Hi everyone! As you’ve read from the title, i have a question about the masterpiece that is Akashi Seijuro’s personal ost (you know, the epic one with the chorus that occasionally plays during Rakuzan matches). Do any of you know the “lyrics” of this? I tried to figure out myself what the chorus is singing but have absolutely no idea. Thank you!
Kyoshi- Jokic/Bill Walton. Centers with good passing.
Kagami- Lebron James. I think it's because they are both known for going into the zone. They are both good passers. Especially kagami with true zone. Also amazing dunkers.
Murasakibara- Shaq. Both extremely massive men that have some of the strongest dunks in their league. Both are extremely physical and good blockers.
Who next?
I have looked trough like 50 different videos and can’t find this ost s1 ep19 6:50 it sounded like iridachi but it’snot the one
Aside from the GOM I think Kagami is one and Haizaki but he’s a failed prodigy
So the starting 5 (I don’t think Kuroko is a prodigy but he’s the gatekeeper to being one) Kagami and Haizaki so 7
Do I have to rant off again or do y’all know he’s clearly GOM level
Remaining player: Tsuguwa
Will still stick to their identity mixed martial arts imcorporated into basketball the former seiho coach has decided to retire and pass on the coaching to his grandson
They recruited 3 players all with mixed martial arts background 2 of them were teammates in middle school*, adding martial arts to mix with namba expanding variety
PG:Boxing, Jeet-kwon do , he is an elite onball defender and pickpocket, with his boxing footwork his weaving, and movement translates into basketball on offense crafty finisher jalen brunson like,
Jeet Kune Do teaches that the best defense is a strong offense, gets steals and turn it into offense, "To reach me, you must move to me. Your attack offers me an opportunity to intercept you"
him and tsugawa will learn from each other*, decision making, opponent tendency reading is also sharp and keen, decent shooter
Height: 6 0 player model: alvin robertson and jalen brunson
SG: Ninjutsu, character inspired by otoya eiya from blue lock**, stealthy ninja footsteps, agile, off the ball blur, moves: floater, layups, off ball threes, stealthy thief similar to kuroko but different
Non recruited*
Height: 6'1 player model: tony parker and marco bellinelli
SF: Tsuguwa- namba style, ok balancing, conservative stamina movement, foul baity generating defensive stance and skill, as a base it's a bit flawed against shiftiness he stumbles, predictable movement, on ball steals and blocks something he don't really get much he is pesky, prevents scoring opportunities and intercept passes, adding boxing and Jeet-kwon do with his namba will improve his defense and truly make him near elite or elite
PF: Karate, Judo- wise in positioning, body weight direction, precision and technicality, he was a teammate of PG*, elite, rebounding, ultra precise hands great lateral can defend 1-5, smart scorer, shooter, efficient, leadership qualities and highly disciplined individual
Height: 6 3, player model: mikal bridges, a bit of bill russell
C: Wrestling with rugby background, rebounding, power type, decent pace and flexibility despite muscular frame, knack for intercepting passes
Height: 6 4, player model: plumlee handles, naz reid layups, drummond inside presence and rebounding
All 5 learning namba style too, a 5 man that is adept in drawing fouls/charge is honestly a headache
The offense is revised high level team ball movement, steals into offense, each player has talents*, team length is taller, team defense is more formidable
They're not beating any GOM teams, but atleast they can become an iconic, team, culture, team with identity and desirable basketball club destination
Saw the show before on Netflix but never really considered watching it until I saw a reel that peaked my interest with Kurokos lack of presence. That was about a month ago, and I just finished the second to last episode. One hell of a ride seeing everyone get stronger and come together to work together as a team with their bond. I don’t watch basketball or any sports irl but this has motivated he a hit to start. Almost started crying after they won the last match Will definitely be reading the manga after I finish because I thought there was going to be a whole other season but nah.
Love the show but found it funny that everyone someone pulled out some move everyone would be wide mouth gasoing
We all know Aomine is one of the best players in the series.
But if you could trade one player to his team with no exception, which player would be Aomine’s best teammate? I am talking about like Jordan and Pippen duo.
I used to love kagami but now I hate him, why? Because he has more plot armor then ash fckin Ketchum from palet town. You mean to say to me that a prodigy like Aomine get beaten by a red haired Bakugo who 'entered' the zone and now can dribble like aomine and shoot! I also like Musarakibara (sorry if i misspelled his name it's hard) more than kagami, yes people say his play style is boring but at least it's a bit balance, he can only dunk and play defense but red haired bakugo here can suddenly float shoot three's and block a dunk from a 6'10 centre and this mf is 6'4! I swear man I love kagami when he still make sense but know his ability isn't jumping high its being the author favorite character.
Sorry for yapping so long enjoy your day.
There are a lotss of people who say Kuroko cant enter the Zone at all.
I dont know how much is this accurate. But I have watched till the end of season 2, and I have an observation. I'll jump straight to the point : Isn't Kuroko always subconciously in Zone?
Like, think about it : You need to be a prodigy, you need to love basketball, you have to have talent - these are the requirements, right?
He loves basketball for sure
He has a unique talent of passing, something almost no one has and in very short terms : he is the ultimate playmaker, even in-Zone Kagami has to sometimes rely on the passes of Kuroko for a dunk (proof, season 2 last episode).
He is ofcourse a prodigy. He is the foundation of GOM.
Now, what exactly happens in Zone? Basically a player do not have any idle thoughts other than the game. Everything goes according to what the in-zone player has to go with.
Kuroko has suppressed his feelings, his ability to show emotions. Thats why he has that unshakable focus of the game. Whenever he has the ball, even if it is for a split second, he sees nothing but the player to pass and the tragectory on which he sends the ball - basically whenever he has the ball the entire gameplay goes according to what he expects. Whenever he goes in for his Vanushing Drive, all he sees is the player to go through, keep a keen notice, whenever he goes in for his drive - the screen either turns black or very bright, as if other players are not in his vision. He has made himself like that by suppressing his ability to express emotions, so that he possibly cannot have any idle thoughts and emotions in mid-game.
Isn't this theoritcally Zone properties? Like even for his Vanishing shoot : All he sees is the player to whom it is suppose to vanish, the hoop and the ball. Everytime he shoots, the screen on the edge starts to dim like a shadow as if to him, the other players are not even there.
So is he playing in-Zone, subconciously, THIS ENTIRE TIME? AND THIS IS WHAT MAKES HIM A PRODIGY.... WHENEVER HE PLAYS, HE IS ALWAYS IN-ZONE - Something which is even hard for other GOM members like Aomine.
Only then it would make sense why Aomine said to Hanamiya during the match of Seirin vs Kirisaki Daichi : "You are going to lose, because you made Tetsu angry" .
Heyyy y’all! I want to know more about other peoples opinions can you answer that?
Who is your fav knb character? Why?
Who’s the strongest GOM character?
Who are the most overrated and underrated characters??
Which teams is your favorite?????
Do you know how to find items because I really like this manga🫢
I just rewatched the entire series and the answer to me is either midorima or kise
Other characters were mostly sold out. Other players in basketball uniform were Akashi and Yukio. There was Kagami in school uniform carrying groceries and Midorima in school uniform sitting on a fence but that's about all
If the GOM never existed, which players would have dominated the sport?
Yukio Kasamatsu vs Kazunari Takao, what do ya think, who's a better player and why?
Aomine is ambidextrous (game against kagami when he gave him shoes), formless shot, trickshot maker, just chuck the ball and it goes in
The new move to add in his arsenal I call it "Omni throw", a new move he created inspired by kareem abdul jabbars sky hook its a hook shot from the 3point area to deeper near half court/also midrange its a throw thrown at ultra fast speed release with full grip and power, he can also occasionally hit from full court (https://youtu.be/zBlCQbUekvA?si=0P8KSVXUVtiVwNnw)
Examples: https://youtube.com/shorts/RLLkMzmpuSQ?si=29IRjNBxS4CqKSGH This one is stationary*
https://youtube.com/shorts/MEmwzk74-H0?si=1-KtNeYLiwqADQQE This one is slower*
It can be added into a catch wrap around fake into a pivot spin switch to the other hand hook shot or if he has the ball off the dribble switcheroo to the other hand
His shot against seirin falling out of bounds twisting body hoist behind the backboad and against jabberwock contorting fade to the side throw the backboard are harder shot are way harder and impossible shots to make compared to this omni throw which in irl can be done
My team name is sword of wisdom, we play street ball if you couldn't tell lol
Obviously we see the whole show thru seriens perspective. But if u had to choose another team which would it be. For me its shutoku. In the rakuzen game. Seeing the upperclassmen and then takao and midorimas back story got to me pretty good. Really wish they had a mini series or something on them😭😭😭
Just back from my hols in Japan and thought I’d share my Kuroko no Baske Merch purchases! I had such fun searching for these items, in Tokyo I couldn’t find a lot, but in Osaka I hit jackpot in one shop ☺️
Hey this post is for you guys to creat your own team. I thought this would be fun. Its really simple as you just have to click the links below for each position starting five and bench players and then spin the wheel.
Point Guard: https://wheelofnames.com/x3t-wx9
Shooting Guard: https://wheelofnames.com/2h8-566
Small Foward: https://wheelofnames.com/zsa-dsc
Power Forward: https://wheelofnames.com/qkp-n7e
Center: https://wheelofnames.com/yn3-s6a
10 Bench Players: https://wheelofnames.com/2qr-w2j
Coach/Manager: https://wheelofnames.com/zsg-9h7
PS: If you have players double like in the starting five and bench then you just have to spin again. Leave a comment which team you got and how you find this concept
How would you scale him? Do you think Kagami would have beaten him? Do you think his game against Kise would have went differently? Would y'all still scale him as the weakest of the GOM?
