So if that would become a law, on an EU wide level perhaps, how would they enforce this? By requiring an ID for everyone over 16?
If that would mean that you'd have to provide your ID to access Instagram, FB, Youtube, Reddit, X, etc, then i hope that you see to which problem that would lead..
A man known as Josip Curcic was sentenced to a prison sentence in a Luxembourg prison and upon his release took on the name Josip Heit.m, which is his wife’s last name. She is a German born native but the niece of a Russian arms dealer. I can not access the court prison files for Josip’s crimes. If anyone could help I would appreciate it. He is currently under investigation in multiple countries.
Merci d’avance
I saw someone at the Wantermaart with a carton of eggnog in their coat pocket and it felt like a celebrity sighting (I’m visiting). 🥰

Emma-Lou Becca tracks down thieves in €2.5 million designer bag heist
Emma-Lou Becca, the 21-year-old daughter of Luxembourg real estate tycoon Flavio Becca, became the victim of a large-scale burglary in March, with jewellery, watches, and 40 designer bags stolen from her Munich apartment. The items, including several Hermès bags, are said to have a combined value of €2.5 million.
However, the young Luxembourger was able to help catch the perpetrators after noticing that her bluetooth headphones were left in one of the bags which she was subsequently able to trace and locate online. Police were thus able to apprehend three suspects in Ingolstadt – a 21-year-old man and two women, aged 39 and 43. All three are currently in pre-trial detention with the trial scheduled to start this week, according to Bild.
Is there an incentive for Big Giants to always outsource rather thank keep positions in Luxembourg or Switzerland etc... ?
Hi. I am developing a side hustle. I need to declare myself for VAT. But on MyGuichet I see 4 options:
"Value added tax - Initial Déclaration (ICA) Natural Persons" "Value added tax - Initial Déclaration (ICA) Legal Persons" "Value added tax - Initial Déclaration Natural Persons" "Value added tax - Initial Déclaration Legal Persons"
What is "ICA"? I am not going to create a SARL-S yet. Which one shall I choose?
Thank you

Hi all,
We are completing our tax return and I am a bit stressed about one thing. I need to declare the sale of a property abroad (via model 700). I understand we must provide proof of the purchase price, but the title deed is not in one of the official languages. Is it enough to provide a certified self-translation, or is a sworn translator required? The document doesn’t specify what to do in that case.
I’d appreciate hearing your experience. Thank you!
Hello, I'm planning on buying an item worth 450€ and the seller wanted to meet up at a Q8 Gas Station in Dudelange at 19:00. Should I be worried?
Hello. I have a bunch of small change accumulating something to 100€ by now. Do you know if I can get those to a bank and they can give me like notes instead of hundreds of coins that I currently have ?
Curious if it's LUXXXXXXXXXXXXXX account or other, for banking secrecy
I didn't know this actually exists!
I was wondering whether clients living in Luxembourg receive a Luxembourgish or a German account? Considering aspects such as banking secrecy, a Luxembourgish account might offer certain advantages.
Hello all, I moved to Lux early this year and rented an apartment in June. I have this clause in my rental agreement and I am wondering how strict this clause is. I was naïve enough to think it was flexible if I keep the apartment clean, but now I am questioning it after reading a lot of posts here. If I want to move out after a year, is it mandatory to repaint the whole apartment even if there are no major stains, wear and tear?
Hello everyone, I’m considering setting up a private pension plan in Luxembourg (Third pillar) for the tax benefits, and I’m looking for the best option / bank to go with. Since the tax deductions are the same everywhere, I guess interested in recommendations based on other factors such as fees, performance, transparency. Which providers or plans do you think is best?
Any personal experiences or tips would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance!
Hello, my blinds broke. A string that is holding them to the retractor snapped.
Does anyone have a vendor they've used? Prefer English.
Thank you!
