Keen has registered "Roman Engineers" as a trademark at the European IPO.

I was searching to see if Space Engineers had been trademarked, found it had been, and then checked out Keen's ID# at the IPO. Turns out they filed for a trademark in early 2021, and it was successful.

RP Server Chat Mod

Hello people

I want to write a script for an RP Server but I dont have the nessesary knowledge to write it so i need someone to give me some help :) I found nothing in the workshop that fits my requirements so i want to do it myself

It should basicly implement an /act chat where you can interact with other people in RP
example:
Player input: Valkorion: /act Valkorion gives Redditors Cookies
Chat output: Valkorion gives Redditors Cokies

The Name of the one who sent the message should be hidden and only the output displays in a certain color.

When someone types in chat and doesnt do the /act in front of it I want that the script adds an (OOC) in front of the Mesage sent.
example:
Player Input: Valkorion: Hello
Chat Output: Valkorion: (OOC) Hello

What it should do:
- should be available as mod (modscript)
- executes whenever someone writes a chatmessage
- Chatoutput should be global
- See examples above

Is it even possible to do sth. like this and when yes please send some help because im new to modding in this game :) (Im familiar with C#)

Keens Suggestion Forums/Defense Shields API Access

Hello fellow engineers, I hope you are all doing well. I just wanted to bring something to everyones attention, because if we could make this blow up, I feel it could really help our modding community.

For those of you who don't know, Keen has a forum site where you can make proposals that they may consider adding in the next update of the game, which can be found in the following link, https://support.keenswh.com/spaceengineers/pc/topics/all/status/all/category/all/sort/popular/page/1 , it can also be used to report bugs.

Now, this link, https://support.keenswh.com/spaceengineers/pc/topic/api-additions-needed-for-shield-mods , is the very top post on the suggestions page, which was submitted almost TWO YEARS ago by the author of the defense shields mod, which, for those of you who may not know, is a bubble shield mod that can be found on the steam workshop (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1561929423&searchtext=defense+shields). I just wanted to ask my fellow engineers to take a moment, make an account for the Keen Forums, and vote on that. Also, please vote on other things too. It really helps Keen to know what we want, and although they can be frustrating sometimes, I really love their game, and hope I can help improve it. Thanks for your time everyone.

TLDR - I need help supporting the post about Shields API on the top of Keens suggestion Forums. If everyone could take a moment and vote on that idea, and others they approve of, I feel it could really help the game. Thanks everyone!

More Survival challenges and more ore/metals

Hey i was wondering if there could be more metal option like aluminium, copper , ect. mainly expanding the Periodic table ; and if possible can there be more stuff in the air like CO2 , plus having air scrubbers and that to make the survival be more challenging?

Could this Subreddit somehow be merged (or pinned) with /r/spaceengineers?

I know personally I didn't even realize this subreddit existed until it got linked on the KSWH foums this morning.

There seem to be very few people that frequent here, while both the game subreddit and forums are full of people who would love to give their input
