Is this a real price increase? Is this a normal jump in Poland? (x2.5)

And no stop within Planty, where a significant number of visitors to the city centre want to go.

The all-powerful Conservator has vetoed even having the Stare Miasto station at the Bagatela intersection and instead it will be further up Karmelicka, outside nos. 7-9. (I assume it wasn't even worth bothering suggesting Mały Rynek, the most obvious place for a Stare Miasto station, in my view.)

Why the Conservator has made this decision, I don't know - if Rome can have a metro station within spitting distance of the Colisseum and Athens a metro station at Monastiraki, flanked by (and on top of) historical treasures from multiple eras, then it just makes the Conservator seem overly precious - but perhaps there's a good reason I don't know about.

With the only other city-centre station at Dworzec Głowny, I'm stuggling to summon much support for this metro project, and I'm usually an enthusiast for infrastructure investment like this.

With Kraków so well served by trams, and with SKA suburban rail services now gathering pace, can anyone persuade me the expense and disruption of the metro will be worth it?

Hello, 50m, single and from US. I have an opportunity to live in Europe for 1-2 years. I recently visited Krakow and really enjoyed it. I actually enjoyed it better than Paris, London, Vienna and Munich. I only speak English, but travel all over the world for work, so communication has not been much of a problem for me. I do enjoy socializing and some night life from time to time. For those around my age, would you recommend Krakow or should I move on to another city in Poland?

Jestem dziewczyną 26 lat, do niedawna robiłam wyciskający ze mnie życie doktorat więc moja fizjonomia jest z gatunku tych ziemniaczano-kanapowych, podlewanych kofeiną. Nie mam nadwagi (BMI ok. 21), ale brak mi kondycji i przydałoby się zrzucenie paru kilogramów i wyrzeźbienie sylwetki. Z uwagi na dodatkowy czas który pojawił się w moim życiu , chciałabym się tego podjąć. Nie brakuje mi determinacji, ale łatwo się zniechęcam bez planu +połowa maszyn na siłce jest mi nieznana, nie mam też pojęcia jak ustrukturyzować trening tak, żeby osiągnąć pożądane efekty pod kątem zmiany sylwetki.

Krótko: szukam dobrego trenera personalnego w Krakowie, który pomoże mi się ogarnąć. Płeć i lokalizacja dowolne, zależy mi tylko na kimś kto jest wyrozumiały dla osób zaczynających od parteru ale jednocześnie wymagający i ciśnie.

Hey, Kraków! Since it happened twice, I decided to share with public to get your opinions.

1. Two weeks ago I was riding a tram and an unpleasantly looking middle-aged guy tried entering with a cigarette while still smoking. I felt that something is wrong when he approached doors still with the cigarette in his mouth, so I intercepted him at the highest stair of entrance, blocking him and trying to grab a cig. He was fast enough to jerk his head out of my reach. He didn’t try to escalate as I’m significantly taller and bigger, just mumbled something, smiled to me and threw the cig out of tram on the ground. He still breathed out full lungs of smoke, enough to fill half of the tram with putrid smell.
2. Today my gf wrote me that similar story happened to her, just an hour ago. British gut entered with a cigar, smoked inside and refused to throw it with stupid excuses.
