From time to time, this question seems to pop up, or at least variations of it. Is there somewhere I can go to find story scenarios for M3E? I've purchased all the gaining grounds cards, but I'd love to know if there's a way to introduce new players to the setting while also introducing them to the game.

For the Rezzers: I assembled Emeline Bellerose, and Miss Feasance. Kirai and all her ghostly friends from the Road starter are now on bases.

For Neverborn: I finished the puppet show box, the juvenile delinquent box, hooded rider, hinamatsu, the effigy/emissary, Serena Bowman, and one of the insidious madnesses. Pandora complete crew is in paint. Just assembled Pandora 2, so she isn’t at paint …

For Explorers Society: I’ve finished the Forge a New Path box, Tiri (need to finish the rest of the box) all 3 Cadmus boxes, the Damned, Mikhail, Sophie and 1 lamplighter. Winona Finnegan also done.

For the Arcanists: Alt Carlos and Alt Performer are done, along with Colette 2.

For Outcasts: all 3 Oblivion boxes done and at paint, Emissary, effigy, and a hand full of others also at paint.

For Guild: 33 and Lady J 2, Sonnia 2 and iconic lady j and Sonnia are at paint. Based the Guild Mage I liked best and a gattling gunner.

I was looking for good options to add to my Oni crew and found this model listed in the app. I don't see anything about it... basically anywhere else, no box, no news, no pictures. What's up with that, is it supposed to come out in the future? I want the birb :<

Any recommendations for people who explain the lore? I've never played and just learned this game existed. I found Breachside Broadcast but he seems to focus on the actual stories within the world. Which is fine if I already had a good grasp on the lore but I don't.

Question? How do you guys store your crew cards. They're tarot sized and while I can find sleeves for them, I haven't found a good box or other solution, so I thought I'd ask the audience!

What do you do? What works? What doesn't?

I'm looking for a master who uses fire and so far I've only found these three. Can anyone describe the difference to me? I hope it's fun to play both the original and the title version! I tried Reva, and I found that her own keyword units were not very practical. She seemed to rely on universal units and ook.

Hi everyone! Looking to get into some of the lore and found out about the podcast. Seeing as episodes date back to 2015 and first edition I was wondering if anyone could provide some insight on if it's necessary to start at the very beginning or if there is a better starting point. I'm not sure when third edition comes into the podcast. Also let me know your favourite lore tidbit if you have one!

I played a game recently where I used Euri's Absolute Zero ability on a Kaltgeist to deal 2 damage to it, due to Icy Form, and then heal 1 back using the Absolute Zero text that allows you to heal 1 when removing a marker.

I wanted to check if that's a legal move. I just read the cards and the Kaltgeist's icy form technically says "if it would be removed this way, instead deal 2 irreducible damage". It's the word "instead" that makes me question if Euri's ability triggers, since it sounds like technically no removal of markers actually happened.

Curious to know what the community here thinks:)

Also, this is unrelated to the above but can hepatomancy be used on allied models' simple duels? Card just says duel but doesn't specify opposed.

Hi everyone. I've decided to get 2 more masters to have more play styles available and to have more teams to let other people try the game. My current 2 masters are Dreamer and nexus. What would you guys reccomended for my next 2?

Savage and December are both crews that love themselves some Ice Pillars.

I have played plenty of Raspy1, no Raspy2 or Savage and so I know how she likes to throw up pillars to block routes and cut off pieces.

But I've been reading up on Savage and they REALLY like to throw the pillars around. Or explode out of them. Or gain shielded from them...

What I'm curious about is how the matchup fares.

Is one side at a particular disadvantage? I feel like December is much more capable of creating the pillars, but does that just give Savage more to play with?

Does it come down to letting the opponent spend AP to make pillars and then capitalising on it?

I would love to hear from anyone that has played either side of the matchup and can tell me how it went.

I am still a beginner in malifaux, but would like to expand my malifaux pile and add something to the single keyword i have (Angler). Since malifaux seems to have a strong rock-paper-scissors principle with most keywords having several counters and several countered other keywords, i would like to get a more general feeling for "What is good / bad against what". Of course this is something that is mainly learned by experience, which i still lack a lot of, and thats why i would like to ask you some questions:

1. Is there some resource where you can look up interactions like this? Like a website with a keyword-vs-keyword matrix and how balanced or countering they are?
2. Specifically for my current play group, do you see heavy countering anywhere? We have Nekima 1, Linh Ly 1, Linh Ly 2, Clampetts 1, Lady Justice 1, and Misaki 1
3. Since i want to expand my collection, which other bayou keywords do you think are complementary to the angler one? I am very interested in brewmaster and mah, and somewhat interested in zipp; are any of those three good alternatives?
