Hi! I’m working on recreating a specific sound from this video in FL Studio but am running into some issues. First, when I open the FL Studio filter, I don’t see any modulation options for the envelope. I’m also unsure which plugin is equivalent to the Velocity plugin used in the video, or how to map it to an LFO the same way. Could anyone guide me through the easiest way to set this up? How to make melodies in FL? I tried making chords and trying to make melody using them but I am not able to get any ideas or could not build any rhythm can anyone guide me on how I can make them?

Do I just slap it on the insert where I'm recording the vocals? And then delete the compressor once I start EQing, de-essing, add more compressorsm etc,? Or do I need some hardware

I am a complete beginner for DAWs and I have been watching YouTube videos for couple of days. I did watch videos for ableton and FL studio but can’t figure out which daw should I stick to? Can anyone guide me what should I do and also recommend some of the good YouTubers who can teach me everything about basic(I have 0 knowledge of music currently learning about chords and trying to make different melodies using chords but unable to make them sound good)

I don't know if I'll be clear but I'll try. I'm using the LAB plug-in which is amazing and I trying to find out out to fit the boobass tune to the lab tune?

I drop the lab tune to -1 to get some vintage lofi sound but then I'm wondering how to make the boobass fit the tune ? I always have this problem with all my plug-in. If I dowtune one then I don't know how to find the equivalent note/chord/tune/pitch in another plug-in.

so you know how you can clone regions by using cmd+r on logic. how do you do that on fl studio? (on the mac version)

Very new to all of this, so I'm probably asking something very obvious but I need help. Basically the sound from the sample continues past the end of the sample, beyond the yellow line if that makes sense. How do I get the sound to end at the end of the sample, before the yellow line?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Whenever I try to use decimort with UMC ASIO driver on in fl studio I get annoying white noise no matter the preset. if I turn the fl studio driver on it works just fine. the audio interface is behringer umc204hd.

Hello again community. I'm still a novice to music production and am in the early phases of picking my tools. I've settled on the idea of using an MPC as a tool, an FL Studio as my DAW. I'd use the MPC sometimes in conjunction with FLS, and sometimes FLS instead of the MPC. Mix and match. The flexibility suits my style.

The question I have is this: I brought home an MPC Key37. It has an very good keyboard with polyphonic aftertouch. I've also brought home an FLKEY37 to compare. But I'm such a novice to FL Studio that I don't know if the features before me are indispensable. If they are not, I'd probably go ahead and stick to the Key37 and map it. Panning through instruments in the channel rack was easy enough out-of-the-box for the MPC. I imagine the Scale Chord for instance could also be mapped.

However, if the FLKEY37 is a substantial boon, big enough to overcome the nicer keys on the mpc37 and it's polyphonic aftertouch, as well as convenience of an an all-in-one package that still works nicely with FL Studio, then I might consider returning the mpc key37 in favor of getting the MPC One+ and keep the FLKEY37.

Anyone have thoughts on this? I think the matter is little different than choosing any other midi controller like, say, an Arturia minilab, except the answer to the question "will you be using the controller for anything else other than FL Studio, the answer is emphatically "yes!"

I keep getting this message every time I open a new FLP. I’ve been ignoring it since I’m not using FL Cloud, and I haven’t noticed any issues in my projects.

My questions are:

• does it really matter given my situation?
• How can I solve this issue if needed?
• And what would be the benefits of using FL Cloud?

I'm using fl studio 20 and I'm trying to open my folders to my kits, but it won't open the folder & only says "search cancelled" on the hint box. This has never happened before. I'm unable to update my program further to fl studio 2. Please help

Happened after I tried switching to a different audio device that wasn't connected. FL Studoo stopped responding so I restarted it. Now I get that sample rate (44100 HZ) error message. I tried installing the newest FL Studio and Asio4All but it ain't coming back up. Any other way I might be able to open to Asio panel besides through FL? Other ideas? Thanks.

I would need to know how to use Reason Rack Plugin on FLStudio or if anyone knows any clear videos explaining it. How to write melodies? Why can't I use the piano roll once I open the plugin? Thanks in advance to everyone

Someone who is supposed to be a feature on my album sent me their vocals with the adlibs on them for me to mix and because he lost the session, I can't adjust the volume of the adlibs on their own. Is there a way to only quiet down the adlibs?

Tried flatpak bottles and dnf provided bottles, can't get FL to install. Bottles keeps saying installer is not well configured.

Anyone got any tricks to get FL working on Linux? I'm on Fedora.

i know this is not really fl studio related but it was worth a shot for that one person who knows what's going on. so i bought autotune and for some reason when i would load Antares autotune central it would take for ever to load and it would give me a "Windows Command Processor" yes or no and when clicking yes it would just keep loading and eventually never load. when i click on the loading screen it would just say (Wait for the program or close it) and this would keep happening. even when uninstalling the program and reinstalling the exact same thing happens. if anyone knows anything at all pls let me know

When I record to the playlist, the audio ends up off-beat once I stop recording. Here’s what I’ve tried

Lowering the buffer length helps a bit, but if I reduce it too much, the playback gets glitchy and stutters, and if i put it too high to stop the glitching, it gets very delayed. Right now i keep it at a middle setting and i get some delay and some glitches. I’m using a Focusrite Solo interface, but I don’t have headphones that can plug into to it, so i keep it at the default fl studio audio device. I tried using the track latency compensation, but it doesn’t seem to make a difference.

Ive had this issue for a long time and i gave up but now i want to make music again. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
