I have met a few other working holiday visa musicians and I was wondering if there were places you could rent out to jam that come with the instruments.
I’m not sure if anything like this exists as I imagine it’s a small market but let me know if you guys know of anything!
Based on Fitzroy

I’ve been looking at lots of different record stores around Melbourne and have not found one that sells any yung lean albums except starz sometimes, so I just wanted to know if anyone knows if there are any that sell stranger.
Just looking to grab a few records and found they're way cheaper than my local for a few. Has anyone purchased from them in the past? Don't trust the Trustpilot reviews because they're often bloated with fake responses.
Edit: Yes i used the search-bar here it was inconclusive
Is there anywhere in Melbourne that regularly hosts gigs with electronic artists showcasing their work? Like not a club, more like a smaller venue for experimental, ambient or just sample based productions.
I've heard her talking music and singing on the Tram briefly in Melbourne for a few years now, does anyone know who she is?

Looking for another femme presenting (or transmasc) half-crazed sex demon to play lead guitar for LVC. We want to put on deranged and debauched shows with solid music to back it up. In terms of genre, think grunge meets industrial meets doom metal. Dark, angry, heavy, horny.
Ad intensity aside I'm very friendly! If you or someone you know may be interested, send me a message to hear some early demos and we can arrange a jam. Located in Coburg.

I am looking for a drummer and a singer to write some new material and possibly play live at some point.I am dropping a link of some new stuff I have been writing it just needs vocal and drums added to it.
I live in western suburbs Melbourne.
For a live line up I'm just happy doing a three piece with vocals, guitar and drums, but would also be open to getting a bassist and some one to play synth/sequencers as well.

I'm conducting a research study on how music and sound affect stress levels and looking for participants from Melbourne Australia (18+). The short 15–20 minute survey is completely anonymous and involves listening to music/sounds or creating a 3-song playlist before answering questions on stress and anxiety. Your participation will help expand our understanding of music’s impact on well-being across different regions of Australia.

Hello I am a year 10 from melb (obviously) and am looking for experience advice. I have applied to triple r and am looking to focus in the music industry. I would love to do it at triple m considering they focus around rock/alt/metal music and that is a big interest for me.
Can anyone help me out?
So the Mods at r/melbourne took this down and suggested I try the more nefarious MelbourneAfterDark sub....
Here's hoping this gets out there and reaches the right people

You were with a group of girlfriends, about 6, all having a blast.
I was tall, cap and sunnies; you were shorter, grey(?) shorts, red/pink singlet top and large hoop earnings. We smiled plenty, but yours was better then mine.
At the end I should have said hey 👋🏻 but alas 😕
Here's to you and hopefully you hit me up

Hi all! I'm just trying to get an overall understanding here.
What are you charging as an artist when you play, and for how long?
And are you a solo act, or are you splitting this amount amongst a band?
Thanks :)
Hi guys, I've been a fan of these genres for a while but i just never really thought that there would actually be a scene for stuff like that in out city down under. I wNt to start seeing some more live performances of music that I resonate more with so u would prefer for bands that are still active but I'm always down to hear new music regardless!
I've got two tickets for tonight at the Myer Music bowl but can’t make it. They are in the seated area so will be good spots.

First time going to Australia to see a band, and last night (reading older posts in reddit) found out that apparently this place is quite criticised ( well, more than criticised). From being too hot, only having one exit, sticky floors, dirty toilets, seats being to hard, etc... So i bought tickets in the seating area (because of medical reasons I need to be seated) and was wondering if taking self inflatable cushions will be something that will cause issues with the security of the place. They do not specify anything in their website about this. Also they said you can bring your own commercial bottle of water if less than 600ml but read on reviews some people had issues with this. What is your experience? Has anyone tried this? Thank you.
The International Ghostrider Collective are a planet wide virtual band with members from The Netherlands, Spain, UK, Italy, France & Tasmania. If you like this track please share it around.
