What do you think classmates and teachers of Midorima think of his hand tape?

Kise only played basketball when he was in junior high year. Yet he still achieve the title of GOM, able to impress others people with his skills. In the end of the day, Kise was able to go toe to toe with GOM. What can Kise achieve if he were to play basketball since adolescent.

Koganei only played basketball in his high school as a first year, right? Sorry I don't remember much. Koganei is just average player at basketball with 1 year training yet he has animal instinct. But he was not that athletic even though he played other sports. He changed his mind all the time until he met basket. I don't understand koganei. What if he stick to basketball since adolescent.

How strong would he be in Kuroko no basket and last game.

So me and my brother are huge Kuroko no basuke fans and I have been working on a nba2k roster that’s based on the anime as a surprise for him (we haven’t seen each other for months as he has been in another country for a student exchange).

Anyways I really struggled at first so I decided to rewatch the show to refresh my memory but despite rewatching I am still struggling with all the GOM members atributes, mainly the athleticism ones as all GOM (except Kuroko) are super athletic and so there isn’t much separating them when it comes to athleticism which just makes their atributes harder to grade/rank. Basically these are all the attributes at question:

-Speed -Acceleration -Lateral quickness -Strength -Vertical jump

and I would really appreciate if anyone could give a rating from 25 to 99 (99 being the best possible rating) for each one of these attributes for each GOM member. Again it would mean the world to me if anyone would be willing to help me out.

Also I just want to add that I know that there are some public community made rosters available but most of them just put all of the GOM atributes at 99 which is basically the opposite of what I am trying to do. I still want them to be good but with distinct differences, so I don’t want to just max out every stat.

Aomine is most talented, Kise is the genius/most potential, Midorima is the most perfect player , Murasakibara is the strongest , and akashi is the most powerful one. Each have their own criteria to rule and thrive. Aomine has natural speed,agility and talent suited for basketball. Kise has the most potential/genius ability to learn and can frightenly catch up to each talented player. Midorima has the most useful ability , the perfect player that can score greatest (3's better than 2s). While, murasakibara has strongest body/physique in basketball , his abilties are raw strength to overwhelm all in dunking/defending/charging etc. While , akashi is most powerful player, due to fact that he can not only heighten his own ability but also the abilties of all team members, He controls the game not just his allies but also enemies, if both his characters are merged(e.g movie) , then he becomes the most powerful player on the court. So, there you have it, each to their own , there is no such thing as no1 in GOM, since each carries attributes that lets them dominate their own field . The winning of game comes down to other factors like say compitabilty , for e,g kagami/murasakibara directly counters midorima, aomine(potentially) could counter akashi(due to insane mobility and formlessness), kise coutners all but only for certain period of time, murasakibara(potentially) counters aomine(as aomine says its harder for him to score against murasakibara), then akashi counters midorima(fixed form/paths , takao and midorima surprised him but only for a while), while midorima(potentially) could counter aomine due to more scoring of 3 instead of 2. While, counter is one factor, other factors like team composition, team strength, synergy( all GOM started maxing synergy after meeting kuroko) also matter resulting in win/loss . Also, there is a variable called kuroko(darkness) who can change the course of game as well. Note: Also , after rewatching knb i noticed midorima (then kise) , is the only player on GOM that didnot get worse lol ( when all others are bored/competing for points , he says he always does 100% and dislikes such actions), he never underestimates enemies/humiliates etc, while giving his 100% throughout the series. He is the most consistent and perfect player throughout the series(among GOM discounting kuroko). Even passing to his teammate was seamlessly done, he felt no conflict whatsoever, he only lacked one thing i.e trust for teammate which he completed by the game against akashi. So, huge respect to midorima

could kise copy nash and silver and their moves that were in the movie or not?

Yes, in the series, I thought most of them were pretty fine, especially people like aomine, kise and for some reason, midorima. I'm just a girl, give me a break. But when I watched the movie I was GOBSMACKED. Like his hair is just not it. It just looks flat and greasy. Like his voice, glasses and hair were the reason I liked him but now his hair is like that he just looks so un-midorima. Also gonna mention they gave him a big forehead but yk, he's only human, can't blame him for that.

...is why certain people within the fanbase are quick to point out how the GoMs still have room to improve and will definitely improve which screws Seirin over and yet act like Kagami too won't improve as well given the story states he has the exact same potential and talent as the GoM which means he too still has plenty of room to grow just like those guys. Even if we go with the Extra Game ending where Kagami stayed, people really act like the guy is gonna be the same as he was back in his 1st year while the other GoMs will be way stronger during their 2nd year and leave him behind. It's just a bizarre rationale. And those same people find it baffling that Last Game would have recruits from America interested in scouting Kagami to help him on the path to the NBA but if it were the GoMs who got scouted instead, nobody would say a word. Just find the whole thing weird.

He’s able to make pin point passes

He’s able to steal the ball from very athletic players UK and GOM

His phantom shoot scores 70% of the time

He’s ignite pass is able to throw the ball across the court

His ignite pass Kai is even better almost like a bullet and able to slice people’s hair and blast past their hands

Most players expect for kagami can’t even catch it

Kise needed to use perfect copy to copy his passes

Before everything, can we all agree “True Zone” is the biggest asspull ever in a sports anime. I feel like what Akashi did for his team of unlocking their zones was more “true zone” than what Kagami “discussed in a second”. Total BS.

Onto the discussion. When Seirin fights with the gen of miracles the goal was always to beat them so that they’d realise fighting in a team is the way to win and not alone. But with Rakuzan, they already did that to Akashi when he reverted to his old form. Seirin should’ve 100% lost that game since the goal of changing the gen or miracles was already accomplished; nope, one of the worst plot points of “True Zone” had to happen.

its japanese text but the subtitles didnt show what it translated to. if you can recall from memory, its the scene where after kuroko and red hair guy talk abt being the best, kuroko writes something on the field for the whole school to see.

If the UK were a team like the GoM who would be the captain and who would be the ace and how strong would they be compared to the GoM??

I refuse to accept the character bible stat that he’d be a cop if it weren’t for basketball because I don’t think it suits his character at all. Even after he loses to Seirin and turns back into his old self, he still isn’t a big rule follower (and still steals food from people all the time lol) so I wonder what’s a more on- brand job for him…

So as someone who barely watches nba basketball here is my list: ( also I’m a newbie to this community but I love knb so much the sound track is amazing and Murasakibara in glitter days with his hair up and hands on his neck)

Murasakibara- shaq but I’ve been thinking and this could be controversial but I see Giannis Antetokounmpo. Atsushi is 6’10” and really strong Giannis is 6’11” and really amazing as well and I know they are aces.

Kuroko- jason kidd. Why? I barely know but Kidd really highlights his team with passing and can shoot quite well.

Midorima-Steph curry, best shooter ever.

Kagami- Lebron james. Aces, they are amazing at what they do

Kise- Kobe. It’s been said they both have a pretty good copy🙃

Aomime- I would say Lebron, but supposedly based of Kobe and Allen Iverson which I very much see.

Akashi- took me a min to think if one, jason Williams and Steve Nash I searched this up😭
