Another addition is to my World Juniors Project! Wanted to get something a bit off the beaten path when it comes to Carey and the amount of autos he has.

His performance at the 2007 tournament is simply legendary. A perfect record, paired with a 1.14 GAA and .961 SV% and 2 shutouts earned him not only best goaltender of the tournament but also tournament MVP. Personally, I think giving him a brick wall instead of a trophy would have been a better award but I digress.

This dominance continued in his NHL career, though this project focuses only on his World Juniors career.

Without this stonewalling performance, does Canada win its 3rd straight gold medal? Hard to say, and it is a reality I’m glad didn’t come to fruition

Overall pretty happy, the auto patch is better than I usually do. It’s the first card I’m considering getting graded.

So Jesper Bratt is my favorite current player. Does anyone have recs on which packs and or boxes might come with the best/coolest Bratt cards?

My son got very lucky as a kid one Christmas and pulled a McDavid young gun in some packs he got from Santa. He recently enquired about grading so I have been trying to do some research. I was thinking of PSA or TAG as options. I have questions about PSA up-charges. 1) What do they use to determine the value? I pulled PSA 8, 9, and 10 cert numbers from eBay and the PSA app shows values of $647, $1201 and $2115 respectively. I told him he couldn’t automatically expect a 10 despite the fact I protected it immediately but want to have a good idea what the charges could be. Thanks in advance.
