so if there are any dizzy players out there or just players in general that understand how do you fight slayer? as a new player going against him and potempkin in particular feels very frustrating and it seems they leave very little room for error to go against.
I’m new to all this so I’m curious, if I buy the base game (I’m on Xbox) right now, then buy blazing edition later on, will they merge? As in my data from beforehand will stay type thing. This seems like a silly question but I just wanna know haha. Thank you!
Ignore how brainrotted my Johnny gameplay is I’m pretty mid at this game.
got stuck in a loop by a potemkin where they just spammed guruda impact and the first time they used it without me being gaurdcrushed or anything I still got hit by it when 5ping and lost from that.
Making a playlist, there’s a lot of banger music tracks for these games but they do kinda start to sound samey and don’t want to flip through every single album to find the ones I like. Wanna hear what peoples thoughts are to weed out the uninteresting ones
Hi, I'm a new GG player, I have some fighting game experience (around 1k hours on Tekken and 500 on smash) and basic knowledge of the GG systems (still a bit confused on how so many moves are + on block).
I find myself lacking some educational content on the internet about the game, even tho I read the guide on this sub, and searched on YouTube, google, etc... I find it hard to learn things like setups, gameplans for the character, combos, how to use roman cancels (ik how they work just find it hard to implement it during the match).
Do you guys have any idea where to find said content?
I don’t think I have a single button that doesn’t lead to being counterhit
I can’t seem to do much to block others so how are mine getting blocked all the time?? Are they just blocking it and attacking back? Why does it look like it hits but then it doesn’t? It looks like they stopped it from happening midway. I know I should use overdrive as combo finishers or when the opponent is knocked down but I still don’t understand how it gets punished instead of just blocked
The ship, naoki blessed us before i even knew he blessed me, the message is so strong i started crying singing the lyrics.
Me and my friends are organizing a little real time fandub thing within our friend group. We’re planning to dub strive’s story mode. I have not watched the story mode, and I don’t really plan to in advance since I think it’s funnier for us to all go in blind.
I’m attempting to make a google form for my friends to sign up for what characters to voice and what-not, but due to me not watching the story mode I have no idea who does and doesn’t appear, and how large a role each character has.
Basically if it’s not too much to ask I need to know what characters appear within strive’s story mode, and how large a role the characters play in the story. (Aka, a rough estimate how much screen time they have)
I just upgraded from an lcd to an oled steam deck. I like playing against my friends when I’m on deck but for some reason ever since I upgraded it thinks I’m on keyboard when I’m using the deck. My lcd deck did not have this issue. Despite thinking I’m on keyboard it won’t let me join the fighting stands.
I have tried proton experimental, old proton versions, and binding my steam deck buttons to keyboard keys. But nothing works it won’t let me join the matchmaking stands in a lobby even w a button bound to U. Any advice?
I just don't know what to do against dizzy spam other than try my best to close in.
I was thinking maybe 214H but the frame data doesn't seem to fit in this situation
Chipp players have to be the unluckiest people I know (also, please ignore the horrendous gameplay. This was like, my second ever online match, lul)
I'm mainly wondering about the first couple of lines (I am going off the Spotify lyrics) "The darkness disappeared by the morning sun" to "The heart turns into stone" in the first verse and and the first half of the second verse. I can't really figure out what any of it's supposed to mean. (besides the obvious parts)
Not exactly finished yet, just wanted to share hehe
