California State University, Fresno was founded as Fresno State Normal School in 1911, became a teacher's college in 1921, and has offered advanced degrees since 1949. The university's popular nickname is "Fresno State." Our mascot is the Bulldog.
The university is accredited by the California Board of Education and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. It has 26 nationally accredited departmental programs, among the highest number within the CSU system.
Fresno State's 388-acre main campus and its 1,011-acre University Farm are located at the northeast edge of Fresno, California, at the foot of the majestic Sierra Nevada mountain range. The surrounding San Joaquin Valley is one of the richest agricultural areas in the world, and Fresno is the fifth largest city in California. The university is within an hour's drive of many mountain and lake resorts and within a three- or four-hour drive of both Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Does this course fill up fast? Will I have any chance of enrolling if my enrollment date is November 19th? Also, was this an enjoyable course for those who have taken it?
Any parties or events going on Halloween night ? No costumes required? Either in Fresno or surrounding areas

Thank you for your time and I look forward to working with you!

As anyone gotten the tuition advantage grant? or know when we will get it?
I just recently changed to be a art-animation major and I’m really debating on taking 3D animation and such, is it easy? To me I think it’d make my degree and skills more useful so I can find a job easier later since I wanna go into the gaming-art industry but how are the classes? I’m getting a laptop soon but I’m just worried about if I take a 3D art class and I have to do work at home my laptop probably couldnt handle blender or whatever program, but what is it rlly like? i’m just nervous and need some insight
I have a lot of experience in 2d/digital/traditional art, I just have zero experimece with blender and 3d modeling as a whole
I’m adding classes to my wishlist. Either math class is acceptable for my major but I wanna know the general consensus of both, respectively
Any recommendations for what math I should take my freshman year next semester? I’m not too sure what type of math would be the easiest to get through.
Unfortunately, I had been indecisive on fully committing to Fresno State but now that I have made my decision, my Dog Days orientation is scheduled to be on the 3rd of January. At this point, how difficult would it be to sign up for classes with decent, or preferable, accounting professors? I don't have high expectations, but I would appreciate any honest advice. Thank you!
Anyone know if there’s a party going either at State or City?
Does this mean there is no tickets available
Does anyone have their old excel sheets from chem 1b? I'm struggling on these so much 😩 I need help.
Tortas come out to play (evil sonic licking his lips)
Hello I'm 30ish yr old(f) and looking for friends... I'm old so it's hard to find people that have the same likes, dislikes, or morals in younger people. No offense to the under 30 crowd. I just had a falling out with the group I was hanging out with, they were getting clicky and playing highschool mind games that I can spot a mile away. I'm too old to go through that again haha. Just wondering anyone else out here in the same predicament and are going to fresno state that want to be friends?
NOT LOOKING FOR FRIENDS THAT DONT GO TO FRESNO STATE
*mostly looking for female friendships, male friendships are fine but that would be all since I would not be interested in anyone since I'm married *
Also I'd like to hang out to get study rooms together! Get some homework done!
But the way that you have to log in, and with how ancient this hardware is on this thing, the internet explorer on 360 is offline. Is there any possible workaround? I'm trying to play CoD WAW.
What is ‘Math Category I or II?’is that talking about my high school stuff? or is there other college classes I need to take to just be able to do basic chemistry 🥲
If im a Fresno State student currently but am not dorming, am I able to apply to dorm for next semester starting in January? If so how do I apply for it?
I have Prof. Bawa for Phys 2A and was wondering if anyone has taken the midterm this week yet. If so...what topics were on there so that I know exactly to study for.
I applied for a unsub loan and direct sub loan a month ago. When do I receive the funds? It says in the status that an Entrance interview needs to be complete before I can receive it. Where do I do that?
any advice on who to take for phys 2A lab and lecture? lwk wanna pass the class too
Hiiii, I have 2 questions yall. I’m a spring transfer student majoring in psychology, and I’m just wondering if anybody has been in a similar position and knows what classes I should take? Or do counselors offer education plans. Also, when does class registration begin for the spring?
anyone who has taken biol 33 how are the labs or what do u do? also does anyone know the book that is used for that class? or any overall thoughts about the class with karen choolijan. last thing if it says digital campus synchronous that means we are meeting just online right?
I am transferring to Fresno State from a community college for the spring of 25 semester and I was wondering if any of you could give me a timeline of the student housing application process based on your experience. I submitted the housing application on October 14th and the next day I got an email that the housing team has begun reviewing my application. For those of you who were transfer students for a spring semester, how long after receiving that email did you get notified of your application status of either being approved, denied or on a waitlist? Then how long after that until you got assigned to a room? I'm just trying to map out a timetable of when to expect what from the housing application process. Also, how is student age groups of those living in the dorms? I am a 24 year old male, going to be 25 in June and from what I was told when I went over for a tour earlier this month, is that if there aren't any single suite style dorms left that I could be placed in a double or triple suite dorm. I'd be okay with that, but would prefer to be with others closer to my age. Would you say that there are a good amount of transfers students who would be around my age or a bit older, or are they generally around 19-21 years old?
Do you guys know if it’s possible to bypass time conflicts between 2 classes? Really need to take both to graduate next semester
