Subreddit Rules
1. No sales, requests, free offers, promotional posts, or farming followers. This sub is for art critiques. Sales, requests, and promotional posts do not belong here. If you have something for sale, /r/furry_catwalk is the appropriate sub. Commission/offer discussion should not take place in the comments section. Users are encouraged to PM OP to ask about commission status instead. Artists may not request or PMs or followers. Tutorials and resources are allowed and encouraged, however, they must be posted to the sub directly and may not link offsite.
2. No pornography. Because this sub is intended for a wide age range, we have chosen to restrict heavy sexual content. Nudity is still acceptable as that is part of learning anatomy. However, sex acts, visible arousal, fluids, ahegao face, and obvious fetish content do not belong here. The good news is /r/yiffuniversity or r/yiffyiffartschool_v2 is the place for your lewd art-critique needs! Because fetish content can be hard to define, this content may be subject to removal at mod discretion.
3. Tag NSFW content (NUDITY) Nudity that passes rule 2 must be tagged NSFW. Flair [NUDITY] is suggested but not required so users know what they're clicking on. Any content that contains visible nipples or genitals (exposed or outlined under clothing) needs to be tagged. Extremely stylized cartoon nudity that does not look human and has no visible bits is fine and does not require a tag. (Snoopy or Garfield would not need a tag. Nude Legoshi would need one.) Lingerie on human-looking bodies or clothed-but-suggestive poses also need a tag.
4. Tag NSFW content (GORE) Gore is allowed on this sub, but must be tagged NSFW. Flair [GORE] is suggested but not required so users know what they're clicking on. Scars and minor injuries don't have to be tagged, but dismemberment and other heavy blood/gore does. This includes candy gore as well. When in doubt, tag it!
5. Downvotes are for helpful/unhelpful, not good/bad. We're all at different skill levels. Please remember that upvote/downvote isn't, "I like this/I don't like this". Be courteous to each other, and if you don't like a post but it doesn't break a rule- just scroll past.
6. Be kind. This sub is for artistic growth. Please do critique. Please do NOT insult. Negative and unhelpful comments will be removed. Repeat offenders will be banned. In addition- Racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, and other trash comments will not be tolerated and repeat offenders will be banned. If you can't be helpful or kind, you can be quiet.
7. Don't steal art, and remember to source any bases or references. Don't claim someone else's art as your own. Don't claim someone else's characters as your own. Do not post someone else's art for critique. They didn't ask for it and are not here to see it anyway. If you use a base or someone else's art as a reference, please link the art in a comment below your post.
8. Posts must have Descriptive Titles & ask for Specific Critique Your post title must be descriptive and ask for specific objective critique. Describe what you tried to accomplish and what you want to improve. Questions like, "is it good?", or "what color should I use?" are personal preference and will not result in meaningful critique. Posts that look like they're only here to show off or share will be removed.
9. Critique THIS PIECE. Only post art that you're looking for help with. Finished pieces/"What should I do different next time?" will be removed. Nobody knows what you're going to draw next time, so you're not going to get meaningful critique.

I know it's very early for me to start thinking about such small details but I feel like the eyes I produce look a bit too lifeless/boring, in comparaison to the cartoony style I want to learn, and the ears placement feel really, really bad; and yeah, I use the circles to place stuff but it just won't work with ears!
