I found this phone pin in a festival today and wondered if anyone recognized the artist in it??
i saw quite a few performance vids posted on X from some livestream, does anyone know where i can watch the full festival??
thank you!
He wasn’t removed from the lineup but no other information, no videos or anything 👀 I originally had tickets for hiphopplaya but I guess everyone knows he was removed and even worse today got cancelled yay
Totally inspired by the fact I just went to Hiphopplaya but I feel like there's often not much discussion in English regarding khiphop live performances just because khiphop artists usually only perform in Korea and don't go overseas much. Here are some of my thoughts and would love to hear from others!
For Hiphopplaya, unfortunately I arrived late and got there just in time for B.I.
I've seen Bobby live before as well, when I saw him his heart didn't seem to be in it all, to be fair he was performing with IKON and maybe he's just over that.
Also seen RM, j-hope and SUGA live, both their solos and trios and they're all AMAZING live, they put their 110% into it. I've always loved RM's more slow, laidback flow. j-hope particularly shines on stage you can just tell he loves performing. SUGA is very cool but energetic at the same time on stage.
I’m old and new to khiphop. This album is awesome and the production value is insane. Anyone have any recommendations that are similar? Also, I’m open to any other recommendations. I tend to lean toward avant garde so weird stuff is welcome. Hope this post is allowed. TIA. Cheers!
I accidentally bought balcony tickets instead of a second GA ticket. I'm selling them at a discount from the ticket master price. Please take them off my hands!
trying to see if this festival has a livestream i would be able to watch tonight & tmrw, or if theres only recorded performances that get uploaded later on
I’m so sad cause he was one of the reasons I was going in the first place and I Lowkey don’t wanna go anymore 😞
Can an artist come out of Korea to compete with the likes of Frank Ocean, Dominic Fike, Daniel Caesar, etc. in the US and global market? Or at the very least, an artist that challenges the market? And if so, who will it be? Crush, Zion.T.... I think they can't... DPR IAN is going good, DEAN is one of the strongest candidates, and I'm looking forward to his new album.
BUT I think Jooyoung could be the new Asian R&B icon, given the talent he's shown with this album and the direction of the overall production. What do you guys think?
Hi everyone! Just came across this cool little sweepstakes situation online and I figured it was worth a shout. If you donate to support Heart of Dinner, an organization helping elderly Asian-Americans battling hunger and loneliness, you might win a free trip to the Head in the Clouds festival on May 10/11. Not to AND meet Young Posse, Dabin, and Illenium! There are also some neat perks and merchandise bonuses that the winner (and guest :0) gets. Thought I'd pass it along. Cheers my friends :)
