I live in RU region so I can't buy the season pass 4. I've checked and she is already in the game, but I can't find the character DLC. Can't wait to play her so kinda worried. Relatively new to the game and it's first character release since I started playing, so I'm kinda worried.
SHES SO FUCKING PRETTY ABFKAOEKSNWNNDKAKSMXNWLFLSIWJSBDKSOFOKAKRKFNDNWJKRRLSLAKRLFOWOJRNDAKEKFOODQJEJRNDJDKOOEKKRISISODKFNSNSJDJDFJJD IVE ONLY BEEN PLAYING DIZZY FOR FIVE MINUTES BUT IF ANYTHING WERE TO HAPPEN TO HER ID KILL EVERYONE HERE AND THEN MYSELF
I bought the season pass only for the Xbox/Windows Store version and it won't update.
Anyone here got it to work?
I'm testing the changes now on the Steam version but I don't have dizzy there. 😑
Mainly about 2H and 5H no longer special cancelable change. I don't get it, yeah the character is strong, but not like super duper broken, and now with all the new tools others get, why even bother to play nago with this nerf? Feels like playing a "disabled" character compared to the others (who still can do 5H special cancel), or even worse, feels like playing "worse slayer" - who barely got anything changed.
how can this be
Was enjoying my final games of pre-patch potemkin. I'll miss kara, but I don't think I could ever truly abandon the funny glue man. I'll see you all on the other side.
It's the day... Isn' t It? Is She out...?
I love this game, from far away. The characters are awesome, the music is crazy, the combat feels amazing. However, the biggest thing that has taken me from this game time and time again is the online lobby. It is just so much easier and less of a headache to find matches (and to a further degree even matches) in tekken or SF, but every time i see ggst content im like i want that to be my main game. I am trying to commit to GG with this new patch and was wondering if other people feel how I do about the lobby and how you combat this feeling?
I'm talking about Chipp, I main the guy since my day one on XRD after done with Sol and some tutorial.
The biggest critism about Strive for the long time Players are it's simply not just general gameplay but also returning character to the point it make them feel like completely different characters then Chipp there which perhaps the least victims of over-simplification.
The only thing Chipp losing without compensation are the camouflage and the teleports which just slightly decrease his potential Mix-up although there's some move missing such as the reverse dive kick but Alpha Blade(K), Alpha Blade follow-up but now you can interact with the wall with using Alpha Blade and the Air Throw Kunnai super but his HCB>F+Hs now have air version.
With the Ropes gonna get introduce now the teleports finally getCompensation
With everyone talking about the patch notes (wich are very interesting) there something i'd like to just bring in to the discussion because i am very very excited about it. And its about the new songs.
So with Dizzy we knew that she was gonna have her theme, obviously. But i was pleasantly surprised by get over nightmare from the patch trailer, especially after learning that its a return of the matchup themes.
But then the patch notes surprised me with this, a new credits song. Wich from what previous credits theme were, is gonna be another sick ass power ballad like name of heaven and Freesia.
Theres really nothing to say about it other than its called shelter from the rain, and that its a credits theme. But i'm just very hyped about it since the guilty gear power ballads are my favourite type of songs in the franchise, and just wanted to share it and see what your thoughts about it are.
Because if Pot could Kara Potbuster while having Armor he'd legitimately be broken.
Almost every character except for Sol and maybe one or two others would be stuck every single round start having to 50/50 either an Armored Kara Potbuster they can't stop or jumping and eating the fist/air grab which would end up with them stuck in a Garuda/Kara Pot Buster/Jumping into getting hit again loop.
Against a big chunk of the cast you'd legit be deciding the match in the first 6-ish seconds every round.
You gotta pick between moving during PB or having it be armored - you can't have both.
R.i.p. 🫡
I am interested GG strive becasue of Dizzy and discounted 50% .
Should I buy other Dlc for learning matchups as new player in GG series?
I've seen many opinions online that come to the conclusion that Sol is either buffed or generally still as good as he was but with difference nuances. Imo, Sol still has probably one of the best defenceman kit all around, with 5k being worse as an abare but a buffed antiair now, damage wise we'll still be cooking and thanks to the possibility of special canceling fafnir and night raid vortex, we are likely gonna have some excellent meter less combos, so damage wise we are fine if not even better. Now going into neutral, the positions in which we were on the defence already haven't changed, bandit bringer still keeps us in defence, and so does bandit revolver, arguably the only actually worse neutral option might be fafnir if it is minus (but we only know that it doesn't guard crash anymore and has higher recovery).
So what's the verdict, are we striving in this one?
That yoyo jump cancel was super essential to her neutral.. I did see she had an increase in guts rating but does it even out her defense modifier?
A tad late, but I still feel that it's useful for better understanding S4 I-No. Nothing from this video is really going to become obsolete. Also, there is a lot of I-No counterplay sprinkled throughout. Happy Season 4!
When I tried launching the game and using steam remote play I was unable to get his controller working on my part. I tried to plug in two separate controllers but it didn't fix the problem. Is there any way to fix this? I understand if there's not because the steam port of Isuka isn't all that great.
