After receiving surgery to remove a cancerous growth in my large intestine I decided to dedicate my model to the excellent surgeons in the NHS. May they be as successful as breathing new life into people as Dr McMourning himself.

We're doing character creation for an upcoming game and a player wants to be a hand-to-hand combatant but I can't find any information on how to represent the range, damage and associated skills like with other weapons.

I was assembling the 3e Ophelia and own the 1e version and it was super interesting to me how different they are.

I've been playing a lot of Marshall's while I introduce players to the game.

The biggest issue I have been running into was lack of mobility (Lone Rider aside) and looked at potential solutions.

The orderlies from Asylum look good for scheme running and Bracer / Captain Dura from the starter also looks capable while having mobility.

Plus adding shielded to Death Marshalls looks like it will make them tough as nails.

Has anyone got some experience with Asylum and Vanguard? I'm interested in your feedback.

EDIT I am fairly new to the game, having only played 3e a handful of times, so some coaching is welcomed.

I was talking with a buddy of mine about getting into Malifaux, and we played a few practice games. Jakob lynch Vs Parker Barrows, Colette De’ bous Vs Jack Daw, then Dashel Barker Vs The Dreamer. After the three game I was convinced that we should play, but he raised the complaint that the balance of Malifaux seems a bit like your ability’s are great, but really hard to get off, as apposed to weaker abilities that go off reliably. Is this common throughout the whole game? Or did we pick characters that were just focused around weakening the enemy? Still want to get into Malifaux, was just curious!

1. Do they stack? For example, if create a web token inside a severe terrain would a unit move 4 times slower in there?
2. What percentage of the play area is it fair to be severe/hazardous terrain?

I Wanne buy the master Lady of justice from the guild is she a good starter???

In relatively new to the game but have heard great things about the lore. I’m on the road a lot so a podcast would be great! Anyone have any recs?

I maybe Wanne buy a malifaux crew. Where can I find a good starting point any YouTube guides or other media I can check.

So, I'v been posting here a little bit lately. I'm getting back into Malifaux after not playing for like 8+ years and the crew I had was Ophelia Lacroix and I had her M2e Crew Box, And a couple of other models. Now for M3e her Core Box has been changed and it contains a bunch of models I have, Plus 3 Lacroix Raiders I dont have.

I was worried I'd have to get the core box and thus rebut a bunch of stuff I have to get the 3 Lacroix Raiders but the other day I found in the local store a Lacroix Raiders Special Order box, Just the 3 Lacroix Raiders! So I bought it and now I got the 3 Lacroix Raiders I needed to complete my crew. :D

Man, Malifaux models are fiddly to assemble when I have not built any models in ages... XD But one down and two to go!

Hi all, I am new to Malifaux. Funnily, I discovered it through the recent Miniac video where he painted the alternate, piratical version of Molly. It took me some googling to figure out what the set even was, or what a Nightmare Edition is. I see now that they are limited release alternative cosmetic versions of existing bands.

I would love to pick this set up eventually. Do you know if these versions ever cycle back into the store?

As a side note, it's almost kind of unfortunate that Malifaux got showcased using a set that isn't even available right now, but I think that was just random luck. I wouldn't be surprised if a chunk of that video's audiences went on the exact same journey as me yesterday. "That's a cool model. It's for Malifaux? Could I pick up that set? No? Damn."

(That said, it did cause me to check out the rest of the game and factions, though. I picked up the Day of the Dead Lady Justice, and am very excited to paint them. After I round out the Marshal keyword, I also plan to pick up Tiri, and Linh Ly, eventually. Absolutely incredible designs.)

Just got my next resin printer, but looking at the minis in Malifaux I don't think any online stls can match up. These minis are just so perfect, full of character and detail, so much so that I can't really see any better alternatives. Kind of sad, makes the printer a worse investment, but at least I could print terrain for the game right?

I am preparing a demo for a friend and I need some advice. It would be a 40SS game he playing frontier and me nightmare. He has played a lot of wargames and I think he will catch the rules quick. What strategy and schemes would be good for a first game? The crews are the following:

I just bought the Beware the Lights box because I'm a sucker's for evils kids and spirits haunting/threatening kids. However I wanted to see if I could use the Oberling (or the Konderbaum) as an alternative model for the Dreamer? It felt like a neat way to have a kid form Dreamer, Insomnia.

Hello, I'm thinking about getting into Malifaux and want to do get into last blossom/ten thunders.

I'm for sure getting the ten thunders starter set and hidden aliances for Misaki Fractured.

I'm mostly wondering about the Misaki core box. The wyrd website store is out of the 3e printing of the Misaki Core box but has the 2e printing. I understand that the 2e box won't come with cards. Thats not a big issue for me because I play on using the App most of the time or I heard there are ways to order just the cards.

Are there any differences or anything I would be missing by buying the 2e box instead of the 3e? I know the models are posed different but I can't see anything different Crew wise.

I'm posting just to make sure i'm not overlooking something.

EDIT: Also if I wanted to pick up themed bases from wyrd all of the models would use the 30mm bases? I'm relatively new to wargaming and want to double check. TIA again.

This is a question out of curiosity! So, I'm just getting back into Malifaux, Played a bit in the middle of M2e with my Ophelia crew and now I'm gettig back in and will try to relearn the game with Ophela and her Kin before I pick out what Masters I wanna learn.

But I wanted to ask here, What is your favorite Master/Keyword? And why do you like them so much?
