I have a band in town for a Halloween show and need on-location makeup artist that specializes in horror special effects makeup using liquid latex. There are 3 band members that need realistic zombie makeup! Would ideally be someone at a reasonable rate that's comfortable in a backstage environment, works quickly (3 people in 2-3 hours), and is knowledgeable on how to apply makeup for stage lighting. TIA!

I've always been obsessed with horror make up and I've always really wanted to try my hand in the field but I couldn't afford the schools and stuff. I'm finally getting down to brass tacks and I would really REALLY love to get started this year. Does anyone know where I should start? Supplies, specific tasks to complete like scar make up or faux body parts?
Thank you!!
So me and some friends are trying to make a horror movie and this one character is supposed to have. scar in his forehead, but none of us really know how to make a real looking healed scar, any tips?
Hi guys, Iโm new to the subreddit, but I take lots of interesting in makeup, mainly in the special effects/horror genre, i just applied for a job at Sephora, I have a phone interview on Monday but Iโm worried I donโt know enough about commercial makeup, any tips or pieces of advice to secure the job? Iโd love some really helpful pieces of info
