I was looking to buy a brawn gp MOC from Lucasdesigns and he recommended me to buy from lesdiy but later he told me the quality wasn't great do any of you have experience with the quality of lesdiy MOCS I also found his MOC on a sight called Turbomoc for slightly cheaper and it says it has high quality pieces but I don't know if it's a scam or not could any of you offer advice
Recently (like 3 days ago) I got the formula E McLaren set (42169) and they provided 2 motors in the build, which got me wondering if an All wheel drive rebuild was possible. So would a kind user please help me out with this one 😞 I don't mind if the steering doesn't work btw.
Also, this is what I got so far, I'm still trying to figure stuff out lol.
Hello All,
Newbie to the the group....
I am working on a Star Wars Diorama. Part of it has 3 asteroids that are currently planted stationary on 12L transparent rods throughout diorama - Think "Rocks on a stick", lol.
I want to create some movement like it’s rolling thru space while still maintain a stationary position. The movement needs to be BOTH up and down and turning 360 degrees in place. I’ve seen examples of the up and down movement using lift arms but the motor switch needs to be flipped in reverse to bring it down again. I’ve also seen separate examples of the use of a worm gear and/or Cams to get the rotation motion I seek to but again bringing it down is the issue. Trying to combine both the up and down and spinning movements simultaneously with a combo of gears that are no higher than 3 bricks other than the rod itself showing above board.
I am going crazy trying to figure it out. Ima a total newbie to the technic world and I am lost after looking at tons of videos. Any help with illustrating how to accomplish this would be super helpful! Thank you in advance!
A few years ago, I went through a brief period of unemployment, and bought a Lego Mindstorms and a couple of Lego Power Functions kits. I have not touched this stuff in a while, because I have been working 60-hour weeks for a while. I have had dreams of making something like Lego 42009 (or something similar, like the dump truck) and controlling it with the Mindstorms controller.
I have done some checking on the state of advanced Lego, and I noticed that Power Functions has been replaced by something called "Power Up". With let another type of connector??? That makes three: Mindstorms, Power Functions, and Power Up. Why couldn't Lego pick a connector and stick with it? The way I see it, the Mindstorms connector should have worked great with their Power Up motors, with the built-in sensors. Anyway, is there ANY way to use the Power Up motors with a the Mindstorms controller brick?
I have an interview coming up in which I have to give a presentation.
One part of the presentation is to ‘tell us how you would utilise and promote Lego Spike to the community’.
The context being that in the role I would be conducted workshops/events often involving children.
Any insight as to what Lego Spike actually is would be greatly appreciated!
Hackers are trying to screw over buyers. The prices got massively inflated. The website got hacked again. When the prices don't look right. Just know it's been hacked. Multiple sets are being listed for $699.99 and other sets are also being massively inflated. Buyers beware. I wouldn't shop on the site until its fixed, instead call to place to your order.
Hi!
I'm completely new to Powered Up functions and I'm so frustrated at the moment.
I built the Bobcat tracked skid steer but I can't figure out how to code it :(
I managed to get the boom lift and tilt to work, but I'm unable to find the right code so that the tracks behave as they should. I'm using the Boost Lpf2 Hub Motor as the power source for the tracks.
Can someone, please help me with some code examples?
Thank you so much :)
In my area costco has it for $430, but i have recently found an online only $100 dollar gift card. Is it worth it?
I’ve gotta say, the suspension setup on this model is seriously impressive. That said, I don’t think it’ll stay this way for long—I’m already thinking about swapping it out for a 2-axle design to cut down on weight.
Any recommendations for other MOCs with this kind of detail?
Basically I want to make a controller.
I'm hoping someone can help me. I bought the 8880 set used and I think there is an issue with the 1x6 link piece which is used to connect the rack steering to the wheels.
The 1x6 link pieces seem to be too small and so the wheels are never perpendicular. I kept going assuimg the suspension might resolve it but it hasn't. It's really off.
Have I done something wrong or is the piece wrong (should it be a longer link piece?)
I can't find a legitimate part list.
I thought I was just going to experiment a bit today, but am pleased how this one has turned out with its cheeky COG shift technique! I’d like it to be faster but I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a fast Lego biped!
