What’s the craic. I have no immediate plans to go over to Melbourne but would like to start thinking of it in the not so distant future. I do solo gigs and busk here in Ireland and am wondering what the opportunities are like for this in Melbourne? Is there many gig opportunities for a musician to sustain themselves comfortably playing a few nights a week? I have played in Irish bars abroad so I feel like being Irish will help in that sense. Is the pay decent for solo gigs ? Any info would be class 🙏

Recently arrived in Melbourne from Ireland. I’m a hip-hop artist and looking to get started in the music scene around here. Back in the early 2000s there was a rap/hip-hop band called The Melodics. They released a few EPs and an album or two, I think. They had their final show in 2011. Some of their stuff is still available on streaming sites, but for the life of me I cannot find a single audio recording of the song, purchasable or downloadable copy of the song or even helpful information on how to find a copy of the song. I've reached out to two people who were in the band, but haven't had a reply. Also reached out to their facebook page. They've read it but haven't replied.The song, is their first EP, 'Naughts n Crosses'. It's been approx 14 years since I actually heard it last, but here are the lyrics as best as I can remember;

hey so earlier today i was looking on ticketmaster and i was thinking of buying travis scott tickets for night 2 & there were so many tickets on sale for $50 but when i looked 5 mins ago they were all gone? like there were over 100 different resellers trying to sell their tickets, surely they havent all been sold????? like everything is wiped clean- no vip tickets and no general tickets? im really confused because theres so many tickets still available for tonight (the show is currently on) pls someone help i feel like such an idiot
