This subreddit is for Catholics interesting in reflecting on the Bible, primarily daily readings from Mass for their own spiritual growth.

This subreddit is for Catholics interested in reflecting on the daily readings from Mass. We hope this will be spiritually enriching for you. This is a place for spiritual growth not debate; if you want theological debate, there's plenty at /r/Christianity.

  1. All Posts must be to links to a reflection on the Bible. /u/DailyReadingsBot posts the daily readings, and you are encouraged to add your own reflections there.

  2. Remember spiritual growth before debate:

a. Links must be in line with the Teachings of the Catholic Church. Non-Catholic sources are fine as long as the general thrust is in line with the Church.

b. Any method can be used in the reflection: Lectio Divina, theological commentary, etc. These methods enrich each other.

c. Comments should be civil and charitable. If a comment will not help your brothers and sisters in Christ, don't submit it

  • Reflections on readings from today's mass or masses in the past week will be preferred but other reflections are not banned.

  • Enjoy and be blessed with Jesus' presence in your life.
