$250. Anybody free this Saturday Arvo in the CBD with a camera to take a few photos of me proposing to my partner. Not expecting anything too professional, just a couple pictures, $250 seem pretty fair
Hi, as the title suggests i'm looking for camera recommendations.
I know next to nothing about cameras and photography. So if all ya more experienced and knowledgeable folk could help me out it would mean a lot.
What I'm looking for in a camera:
I know this is probably asking a lot, I don't expect y'all to be able to match every single criteria, but if you can just recommend me something that would cover most of these criteria i would really appreciate it.
Has anyone ordered a camera that was back ordered off Ted’s? This month I ordered the G7x ( not looking for opinions ty) and it says it’s est delivery in May. Is this accurate?

I am producing a photo and video shoot with the top tennis players at the Australian Open starting on Jan 6th, and we are looking to get some coloured cubes created for the players to sit on / interact with on our set. We have our set design and facilities all sorted, we just now need to find someone who can build us 2-3 cubes in different colours based on the clients brand guidelines. Approx size of the cubes / rectangle boxes would be 2x2ft, 3x3ft and 2x4ft. But we are also open to suggestions! Also a printer who might be able to print vinyl like material to glue on to the boxes...
Also on that note, needing some extra gear rentals and looking for a local photog who might be willing to rent us theirs for a few days, as most equipment rentals are closed or the holiday. List is...
Profoto Pro D3 (Head) x2
Profoto Octa (Softbox) x1
Profoto Zoom (Reflector) x1
Profoto Connect (Remote) x1
Set of CTO Gels x1
Thank you so much!! Any info or recs is much appreciated.
Not quite Melbourne but still in Vic!
Hi all,
I have hundreds of film photos stored on my laptop that I am wanting to print and put in albums. I have previously printed out photos (4 x 6 inch) at officeworks (0.15c per piece), however I feel like the quality is a bit average and the photos seem much darker than on my laptop.
Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for services in Melbourne (or online with Melbourne pick-up or shipping) that are of similar price and decent quality?
Thank you in advance :-)
