 that is about to reach its 4yr warranty mark in about 2-3 months. I don't think driving a Merc without a warranty is a nice idea. I had spoken to the dealership I had bought my car from few months back and they said they offer ~2k for a 1 yr warranty(abt 45k additional miles) and it looked quite expensive since I barely put 6K-7k yearly miles on my car.
Suggestions I am seeking is what warranty options have you taken for your Merc past 4yr standard warranty. Cost, miles and from where would be helpful.
Thank you in advance!
Had to park my W211 next to this newer C300
Recently, my local dealer removed the parts catalogue search feature from their website. Instead, they just have a phone number or ask you to fill out a form for parts requests. Not only do I find this extremely rude and inconvenient, it raises my cost for parts.
I can order from the MB USA website to get parts for local pickup at my dealership. The handling fee is $5 more, but no longer can I get the 10%-15% discounts I got for placing an online order through my dealership.
Do you guys know any way to get these discounts on OEM parts?
Spotted a rare model today!!!
Hey guys, just test drove an e250 cod from 2011 that I’m aiming to buy, any tips of things I should look for would be helpful, but there are two things Im concerned about, I drove the car at night, and the headlight seemed weak or maybe too low, what are the potential problems that it might have? Is there a bad worst case scenario?
Second thing, it has around 200000 km, if the auto gearbox wasn’t serviced yet, is it too bad?
If I get it it will be the first thing I’ll service.
Thx in advanced.
I'm looking to purchase new LED headlights for my W205. After some research, I'm still unsure which brand is considered the OEM supplier for Mercedes headlights. Is Hella the original supplier for Mercedes headlights, or are there other brands commonly recognized as OEM? Thank you.
