Was playing halo master chief collection multiplayer last couple months for free ( I don't pay for xbox live), now all of the sudden tonight it's making me subscribe to gamepass/xbox live whatever it's called now. Anyone know why? Is it just a special promotion xbox was having last couple months?

I really want to get into the Halo Series I just don’t know where to start. I do know that Halo Master Chief Collection and Halo Infinite are both on sale, but I don’t know if I should start with the series as well as the game’s campaign.

THe y say that Infinte had the fastest nade toss of all titles from the franchise, but then go on tho show a statistic for 'nades/second' and list Infinite at .79. Did they meant to say grenade cast time in seconds intially and then rephrased it to nades per second because ''.79 Nades per second'' would place Infitie at the lowest of the franchise according to their own numbers, while ''nade cast time 0.79s'' would indeed make it the fastest. or did i just become to stupid to comprehend the sentence?

I don't remember who, but back in 2008 when ODST was announced someone made a mosaic of the Rookie using Halo 3 Screenshots down to the Bungie insignia.

Supposedly, one Guardian is enough to lock down a star system, and there was a good 40-50 in Halo 5 that were awakened. If the Forerunners had control of them as the "Mantle of Responsibility", why didn't they use them?

Hi, as the title says I'm looking to buy some Halo statues. Any recommendations where to buy them, trusted sellers and such. I am coming up empty on Google. Also, I know I recently missed out on the Halo 2 20th anniversary chief statue but unfortunately I couldn't pre order in time and now Dark Horse is sold out.

I know that back then, you needed the "If they came to hear me beg" achievement to unlock this helmet and I got it. But recently a friend of mine bought MCC and we discovered that the achievement no longer exists. Now my question is really, if its in the exchange rotation or not, because personally I have never seen it there, maybe bad timing or smth...

Anyone have any good tips on acquiring spartan points? I don't have a ton of time to play with life and what not but I would love to have the Ghost of Reach Helmet. What game modes get the most spartan points?

I have been talking with my friend about this, and it seems like 343 has not yet hit its stride with Halo, after three games. I think that Infinite has gotten itself to "serviceable", but, my problem is that, this game was SOLD on the idea of "Hey guys, it's just like classic Halo, remember classic Halo? Remember Bungie? Well we made this game like those games! Just play it and see!" And the product is simply NOT comparable.

So okay, what next? Is the next product really, REALLY going to go so far as trying to compete with the original Halo:CE? A remake? Why can't we just get something NEW? Let MCC serve as the hub for those classic titles, with that perfect Halo Multiplayer everyone loves. Support that, update that, shit update the graphics, add new weapons, new maps, but pouring resources into YET ANOTHER 343 homegrown FPS?

I personally am not excited in the slightest at the idea of 1. Another 343 FPS game, and 2. Rumors that it's going to be a Halo CE Remake. I personally want new lore, I want fun gameplay, and I don't want to be doing the same thing we've been doing since 2001. This franchise has been CODified and it's incredibly sad.

I miss when the gameplay was catered towards fun. I will repeat this until my face turns blue, this franchise deserves the same treatment of the Warhammer 40k series. This universe has so many different opportunities for gameplay, and we've been stuck on FPS for decades. We need our own Helldivers 2 PvE experience, our own ODST Ghost Recon title, our own Battlefront II, this franchise could have so much more than just Spartans shooting at each other.

For me, I’d like to see some more obscure maps. I know we all want Sandtrap and Avalanche or Blood Gulch, but that’s to be expected. I want to see some more interesting maps like Terminal, District, Backwash, Gemini (can you tell I think Halo 2 maps are underrated?), Anchor 9, Highlands, Boarding Action, Danger Canyon, Assembly, etc. What about you?

I had it on 2 Jeeps and a Dodge before. It moves to any current daily driver with me and always gives the car a new vibe. On wranglers it felt most natural. On the Charger it felt just fun. For the last two years on Tesla named Nagatha (any Skippy fans around?) it gives me the most giggles every time I look at it😂

I watched the Halo series and after watching Master Chief fighting Kwan I wondered how much of an advantage he would have against a normal human like her just with the characteristics of biological alterations?

Is there any way I can still unlock the Operator helmet for Reach in MCC? It says unlock in Series 1 but idk where to find that so I have a feeling it’s been vaulted.

Hey all, just trying to wrap up some achievements before this game is taken offline permanently. For Castle Crashers(complete 5 games of strongholds in matchmaking), I'm not sure what playlist it's in, and the playlists don't tell you what game modes they feature. It's 2025, and any info I have found is like 2yrs old. Anyone have any insight on this?
