I wanted to know which albums you would group with what seasons! Mine would be: Winterš- A very lonely solstice, Crack Up Springš±- Helplessness Blues Summerāļø- Shore, Fleet Foxes Fallš-Live on Boston Harbor

Skye completely ate his guitar parts! Also, is there new lyrics at the end of this version?!
Iām sincerely happy for those enjoying the Robin solo tour right now. However I canāt help but feel disappointed that all heās done in the past couple years is tour either with FF or solo. This is especially since Shore wasnāt exactly a full-fledged FF album, so really weāre closing in on 8 years since the last true FF release.
Itās also disappointing that unlike older acts where itās par for the course that they release less and less new music as the years go by, heās not yet 40 and is still taking this long between albums. It feels like heās following the Tool playbook right now :-(
Edit: Sold!
I unfortunately canāt attend Robinās show next week š just looking to get back what I paid for it! I bought it pre-sale and checking my email, the ticket will be at will-call.
I was at the library studying during my final semester of college. I checked r/indieheads on my laptop and saw "[FRESH] Fleet Foxes" and nearly screamed out of excitement. At that point it had been about 6 years since the last album and the wait for new music was getting excruciating lol. I was trying my best not to cry right there in the middle of the library
I canāt make it to the 12/5 show, but I managed to snag tickets to the 12/4 show instead. Selling my 2 tickets to the 12/5 show if anyone is interested.
Hello foxes (or whatever the fans of the band are named). This year I have been mostly stuck in my apartment working on my computer, and was working as a bartender before that. Even if I'm passionate about filmmaking (lots of computer work) and bartending, another one of my passions is hiking, traveling, nature etc. but I let that go a whole lot for the past 2-3 years.
I fell on the song Helplessness Blues by the band about 2 months ago. The song is so powerful it awakened that passion up in me. The chorus made me have this big edited video in my mind of all the beautiful places I would love to go to, explore, climb and eat sandwhiches. And I listen to this song now very often. I have listened to about half the album of Helplessness Blues, it was enjoyable but nothing got me ticking as much or even close to the album's title track.
This has probably been asked before but considering the "Hiking" aspect and the song "Helplessness Blues" which I love without not liking as much its album, do you, fans of the band, have recommendations for me or somewhere to start?
hi all, iām new to this subreddit. iāve known fleet foxes for quite a while, but it always takes me some time to fully get into an artist. on the other hand, iām one of those (yes, one of thoseā¦) diehard joanna newsom fans. i watched the video of robin and joanna playing blue spotted tail last year, and i kept it in my mind for some time. how beautifully their voices harmonize, somewhat sublime.
then yesterday i decided to play this album on apple music and i kept in on repeat as if it was Ys-live or something. pure acoustic magic. however i just canāt switch the music now. itās been 16 hours and i need help!
anyway, a new subscriber here. iāll wander through other albums sooner or later.

Hey there, I ended up with 4 extra tickets to the Decmeber 7 solo show Robin is putting on. Would love to get rid of them to people who want the chance to go. Please let me know if you want some tickets and we can work something out. Hope to hear back from you people! Thanks.
Looking for one ticket to either of the LA showsššI would be so grateful..they sold out in the first 2 min when I was in a work call and Iāve been scouringššā¤ļøā¤ļø
Bought them because I wasn't able to buy the tickets for Seattle. Now I got tickets for Seattle so going to need to sell the Portland ones. Selling at face value. Message me if interested!
This song is such a joy to play. Brilliant songwriting.
Hello all! Canāt make it to next weekās show š„so Iām selling one ticket at face value! Happy to negotiate also!! Thanks yāall
Sadly we canāt go, and weāre selling them at face value if anyone is interested.
I sat on the footage for awhile in a bliss state. After the show in the dark, to my uncomprehension Robin walked to the center stage edge and off of it to a riser/cargo box to sign a book of the brothers next to me.
Or is it focusing on miscellaneous tracks throughout every albums/EP? Curious because HP is one of my favorite albums and want some insight into the tracks, though Iāll be buying it whether it has it or not.
Hello! Selling 3 tickets for 12/5 show in SF. Canāt go anymore, but you can! Dm me with an offer, tickets are going for $80 with fee rn online.
Iām going to both LA showsā¦ does it seem realistic that heās going to play different setlists for fans attending both nights? I am so excited no matter what he does, cuz Robin is my absolute favorite living singer/songwriter!!!!
Two tickets for Robinās first night at the Lodge Room. Iām getting back from a trip that day, and I wont have any energy left to attend the show š°
Face value, and you donāt have to pay the online fees I had to pay. DM if interested!
Update: tickets sold
Anyone know what song Robin played before āHelplessness Bluesā last night? Setlist.fm says āBlues Run the Gameā but that wasnāt it..
I think it might have been āThe Dolphinsā by Fred Neil based on other recent setlists and the fact he definitely used the 12 string for it. Thanks in advance!
I heard robin play i let you for the first time last night and i recognized the guitar part from another FF song - i think itās tagged onto the end or beginning of another song, really distorted and recorded to a tape thatās speeding up and slowing down ā¦ anybody know what song im thinking of???
Does anybody know/ can someone going to the solo show scream at father Robin and ask what tuning he uses on guitar for his cover of "Courtyard" by Bobbie Gentry? It's stunning and I saw on his IG story. Thank you love you all
I think, at least in my perspective, the album follows a very focused story and each song seems almost like a chapter to this narrative. A protagonist, possibly a former marine, wanting to reunite with his former love and escape urban life to the rural Eden of Innisfree.
