I really need to take biol-211 next semester to stay on track with pre-med requirements. The professors are Lait and Mehta, but both of their ratings on rmp and their grade distributions are scaring me a bit. Has anyone had them and recommends either one, or is there another class that would fill the biology premed courses besides this one (Iāve already taken 112 and 113). Would biol-m 250 also fill this requirement?
Applied as a finance major with a 3.6 uw gpa.Very good extracurriculars like varsity captain of football team and internships and jobs. Applied test option as my Act was only a 27.
Hello everyone, For my masterās thesis, Iām studying how university students' beverage habits evolve over time. The survey takes about 5 minutes, and Iām hoping to get responses from IU Bloomington alumni. Iād really appreciate your help! Hereās the link: Survey for Indiana University Bloomington."
I'm not sure which division I want to enter yet; however, I am leaning towards clinical. Since I'm not completely sure I'm struggling to choose because I don't want this to affect my application.
When can I apply for sophomore dorm housing
Hello! I lived in Bloomington 30 years ago, and am aching to move back!
I'm currently in Salt Lake City, but the Chicagoan in me sold my car years ago & I rely on public transportation, Uber, etc.
What is the vibe on public transportation in Bloomington? And Uber? My 1980 Honda Accord parked at the football stadium is literally DECADES ago!
(And PLEASE don't use my profile against me. IU was where I had fun, but Purdue was where I got my degree).
I am currently drinking from a Nick's English Hut pound jar. THANKS!
I know I just applied just wondering if it always says pre business until the admissions letter as Iām pretty sure Iām a Kelley direct admit.
I am an intl so therefore aiming for a STEM course. The only STEM course that aligns with me is the BS in Econ Quant Methods but I'm not sure if I can get into IB with this since I won't get a chance to be a part of IBW or even Kelley. So I'm thinking If I can double major in Econ Quant along with Kelley Finance?
I'm a journalism student working on a story about the mural in Woodburn Hall 100, which depicts a Klan rally. More broadly, the story will be about the way people discuss art that depicts discomforting subjects. IU stopped holding classes in that lecture hall in 2017. If you're an IU alum and you took a class in this specific hall, please message me if you'd be willing to talk about that experience. Thanks.
My girlfriend goes here and told me sheās going to a pcp party at a frat and told me that I shouldnāt worry about them because they are for girls who are planning on rushing and that thereās basically no guys there. Are they actually what sheās saying they are and should I be worried?
I have space for one more three credit course in my schedule for my second semester of freshman year. Iām taking ECON-B 251 right now, and itās not going too bad. Next semester I was considering just taking B252 to get it over with, but I noticed that for G202, you just need B251 as a prerequisite. Would it be worth it to get it done now, or take B252 and take G202 next year?
If it matters, in B251 I have an A- right now and depending on my next two exams, Iām hoping for a B+ to A range.
On my Indiana portal, it says ātest optional Include test scores in reviewā do I have to put them in somewhere on the IU portal or is it using the scores from my CommonApp?
Hello! I am a woman in my late-20s and will be in Bloomington this weekend. I have done cursory research on places to eat, things to do, etc. but would love to get recommendations from y'all who live, work, and study in the area. While I would love to explore state parks and the like, I will not have access to a car and thus am limited to places around Indiana University. I also do not drink alcohol.
Here is my list so far:
Thank you!
Hello so I know this probably isnāt the best place to put this but I figured people who were more interested than other students could reply here. For compass one we have to interview a junior senior or grad student in Kelley (or any major similar) and reflect upon it. If anyone knows anyone I could interview or would let me interview that would be really super helpful. Thanks š¦š¦š
If youāre eating at forest check your bread, I was getting toast this morning and 3 of the loaves were extremely moldy, this seems to be a common issue in my experience.
How is the online masters of data science program at IU Bloomington? I got accepted there.
I got a 0 on the first assignment worth 80 points. Is there any way of passing the class or am I cooked
Alumni that lived at IU during 9/11, what was the day like? How did you find out? Whatās your personal story?
The gyms are way too busy for me personally :(
Did our subscription to Max get canceled through Xfinity on Campus? I canāt log back into my account.
On my Indiana app website, it says ātest optional Include test scores in reviewā do I have to put them in somewhere on the IU website or is it using the scores from my CommonApp?
A few weeks ago, the price of a ride from the airport to campus was $29.87. Today, the same ride costs $32.77.
From the checkout page:
A total gratuity of $2.90 is already included in your fare. If you'd like to add an additional gratuity please select your desired level.
This year theres a new math class to fulfill the math requirement at Kelley instead of finite or calc , and they're closing the ivy tech loop hole ? anyway, if anyone here is taking it or knows someone taking it, how is going ? easy, tough , mild etc ? I'm thinking of taking it instead of M119
Looking for a personal perspective from current or past students!! I'm considering applying because it's a good safety for me! For reference for oos tuition, I'm a low-income student, so I'm hoping for good financial aid!
