My uncle offered to sell me his 2nd gen speed for about $1000. As far as I know, all his repairs/maintenance have been done at either the shops and dealership. The car has around 188k miles on it though. I also have money saved up for repairs. So would this be a good buy for a daily?

I've recently had a light rattle/knocking noise when accelerating. The engine sounds relatively normal with idle, only when I press the gas pedal. Today when driving home, I leaned into it a little more than usual and the sound got much worse. No new check engine lights and no large knocks registering on my AP. Any ideas or help would be appreciated!
I bought a speed3 about a year ago and it had a tune on it but the aaccessport was stolen. I bought a new accessport a few days ago and installed it, permanently removing the other tune and now my idle has gone from 1100 to 850 and everytime I come to a stop it feels like it's going to stall out because of low idle. My only thought would be that the previous tune was custom but why does it try to stall when I come to a stop?

Hey yall! I’m stuck.
I’ve got a nasty clunking noise over any bumps that’s coming from the front.
I’ve replaced both control arms, and struts, and checked end links and tie rods for play but the seemed normal.
What could it be?
Anyone know what this could be causing my throttle on my 07 Mazda speed 3 100% stock btw to cut out randomly
Already replace throttle body and cleaned intake system with all new plugs and a coils
I’m the Second owner of a 07 msp3 first owner blew the motor so he rebuilt it brand new everything with a tune, engine currently sitting at 22,000kms and all 4 of my cylinders have coolant in the bottom I’ve been told to just drop a new motor in it but was wondering if anyone had any ideas, I’m not sure if my cylinder head is warped or not have had no signs of overheating
About a year ago purchased my speed3 and got it dyno tuned. After tuning I replaced the turbo with the exact same turbo (cts4 from cork sport) to try and fix burning oil. Turned out to not be the turbo but I already installed it and left it alone. Been driving the car like normal since then. Every thing on the old turbo is the exact same components on the new turbo nothing has changed or been messed with. Car is only making around 12psi peak boost( 4th gear pull to redline) supposed to cap at 20 psi, was making 20psi before new turbo now it won’t go past 12psi Not sure what the issue is. Not sure if I installed something wrong or what the problem is. If someone could help that would be amazing! Parts

Hi everyone I recently purchased a CX7 2.3 Turbo Speed engined suv which is being a nightmare I replaced chain and vvt with Cloyes chain and Dorman VVT lesson learned it failed after only 1000km
Now I ordered all genuine from PartSouq, My question is should i replace the vvt oil control valve as well? The vvt solenoid? Can that cause the new vvt to fail so quickly?
To mention it does have cyl 3 misfire on cold starts only i cannot notice it as it does not throw a code or engine light i can see it when i log the computer for misfire counts and it is only when the engine is cold like 20 to 60 misfire counts then nothing when driving hot.
I dont see any smoke or oil consumption, i did order new injector seals, fuel pressure relief valve too because i checked the fuel pressure on idle it is 417psi but when i turn off and then key on the fuel pressure comes up till 1020 then starts dropping which I read that should only start dropping after 1800psi
The car is canadian and has 207,000 KM on it
Please give advice on what should I do to prevent the new vvt from failing again. I use 5W40 Pennzoil platinum euro for oil
