Secondly, it takes effort and time to write a good critique. We expect you to respect that and post your best work. No snapshots, low effort photos, post photos that you actually put some effort into. DO NOT post photos and ask “is it any good?’ or “How did I do?” If you don’t know don’t post it.

RULES

  1. Expect negative comments, so do not get defensive when someone criticizes your photo.

  2. Keep critiques factual, polite and respectful. We will not tolerate rude or demeaning comments.

  3. Comments like “Great Job” or ‘Great Photo” are not critiques and will be deleted.

  4. Critiques should focus on the flaws in the photo. You can state what worked but the focus of the critique should be about the flaws!

  5. Post requirements. If you do not follow these guidelines, posts will be deleted. a. Title should start with FTF and include basic EXIF data, (ISO, Shutter speed and Aperture) b. After posting the photo add a comment briefly telling how you took the image and anything that is relevant.
