Rebooking the AEW World Championship in 2024/Bryan Danielson's Retirement

AEW has had an undoubtedly tumultuous year. Despite the new arrivals of some of the industry's top talent, it hasn't been able to balance its main event scene with consistency. Though the standard has been high given AEW's history, and most of what we have seen has been fantastic, it has left a lot to be desired now we have reached the end of the year.

The changes we make to the world title scene is going to start at Worlds End 2023. The event where MJF lost his AEW World Championship to Samoa Joe. The first change we're going to make is switching out Samoa Joe. Sure, he is a legend and his run was thoroughly entertaining, however, he didn't have many natural challengers and mostly took a backseat while other stars rised up the cards, the notable example being Swerve Strickland.

In our first case of striking-when-the-iron-is-hot, following his win over 'Hangman' Adam Page at Full Gear 2023, he is going to go to Worlds End and be the one to dethrone MJF in the main event. The end of 2023 was, in my opinion, the height of Swerve's aura, and this could've been capitalized on.

Swerve Strickland def. MJF (c) to become AEW World Champion (18:53)

The Continental Classic

The C2 is not for the Continental Championship. The Continental Championship never becomes a thing. What we get instead is the winner of the Continental Classic being the one to challenge for the AEW World Championship at Revolution, truly making it AEW's G1 Climax, and ensuring a blockbuster world title match at AEW's first PPV of the year.

We are changing who wins the Continental Classic as a result. Due to a time limit draw between Bryan Danielson and Eddie Kingston, Ricky Starks goes on to the final, beating Brody King at Worlds End, who had an undefeated block in the C2.

DYNAMITE - Swerve Strickland (c) def. Rob Van Dam

Swerve Strickland (c) def. Rob Van Dam (14:51)

A TV main event, and Swerve's first defence of the AEW World Championship. Despite RVD not being an AEW regular, he is a legend in his own right, and adored by fans. He calls out Swerve, congratulating him on his AEW World Championship win, but also wanting to 'gatekeep' the main event, claiming he sees a lot of himself in Swerve, including his daringness, his resolve and how much he thrives in a brutal environment. Swerve wins fairly convincingly, having gained the respect of RVD.

REVOLUTION 2024 - Swerve Strickland (c) def. Ricky Starks

Swerve Strickland (c) def. Ricky Starks (23:05)

I see an absolute money match here. The promos in the build up would include witty back and forth, as these two prove themselves as the certified future of All Elite Wrestling in this matchup. Despite winning the C2, Starks comes up short.

March of 2024 sees the arrivals of both Will Ospreay and Kazuchika Okada into All Elite Wrestling. We're keeping Ospreay the same to start with - defeating Konosuke Takeshita at Revolution and Bryan Danielson at Dynasty. With no Continental Championship, Kazuchika Okada will be without a championship for now, as he is instead brought in as part of the 'Elite vs AEW' story, being the wild card difference maker on the side of The Elite, as he takes on the likes of Darby Allin early in his AEW tenure.

DYNASTY 2024 - Swerve Strickland (c) def. Pac

Swerve Strickland (c) def. Pac (26:28)

Pac goes undefeated to start 2024, and becomes a natural contender for Swerve's AEW World Championship. We're going to make sure Swerve main events here to give him more legitimacy, closing out the show by retaining the championship and staring down with Will Ospreay, who defeated Danielson earlier in the night.

DYNAMITE - Kazuchika Okada and Swerve Strickland go to a TV-time-remaining time limit draw

Kazuchika Okada vs Swerve Strickland (c) ends in a time limit draw (17:30)

It is mid-May, and in two months of being in All Elite Wrestling, Kazuchika Okada has dominated every single opponent he has faced, INCLUDING Darby Allin. Naturally, being an ally of The Young Bucks, they grant him a world championship opportunity against Swerve Strickland, hoping that he can win so The Elite can control the main event scene in AEW once again. However, they go to a TV-time-remaining time limit draw to protect both men.

DOUBLE OR NOTHING 2024 - Will Ospreay def. Swerve Strickland (c)

Will Ospreay def. Swerve Strickland (c) (33:27)

It's the main event of Double or Nothing, a clash of the two best in the world. Many will dislike my choice of having Will Ospreay win the belt here. This is another instance of striking-when-the-iron-is-hot. Ospreay quickly became a fan favourite in AEW, even for casuals who did not watch his work in New Japan.

The narrative we want to convey to the audience, is that if Will Ospreay is the best in the world, as most hail him to be, then he, in kayfabe, should be near enough unbeatable. That's how it works in MMA and boxing, and it's how it should work here.

There is story to be told. Following his draw with Kazuchika Okada, Swerve becomes somewhat insecure about his ability to be the frontman of AEW, especially with the new guys coming in to take over the main event scene, such as Kazuchika Okada AND Will Ospreay. As a result, his confidence fails him for once here, and Will Ospreay capitalizes, winning the AEW World Championship. It's got this almost invasion vibe to it, in a sense, with Ospreay putting the whole locker room on high alert as he comes in, doesn't lose a single match, beating one of the GOATs in Bryan Danielson and winning the AEW World Championship.

A lot of the build can revolve around how Swerve had to work 2 years to even get a sniff at the AEW World Championship, meanwhile Ospreay comes in and gets an opportunity after only 3 and a half months of competing. Ospreay wins, closing out Double or Nothing as we go into the Summer. Ospreay promises a second Summer of Ospreay.

DYNAMITE - Will Ospreay (c) def. Rey Fenix

Will Ospreay (c) def. Rey Fenix (19:59)

Ospreay's first defence of the AEW World Championship comes in mid-June, as he intends to prove himself as a fighting champion. He main events Dynamite, defeating Rey Fenix in a spectacular singles match. After the match, Ospreay states that although he has the AEW World Championship, he lusts for more. He knows that there is another world champion on the All Elite Wrestling roster, and he firmly believes that there is space for no more than one world champion in AEW. Therefore, he calls out a man he has unfinished business with, Jon Moxley, the current IWGP World Heavyweight Champion.

With Forbidden Door coming up, Ospreay states that both him and Moxley have something the other person wants. Ospreay cannot sleep at night knowing he never held the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship in front of a full, vocal audience, and until he does that, he will never see himself as proper world champion material. Although he chose AEW for his family, and to prove to himself he can do it on any continent, in any arena in the world, the title which Moxley holds is the only tangible thing which is holding him back from his ultimate self.

At Forbidden Door, it is Champion vs Champion. The AEW World Champion vs The IWGP World Heavyweight Champion. Jon Moxley vs Will Ospreay. Winner Takes All.

FORBIDDEN DOOR - Will Ospreay (c) def. Jon Moxley (c)

Will Ospreay (c) def. Jon Moxley (c) (25:33)

At Windy City Riot 2022, Moxley defeated Ospreay in controversial fashion. At Wrestle Kingdom 18, these two couldn't finish their business due to David Finlay. Here, they finally get that one-on-one match they wanted, and Will Ospreay proves himself as the Best in the World, as he defeats Jon Moxley in the main event of Forbidden Door with Bryan Danielson watching ringside. Mox, as the Ace of AEW, vowed to humble Ospreay and show him that he is a small fish in a big pond in AEW, however that wasn't to be as Ospreay becomes double world champion. The Second Summer of Ospreay is truly underway.

THE OWEN HART TOURNAMENT

The Owen Hart Tournament goes underway to decide who will be the one to challenge Will Ospreay for the AEW/IWGP World Championships at All In at Wembley. The tournament features some New Japan talent as well, such as Shingo Takagi, who faces Bryan Danielson in the First Round.

The tournament features most big main eventers in AEW, including 'Hangman' Adam Page, Swerve Strickland and Bryan Danielson. Hangman and Swerve get their first singles encounter since Full Gear, with their rivalry heating up again as Swerve intends on winning back the AEW World Championship at AEW's biggest event of the year. Swerve beats Hangman yet again in this tournament in the Quarter Final, however, in the Semi-Final, Hangman costs Swerve the match against Pac, meaning we get Pac vs Danielson in the final with the winner going to Wembley to face Will Ospreay. Danielson beats Pac, securing his spot for the Wembley main event and a rematch with Will Ospreay.

DYNAMITE - Will Ospreay (c)(c) def. Lance Archer

Will Ospreay (c)(c) def. Lance Archer (9:41)

These two have a lot of history, including an iconic G1 Climax 2019 match in which Lance Archer won. As both have history in AEW and NJPW, it makes sense for Archer to be a challenger for both the AEW and IWGP World Heavyweight Championships. Unlike other world title matches this year, this match is notably a fast pace, which is a formula these two normally follow in their singles matches. Ospreay wins in his first successful defence of the double world championships.

THE FINAL COUNTDOWN AT WEMBLEY STADIUM

Bryan Danielson vs Will Ospreay (c)(c) for the AEW and IWGP World Heavyweight Championships

Under the arches of Wembley Stadium, Bryan Danielson puts his career on the line in a rematch of a bout that many called the greatest match to ever take place on American soil, just a few months prior. Danielson knows full well that Ospreay can lead on a legacy of being the best in the world - a moniker Danielson held for many of years. However, Danielson considers himself - being the kind of man Bryan is, he believes that if he cannot be the best, than he does not want to wrestle.

If he cannot beat Will Ospreay in the most important match of his career, than he knows he hasn't got what it takes to be the best anymore. For that reason, the winner of the Owen Hart Tournament, Bryan Danielson, puts his career on the line against Will Ospreay in the biggest match in AEW history, in the main event of All In in Will Ospreay's home country.

Through scale and magnitude, the match is already a bigger deal than their first match in April, justifying the bout's existence. Swerve vs Danielson was great, however we're saving that match for what is in my opinion a more appropriate occasion down the line. This is the money match to main event Wembley.

Bryan Danielson defeats Will Ospreay, becoming both the AEW and IWGP World Heavyweight Champion, proving himself as the Greatest of All Time. Danielson states that now he is not working by a contract, as he was expected to go home to his family. But he will defend each of those championships, and until he loses them, he will not retire.

Danielson has one goal - to have matches for these titles in the Big Four venues in the world on his retirement run - Arena Mexico, Madison Square Garden, Wembley Stadium (ticked off) and the Tokyo Dome.

G1 Climax winner Zack Sabre Jr and Nigel McGuinness stand atop the ramp as All In comes to a close.

Now, before we go into the final stretch of this booking, something key needs to be noted

- AEW Grand Slam 2024 is being moved from Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York to Madison Square Garden.

ALL OUT - Bryan Danielson (c) def. Daniel Garcia

ALL OUT - Bryan Danielson (c) def. Daniel Garcia (41:33)

We get Swerve/Hangman and Garcia/MJF at All In. Garcia wins the latter, picking up the biggest win of his career, and shoots his shot for Danielson's AEW World Championship for All In. Rekindling an iconic rivalry from 2022, these two have a great rubber match to their feud in which Danielson picks up the victory, endorsing Garcia after the match.

Nigel McGuinness calls Danielson out for Grand Slam: Madison Square Garden, in which Bryan accepts.

DYNAMITE GRAND SLAM MADISON SQUARE GARDEN - Bryan Danielson (c) def. Nigel McGuinness

Bryan Danielson (c) def. Nigel McGuinness (38:53)

In a match many thought would be Bryan's last, he goes up against arguably the biggest rival of his career, Nigel McGuinness, ticking the second venue off his retirement run in the form of Madison Square Garden. This match gets plenty of time in the main event, and goes completely ad-free to accomodate the scale and excitement surrounding the match. Danielson wins.

CMLL NOCHE DE CAMPEONES IN ARENA MEXICO - Bryan Danielson (c) def. Templario

Bryan Danieslon (c) def. Templario (23:18)

Danielson ticks off the third venue on his list in the form of Arena Mexico, as he successfully defends the AEW World Championship against one of CMLL's top stars in the form of Templario. Danielson is called out by The Ace of NJPW, and its President, Hiroshi Tanahashi, who states that he is neglecting the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship, and challenges him for Destruction in Kobe for the belt.

DESTRUCTION IN KOBE - Bryan Danielson (c) def. Hiroshi Tanahashi

Bryan Danielson (c) def. Hiroshi Tanahashi (21:40)

A long-awaited dream match between the two best wrestlers of the 21st century in the twilight in both of their careers, this is a beautiful match and Danielson's first official defence of the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship. He defends it successfully against Hiroshi Tanahashi, however, Zack Sabre Jr confronts him after the match, stating he is enforcing his G1 Climax clause at King of Pro Wrestling, and if Danielson wants to make it to the Tokyo Dome, he is going to have to get past him.

WRESTLEDREAM - Swerve Strickland def. Bryan Danielson (c)

Swerve Strickland def. Bryan Danielson (c) (27:00)

Both in their home state of Washington. Bryan Danielson's last ever full-time match on American soil. Following losing the AEW World Championship to Will Ospreay in May, Swerve spiralled, leading him back to Hangman Page, who brings out the most villanous, most visceral Swerve Strickland. But that conflict with Hangman is just what Swerve needed, it lit the fire under him to regain his confidence and chase after the AEW World Championship, to regain it.

There is a sense of inevitability on the night of WrestleDream. At this point, Danielson has wrestled 3 title matches in the last 3 weeks, and Swerve seems unbeatable. It is a spectacle of a main event, with Swerve defeating Bryan Danielson and regaining the AEW World Championship in his home state.

To get the most heat, after the match, the Blackpool Combat Club turn on Bryan in his home state of Washington. Wheeler Yuta tries to help Bryan but is held back, as his revenge run will start now to avenge Bryan and attempt to become the evolution of Bryan Danielson.

KING OF PRO WRESTLING 2024 - THE RETIREMENT MATCH

Zack Sabre Jr (G1) def. Bryan Danielson (c) (56:42)

In Bryan Danielson's final full time match, just days removed from WrestleDream, he faces a man so often compared to him in the rubber match of their three match series, as Zack Sabre Jr uses his G1 Climax challenge to ensure Bryan Danielson will never see the Tokyo Dome again. It is a drawn out match, with callbacks to all of Bryan's most iconic matches throughout the years, it is truly a loveletter to his career, with ZSJ being the perfect dance partner for Danielson's final fulltime match.

ZSJ puts down Bryan once and for all, and after the match, Danielson and ZSJ embrace, with ZSJ thanking Danielson for all he's contributed to the industry. Although Danielson didn't get to tick off the Tokyo Dome (although he did face Okada in it to start 2024), the run was triumphant enough to cement him as the Greatest of All Time, and with ZSJ, he knows that wrestling is in good hands.

The American Dragon sleeps.

Fantasy Booking PPV

So for the all your wrestling website, soon we are going to get as many people together to do a fantasy wrestling draft using wrestlers from any era. We will only draft 20-30 people.

The different part of this draft is we aren't booking a promotion, but just putting out one pay per view event. So you are literally just drafting to book one show and that's it, just a one off fun thing to get people invested into the site.

Once everyone posts or the deadline is due (idk like 2 weeks to book) or whichever comes first, we will open up a poll to see who did the best dream card.

I also think maybe doing a side mini draft for championship belts. Like if you want to use a the winged eagle belt you would have to draft it first. I say 6 belts to draft? That way not everyone is booking an Intercontinental belt or whatever

If you're interested comment below and thanks!

Rebooking AEW part 7 - Thanksgiving & Homecoming Dynamite Specials

Last time at AEW Full Gear; Jericho retained the AEW World Title after Omega accidentally hit Moxley with a baseball bat, Cody Rhodes survives the Lion’s Den match against Jake Hager, Adam Page cheats to beat Kenny Omega in the World Title Eliminator finals and much more.

Road to Thanksgiving Dynamite Special

The Dynamite after Full Gear, Hangman is ready to wrestle Jericho right there and then, but Jericho refuses. He offers Hangman some time to go away and prepare so he can stand a better chance than last time. On the next show, it is announced the week that the Inner Circle plan to hold a Thanksgiving ceremony in honour of Chris Jericho who has sculptured AEW with his own hands. It is also announced that Chris Jericho will defend his title on the show and in honour of Thanksgiving, the opportunity is given to a handful of wrestlers lower on the AEW rankings. Darby Allin wins a multi-man match to earn the opportunity. Also on the 20th November Dynamite, the Dynamite Diamond Ring Battle Royal took place with the final 2 facing off here for the ring. The final 2 were MJF and Orange Cassidy, who lazily rolled out of the ring and avoided wrestling at all. Finally, after the events of Full Gear, Moxley is very pissed off about losing the match and fully holds the Elite responsible. He warned them to stay out of his business, they ignored him. Now he has a grudge to settle. Kenny Omega comes out on the 20th November episode and publicly apologises to Jon Moxley for costing him the match. He promises to try and make this right, he will try and convince management to reward Moxley a rematch at the title.

November 27th 2019 - Thanksgiving Eve Dynamite

Inner Circle Thanksgiving Ceremony - Chris Jericho comes out with a woman on each arm, the red carpet is rolled out for him and the ring has food and alcohol on display. Jericho takes full responsibility for AEWs success thus far and leads a “Thank You Jericho” chant from the crowd. Jake Hager comes out and thanks Chris for being an honest and humble leader, giving him a bunch of tickets to an upcoming Winnipeg Jets game. Santana & Ortiz come out and they say Chris is the most down to Earth, kind hearted soul. He is like a father to us all. Santana introduces a masked bartender named Pablo, he is at Jericho’s service 24 hours a day to create any drink he desires. Jericho pulls the mask up to check his face, saying he knows how wrestling works and had to be sure it wasn’t an ambush. He orders Pablo to make him a martini. Ortiz gifts Jericho with a certificate, which declares that Jericho is a citizen of Puerto Rico, officially part of their heritage. There is no sign of Sammy Guevara, then out comes Darby Allin dragging a zipped-up body bag with Sammy inside. Darby kicks him down the ramp still in the bag and points to Jericho and his title. Jericho is mad and promises to squash Darby in minutes.

Dark Order (Evil Uno & Stu Grayson) vs Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus) - A solid 10+ minute TV match, the Express have a good showing but they cannot match Dark Order. Post match, Evil Uno demands the Best Friends face them with the tag titles on the line.

Awesome Kong vs Big Swole - Kong is steal on an unstoppable run through the women’s division, Big Swole is the latest of wrestlers trying to step up and take down the veteran. SHe gets some licks in, but it is another dominant win and another trophy claimed. Kong wants a title shot and claims no one can stop her, but Nyla Rose comes out and thinks otherwise, staggering Kong with a headbutt. They exchange blows, Nyla sends Kong out the ring, standing tall for now.

Medical Update from Dustin Rhodes - 2 weeks back, Hager attacked Dustin in the parking lot and targeting his leg and ankle. Dustin appears with JR in a private interview and confirms that there is a bone fracture and some ligament damage. He is not going to be able to wrestle for a little while, but he warns Hager that when he is back, he will seek vengeance.

Death Triangle (PAC, Pentagon Jr & Rey Fenix vs Strong Hearts (Cima, T-Hawk & El Lindaman) - Not much story content here, just a 6-man tag with some talented wrestlers. They get 25 minutes to work a great match, PAC makes T-Hawk tap to the brutaliser submission.

Cody Rhodes promo - Cody Rhodes is unbeaten in AEW so far, very few people can say that and he thinks that warrants himself an AEW World TItle match. He knows that Allin and Hangman are first in line, but he thinks he should be next. During his promo, two men walk down the ramp towards Cody. They introduce themselves as the Butcher and the Blade. They say they are here to collect a bounty that has been placed on Cody’s head. The Butcher & Blade destroy Cody in the ring, they are run off by the Young Bucks coming to his aid.

AEW Women’s Champion Bea Priestley & Sadie Gibbs vs Hikaru Shida & Yuka Sakazaki- Shida continues her feud with the women’s champion and enlists the help of a friend to fight her and Gibbs. After a 10 minute match, Bea is taken out with the Katana knee and Yuka hits her with the Magical Girl 450 splash to win, Sakazaki pins the women’s champion.

Jon Moxley promo - Moxley talks about Full Gear and admits he was pretty hot about what happened. After has had time to calm down, he realises that Omega was just trying to do the right thing and he thinks that they can work this out. Moxley invites Omega down for a chat. Kenny comes out looking relieved. Once he is in the ring, Moxley begins to speak before dropping Kenny with a vicious headbutt. He tells Kenny the way they can resolve it is by having themselves a good old fashioned fight. Kenny smiles and lunges at Moxley. They have a brawl in and out of the ring until they are separated from each other.

MJF w/Wardlow vs Orange Cassidy for Dynamite Diamond Ring - Wardlow debuts on camera a few weeks earlier beginning to accompany MJF everywhere. When asked about it, he says that everyone in AEW is forming little cliques and factions, so he hired himself some personal protection just to make sure no one tries anything with him. As the match begins, MJF offers Orange to just lie down and take the loss without getting his ass kicked. Orange stands there and says nothing. MJF insults him as the hands go in the pockets. MJF continues to insult Orange as he throws the lazy shin kicks, but as he takes a couple steps back for the “big” one, Cassidy drops MJF with a superkick for a 2 count. Cassidy goes on a hot streak with some offence, showing what he is capable of if he cares. Wardlow grabs at his foot, causing a distraction for MJF to take control. He eventually beats Orange with the heat seeking missile.

Kris Statlander promo - Statlander is backstage and talks about the women’s division, she begins to talk about the title as Sadie Gibbs walks past and tells her she is not in their league. Statlander boops Gibbs and leaves.

Chris Jericho (c) vs Darby Allin for AEW World Championship - Jericho waves to the back during his entrance, bringing his masked bartender to come out too and make him a victory drink. Chris comes into this match very over confident since Darby is smaller and less experienced than him. That works against him and gives Darby opportunities to counter him and take control. Jericho begins to take Allin seriously as the match goes on and is able to hit some big moves. Allin shows a lot of heart and resiliency as usual, but he comes up short losing to a Codebreaker from Le Champion. Jericho celebrates, he walks over to his bartender for his celebrity drink and he gets glassed! It is not Pablo under that mask, it’s Adam Page. He stomps Jericho out and drops him with the Buckshot Lariat, running off before the Inner Circle arrives. He stands in the crowd and taunts.

Road to the Homecoming Dynamite

On the Being The Elite following Full Gear, Kenny Omega is sounding off about Adam Page to the Young Bucks and Brandon Cutler. When Hangman walks in, it all goes quiet. Adam tells Kenny he hopes there are no hard feelings, he did what he had to do to win. Omega still seems in disbelief and he tells Hangman that he is going to need some time to get over what just happened. Hangman leaves and Kenny continues berating him. He questions them ever bringing Hangman along in the first place and that he is not ready for the main event scene. His rant is overheard by MJF. The following weeks we don’t see much of Hangman who is laser focused on training for Jericho, he calls this a chance to make things right and his most important match ever. He doesn’t consider losing an option, because he doesn’t know what that could do to him. MJF keeps trying to speak to Hangman, but he keeps telling him to fuck off. Jericho will make Hangman pay for ruining his Thanksgiving and promises that this will be a carbon copy of what happened at Double or Nothing.

The Inner Circle vs The Elite feud continues as the heel faction keeps making life difficult for them. Santana & Ortiz as well as the Young Bucks want the title shot available during the Bash at the Beach 2 week special, taking place on Jericho’s cruise. They agree to a rematch to take place at the Homecoming show. Jericho is also the number 1 suspect for hiring the Butcher & the Blade to attack Cody Rhodes on the Thanksgiving episode, since he was talking about a World title match. Jericho would love to take credit, but he swears that it wasn’t him, though Cody isn’t totally convinced. Cody gets himself a match against the Butcher & the Blade at the Homecoming show but he is in need of a partner. MJF says he has pulled through for him and introduces his partner… Shawn Spears. Cody is initially pissed but MJF is adamant Spears wants to make amends. Spears humbly apologises to Cody for what he did, he was hyped up by Dustin and he was mad about being eliminated from the Casino Battle Royal, but that doesn’t excuse what happened. Cody doesn’t accept his apology. MJF says he already got the match booked with Spears as his partner, and urges Cody to give him a chance. Cody warns Spears that he will run him out of the company if he tries anything funny.

The Dark Order have been pestering the Best Friends, viewing them as inferior and undeserving of being champions. As well as this, they have been stalking Darby Allin wanting to recruit him to their faction seeing him as a perfect fit to serve the Exalted One. Allin refuses. The Best Friends offer to team with Allin against them but Allin also refuses them. He prefers to work alone. Darby goes into a match vs Dark Order 2 v 1 on December 18th Dynamite and he cannot win, made even worse when the Dark Order introduce two new members, John Silver & Alex Reynolds. In a 4 v 1 situation, Allin is rescued by Best Friends though Orange lazily walks down, not contributing a whole lot. Allin offers to return the favour to Trent and Chuck, but he asks Orange if he is going to pull his weight. Orange says “dunno.” A 4 v 4 is booked for the homecoming.

Following their fight at the Thanksgiving Dynamite, Omega is furious and he demands that he and Moxley meet in a match sooner than later. Moxley loves the idea and wants to match too, but Tony Khan refuses seeing this as a volatile situation that can only get worse. He orders them to sign a no contact clause except for during official matches.

Awesome Kong has been unstoppable for months. The only person that ever stood up to her successfully was Nyla Rose in the Casino Battle Royal. Kong sees her as the trophy she needs, it would be her proudest. Nyla Rose understands that it is up to her to end the destruction caused by Kong. This clash of the titans is booked as a Last Woman Standing.

January 1st 2020 - Homecoming Dynamite Special

Kenny Omega promo - We were scheduled to begin with Dark Order vs Best Friends & Darby Allin, but Omega comes and brings a referee with him. He tells Moxley to come down here right now, they are going to have an official AEW match and Omega is going to kick his ass. Moxley comes down and they begin an impromptu match!

Kenny Omega vs Jon Moxley - This match does not last very long. It is a chaotic brawl between two people who hate each other more by the day. After a few minutes of fighting, the action spills out the ring and into the crowd. They brawl up the steps and out of the main arena area, the referee rules the match a no contest.

Dark Order (Evil Uno, Stu Grayson, Alex Reynolds & John Silver) vs Best Friends (Chuck Taylor, Trent Baretta & Orange Cassidy) & Darby Allin - Back to the scheduled programme. This is a 10 minute tag match with 2 stories. We have the Dark Order vs Best Friends, the former wanting to win so that they would be within their rights to get a title shot. That isn’t the main story though. The main story is between Allin and Cassidy. Allin as usual is fighting with his entire heart and soul, but Orange spends most of the match lounging around or interacting with the crowd. Allin aggressively tags Orange in to actually wrestle, but again Orange just fools around with his sloth style. The animosity reaches a limit and Allin slaps the hell out of Orange. He takes his glasses off and for the first time looks very serious. This fallout gives Dark Order the opening to attack, hit the Fatality and win the match.

Omega/Moxley continued - Cameras have caught up with Omega and Moxley who are still beating the crap out of each other all over Daily’s Place. They end up leaving out of the main entrance to the stadium, going out onto the streets.

Death Triangle promo - PAC warns Jungle Boy, Cody Rhodes and Darby Allin that they cannot stop him from achieving his goal of being the AEW world champion. Lucha Bros warn Jurassic Express if they have a problem with that then they can enter the ring with them to deal with it

The Butcher & The Blade w/The Bunny vs Cody Rhodes & Shawn Spears w/Arn Anderson - Cody seeks revenge but is too distracted by who is his partner to be fully on his game. Throughout the match though, Spears is the perfect partner and does not mess with Cody once. He even makes the save numerous times, more than proving that he is indeed trying to help Cody win the match. The Bunny gets herself involved, leading to Brandi Rhodes to come out and take her out. Cody pins Blade after the Crossroads. Spears offers a handshake, Cody hesitantly shakes it.

Omega/Moxley continued - Cameramen have once again caught up with these two rivals who are legit just fighting each other in the street. They make their way towards the sports bar in Daily’s Place and continue to assault each other. Security have managed to make it there this time and drag them away from each other.

Christopher Daniels quits - Frustrated with a lack of success for SCU, Daniels takes the blame for their failures. Scorpio Sky and Frankie Kazarian disagree, but Daniels is convinced he is failing them as a partner. Daniels quits SCU and teases that he might never wrestle again.

Nyla Rose vs Awesome Kong, Last Woman Standing - This doesn’t go very long, nor does it need to. This is a 5-10 minute car crash between two behemoths. The short match length is to protect the aging Awesome Kong. They leather each other with stiff strikes, power moves and weapons. Nyla puts Kong down with an Air Raid Crash off the stage through a pair of tables. After her hand is raised, Nyla goes and cuts off a lock of Awesome Kong’s hair, claiming a trophy. This will be the end of Awesome Kong’s run in AEW, she goes away to film soon after this and then her contract expires during the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Bea Priestley promo - Priestley is out with her ally Gibbs and announces her planned title defence against Shida will not go ahead at Bash at the Beach after she attacked her. Tony Schiavone has the unfortunate news of informing her that she will still be defending her title, against Yuka Sakazaki.

Santana & Ortiz vs Young Bucks, number 1 contender match - A rematch from their clash at Full Gear with a title shot at stake. This goes 15+ minutes and the Young Bucks are in a good rhythm throughout, it looks like they might finally get a shot at the tag titles, but it was not meant to be. Sammy Guevara drags out their friend Brandon Cutler onto the stage, he is bloodied. They hesitate for a second, but ultimately decide to help him. Nick runs out and fights with Guevara, which was all part of the plan as Santana & Ortiz capitalize and defeat Matt Jackson, left on his own. Young Bucks are frustrated with their loss.

Omega/Moxley continued - Omega and Moxley have found themselves fighting again backstage. The security are already dealing with it and they have police with them. Omega and Moxley are both restrained in cuffs. Omega is forced to stay put whilst the other officers escort Moxley out of the arena. As Kenny is sat waiting, Adam Page walks by on his way to the ring for his title match. Omega stands up and tells Hangman he does not believe that he can defeat Jericho, he is not good enough. Kenny is escorted away, Hangman looks visibly rattled by Kenny’s remark.

Chris Jericho (c) vs ‘Hangman’ Adam Page, AEW World Championship - In the early stages it is clear Page is nervous and he makes a few silly mistakes but he manages to recover. The match goes smoothly at first, similar to their first encounter and Hangman is anticipating the Judas Effect. Adam grows frustrated when he can’t put Jericho away. He hits him with every move he has, including his Buckshot Lariat and Deadeye finishers. Jericho won’t stay down. Hangman unravels and he thinks about using a weapon but that will just disqualify him. He loses his composure and all of the time he spends overthinking and panicking, he gets caught in an O’Connor roll and pinned in a flash. Jericho retains. Hangman sits there afterwards, he doesn’t move and he looks emotionless, dead inside. The show ends with a close up on a broken ‘Hangman’ Page.

World Heavyweight Championship

CM Punk(c) vs Seth Rollins

-Wrestlemania 41 Night 2

Undisputed Championship Ladder Match

Cody Rhodes(c) vs Kevin Owens vs Randy Orton vs Sami Zayn

W: Cody Rhodes

(After the events of Elimination Chamber, Cody would return as the real Undisputed Champion. In his feud with Kevin Owens, Randy Orton and Sami Zayn would also get in the mix. Randy would want his payback both on Cody and on Kevin, while Sami would want to make the prizefighter a good guy again, but he would also want a title opportunity...Here at Mania, Cody would ultimately retain in this ladder match, proving that he is the true undisputed champ and reachin 2 years as champion.)

Women's US Championship

Chelsea Green(c) w/ Piper Niven vs Bianca Belair

W: Chelsea Green

(After losing her feud against Nia Jax, Bianca would challenge Chelsea for the US Championship. Here, the E-S-T would come very close to win, but she would be attacked by a returning Jade Cargill! The storm would finally reveal who attacked her back in 2024: the attacker was non other than Bianca Belair!)

Hell in a Cell Match

Damian Priest vs Finn Balor

(The final match of the never ending rivalry between Balor and Priest would be here, inside Hell in a Cell! After this match, Priest would go to Smackdown, Finn would take a break and Dominik would become the new leader of the Judgment Day!)

IC Championship

Bron Breakker(c) vs John Cena

W: John Cena

(After almost winning the title inside Elimination Chamber, Cena would ask Bron for one last title opportunity at Mania: Bron would accept, and here John would finally capture the only title he never captured! He is finally a grand slam champion!)

Women's World Champion

Liv Morgan(c) w/ Raquel Rodriguez & Dominik Mysterio vs Rhea Ripley

W: Rhea Ripley

(After months and months, the demon in your dreams would finally be able to get her hands on Liv, beating her and becoming the new Women's World Champion! Is this the end for Judgment Day!)

Tag Team Championship

DIY(c) vs The Usos vs G.O.D. vs MCMG

W: The Usos

(In this match, the four biggest names of the tag team division of WWE would compete for the Tag titles. In the end, the Usos would become the new champions, 2 years after losing the titles!)

Bloodline Rules Match

Roman Reigns vs The Rock

W: Roman Reigns

(Finally, the match we've all been waiting for... Roman and Rock would clash here, in the main event of Night 2, to prove who the real tribal chief is! In this match, Roman would win against his cousin, becoming the undisputed tribal chief! This would also be Rock's final match in WWE.)

And that was part 1 of my Fantasy Booking Series! Stay tuned for the post Wrestlemania season!

AEW Worlds End 2024

Confirmed matches with predictions:

  • Adam Cole def. MJF to win the 2024 Dynamite Diamond Ring
  • Konosuke Takeshita (c) def. Powerhouse Hobbs to retain the AEW International Championship
  • Tijuana Street Fight: Mariah May (c) def. Thunder Rosa to retain the AEW Women’s World Championship
  • Jon Moxley (c) def. Adam Page, Jay White and Orange Cassidy to retain the AEW World Championship
  • Mercedes Mone (c) def. Kris Statlander to retain the AEW TBS Championship

Continental Classic Finals:

  • Semi-Final match: Ricochet def. Kyle Fletcher to advance in the Continental Classic
  • Semi-Final match: Kazuchika Okada def. Claudio Castagnoli to advance in the Continental Classic
  • Tournament Final: Kazuchika Okada (c) def. Ricochet to retain the AEW Continental Championship

Additional matches I’d book:

  • Hook def. Christian Cage (We know that Cage was responsible for the attack on Taz, leading Hook to try and hunt down The Patriarchy’s leader. Sure Hook will first have to get through Kip Sabian and Nick Wayne but let’s not drag this feud on too long. Feuding with Cage is helping Hook show off a side that he couldn’t in his feud with Chris Jericho. The blowoff match will be a big step in Hook’s career and have a fun, personal edge thanks to the attack on Taz.)
  • Private Party (Isiah Kassidy and Mara Quen) (c) def. Action Andretti and Lio Rush to retain the AEW World Tag Team Championship (Since beating The Young Bucks, PP haven’t been given a real story to sink their teeth into. Their title win was one of AEW’s best moments of 2024 so that needs to be capitalised on before the opportunity disappears. Rush and Andretti earned a title shot on Collision recently so AEW should try and make this into a mini feud rather than a random match. Plus, it might breathe some life back into the tag division ahead of 2025.)
  • Daniel Garcia (c) def. Shelton Benjamin to retain the AEW TNT Championship (On last night’s Christmas Collision special, Garcia and Benjamin faced off in a Continental Classic match. When The Hurt Syndicate laid out Garcia at Holiday Bash, it led me to think Benjamin would get the win at Christmas Collision to help set up this match. However, that didn’t happen and Garcia got the win last night. I still think this could be a fun match to add on the PPV and give Benjamin his first big spot in AEW.)

How would I have booked Wrestlemania 7

In this series I will make my own version of the worst WWE PPVs and I have decided to start with Wrestlemania 7

Wrestlemania 7

Legion Of Doom vs Demolition winners Legion Of Doom

(Simply a great collision between the best tag teams of that time)

Big Boss Man vs Dino Bravo winner Big Boss Man

Jake "The Snake" Roberts vs British Bulldog winner British Bulldog

The Undertaker vs The Barbarian winner The Undertaker

(The Deadman's first victim at Wrestlemania is The Barbarian)

Intercontinental Championship

Texas Tornado (c) vs Earthquake winner Texas Tornado

(Earthquake believes himself to be the best in WWF since he is a giant and now says he wants the Intercontinental Championship, Texas Tornado accepts the challenge saying that he will finish off the pretentious Earthquake)

Hacksaw Jim Dugan vs SGT Slaguhter winner SGT Slaguhter

(American Battle: The American Hero vs The Foreign Villain)

Million Dollar Championship

Ted Dibiase (c) vs Virgil winner Virgil

Virgil betrayed Dibiase at Royal Rumble and now he wants to end everything he cares about (Dibiase first burned all his money and now he will take away the Million Dollar Championship at Wrestlemania)

Tag Team Championchip

Hart Fundation (c) vs The Rockers winners The Rockers

(A battle to see which technical team is better)

Carreer Match

Ultimate Warrior vs Macho Man Randy Savage winner Ultimate Warrior

(same history only Perfect takes the WWF Championship from Warrior at Royal Rumble and after the match the same moment of Savage and Miss Elizabeth occurs)

WWF Championship

Mr Perfect (c) vs Hulk Hogan winner Hulk Hogan

(Mr Perfect says that he is the best wrestler in WWF and that is backed up only by seeing that he is the WWF Champion but Hogan says that he is fed up with Perfect believing himself superior to everyone on the roster so after winning the Royal Rumble he will now be his challenger at Wrestlemania 7)

Booking a John Cena heel turn (Part 2)

Part 2 - John Cena helps The Rock take control:

Raw, December 2nd, 2024:

The first Raw after Survivor Series, Triple H is backstage on the phone leaving a message saying "Shawn, Road Dogg, where the hell are you guys? We're about to go live.". The Rock simply walks right up alongside him though and says "No use now. Come on, you've run these shows plenty of times before, what's stopping you now?". The Rock's music hits and Triple H sits back in his seat as The Rock makes his way out to the ring, stepping through the ropes and grabbing a microphone to make the following announcement:

"Ladies and gentlemen...please welcome...the new John Cena."

A new theme song then hits as a new titantron pops up and out comes John Cena wearing an expensive suit and looking far different from his previous self. He steps through the ropes and The Rock hands off the microphone to him, taking in the loud sea of boos that the fans throw at him for a few minutes before finally speaking and saying the following:

"...You can fucking see me now, can't you?..." *loud sea of boos + "fuck you, Cena" chants from the crowd + some cheers at hearing an f-bomb dropped live on WWE TV* "...NOW y'all care about John Cena, huh?...NOW y'all care now that I announced my 'retirement' from WWE, huh?..." *more boos + some cheers* "...Speaking of which...right about now you may be thinking to yourselves...'but John, didn't you announce your retirement tour for 2025? What are you doing here in 2024?'. *he is then heard laughing over the microphone* "Y'all really thought it was that easy?...Haven't you figured it out yet?...I'm not just a wrestler, I am an actor. And a damn brilliant one too!..." *crowd boos and cheers some more* "The past nearly 20 years of my career has been the greatest performance of my entire life...13 WWE Championships...3 World Heavyweight Championships...5 United States Championships...2 WWE Tag Team Championships...2 World Tag Team Championships...5 time Wrestlemania headliner...2 time Superstar Of The Year Slammy Award winner...39 movies and counting...18 award nominations...and over 650 Make A Wish's come true..." *crowd yells "What?!" after everything Cena lists* "THAT'S what...and all because I knew exactly how to ride the wave of this company's system and stay 2 steps ahead of everyone. Let's rewind a little bit, shall we? The year is 2005 and the event is Wrestlemania 21. I'd won the Royal Rumble match and earned the right to face JBL for the WWE Championship...and I won it. You people were finally so excited to see their beloved Doctor Of Thuganomics as the face that runs the place...but there was one problem...the Ruthless Aggression era was slowly but surely coming to an end and WWE was taking a more PG turn...management had to do anything to keep their precious sponsors, and that meant the Doctor Of Thuganomics wasn't gonna survive on the rest of the journey...but John Cena would. The doctor's death was John Cena's beginning because once the PG era started, the vision to my successful future was crystal clear...I would create a character so PG...so family friendly...so suitable for the type of program that was being pushed...and what was the result? Millions of people believed it, just like how millions of people believed my little retirement speech, and I became the greatest of all time both in the ring and out of the ring! And no one suspected a thing...but hey, can't say I'm surprised, that's just the idiotic WWE universe for ya. What else did y'all think I meant every time I said 'you can't see me'? Because none of y'all ever could see the real John Cena. Y'all never could see the path that I saw and clung to and rode all the way to the finish line..." *crowd boos and cheers again* "...Which brings me to today. Why am I here and why did I do what I did to Roman Reigns?...The answer is simple...because of each and every one of you marks in this crowd tonight..." *crowd only boos now* "...What I did at Survivor Series, I didn't do it for Solo Sikoa...I sure as hell didn't do it for any of you...I did it for that man right there..." *points to The Rock* "...and most of all I did it for me. I stuck my neck out for this company and created moment after moment after moment after moment after moment after moment for everyone, and yet I still heard the same old 'Cena sucks' and 'you can't wrestle' chants. At the time I didn't mind at all, and originally I wasn't even gonna do this big reveal for all you simpering idiots...but the more I saw of the way you reacted to the wrestlers on this roster, the more angry I got. Y'all spent almost 20 years wanting something new and different out of John Cena's boring old family-friendly marine persona, but yet Roman Reigns clearly hasn't changed a damn bit and still don't give a damn about his family or anyone around him and you cheer him instantly the second he's back. And why is that huh? Because he failed? Because he pissed away his 1,000 plus day Undisputed WWE Championship reign at Wrestlemania 40 to Cody Rhodes? THAT'S what it takes for you to like him after you spent the last 4 years hating him?!..." *crowd boos* "...I may have beaten this company's system, but it is you who keeps it impossible for everyone...but not anymore...my time is still now...and everyone else's time is up...welcome to the John Cena show..." *he then turns to The Rock* "Dwayne, you've held up your end of the bargain and helped me get my foot back in the door, and I appreciate that...now what do you say I do the same on my end?..."

The Rock nods at John Cena's words as Cena steps out of the ring, reaching under it and grabbing a sledge-hammer as the two of them head to the back. Once in the back, the two of them approach Triple H who appears to be watching something on his phone in horror. He looks at Rock and says "What did you do?! What the hell is this?!", revealing what he's watching on his phone to be video footage of Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu attacking Shawn Michaels in his home while Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa are attacking Road Dogg in his home. Triple H then goes to hit The Rock but John Cena to begin hitting him with the sledge-hammer repeatedly as Adam Pearce and several backstage producers go to try and break it up, only to be stopped by The Rock who simply yells "Don't any of you bitches think about it! Don't forget The Rock is on the TKO board of directors! He's your boss and he's his boss! Anyone intervenes and you don't have a job anymore! Spread the word throughout the building!". Rock and Cena then drag Triple H out to ringside while everyone else is powerless to do anything and Cena continues the sledge-hammer shots on the game, targeting his chest as The Rock applauds him. Before it can escalate any further however, Sami Zayn comes running out armed with a chair, causing John Cena to flee through the audience and Sami and Rock to fight one another which ultimately sends Rock fleeing as well. Following this attack, Triple H is immediately rushed to the hospital as the announcers comment on the past cardiac issues that he had had in the past and that the sledge-hammer shots that Cena delivered to him may have possibly done some serious damage to his heart.

Raw, December 9th, 2024:

The next night on Raw, the show opens with a surprise appearance from Triple H's wife, Stephanie McMahon. She is there to give a medical update on Triple H and she informs fans that he has suffered from a septal defect in his heart and that he is currently undergoing surgery, and this then leads into her saying that John Cena and The Rock will get what's coming to them after what they've done. Sami Zayn's music then hits and he comes out to the ring, first expresses his condolences to Stephanie and to her children but then says that he will make sure that what happened to Triple H and what happened to Roman Reigns at Survivor Series won't happen to anyone else and that he wants John Cena in a match. Stephanie however says that as much as she wants to grant Sami the opportunity to whoop his ass, she unfortunately doesn't have any position of power currently in the WWE to make that match happen, and this is when John Cena's new music hits and the champ comes out and stands on the ramp. He cuts the following promo:

"Cut my music..." *crowd boos* "...Stephanie McMahon...long time since we've seen you around...but forgive me if I missed something, but all this here just ain't adding up...why exactly do you even give a shit about Hunter after he forced you into marriage by knocking you out and sending you through a drive-thru chapel?" *crowd goes wild at that comment* "...*poorly mimicking Stephanie* 'oH! oH! b-bUt JoHn, hE cHaAaAaNgEd! wE hAvE kIdS nOoOoOw! hE's NoT tHaT pErSoN aNyMoRe!'. Yea sure, and next do you want me to say that the act I put up for the last 2 decades was real?... *crowd still goes wild but boos more now* "Let me tell you all a little something about Triple H: He's got a position of power here in this company not just because he's the son in law of the previous owner, but because he bullied his way through every single damn part of his whole career. And I do quite literally mean his whole career. His entire Hall Of Fame name and all his world championship reigns were all because he felt that since he was daddy's little boy he deserved to be at the top and couldn't bear to see anybody else in the spotlight but him, and thus he would cheat and skip the line to every opportunity there was..." *crowd boos again* "...And yet that's the same guy in that big boss's chair back there that you're praising today just because he books half-baked dog crap that he only wishes was as good as the 261 bangers that me and Randy Orton put on for all you ungrateful idiots. Yea, Triple H, the same guy that got so cocky he thought it'd be a good idea to throw let's just say 'offensive' remarks at Booker T on the buildup to Wrestlemania 19 just for a cheap reaction. That's the same guy you're praising today for 'saving' WWE. The same guy that..."

*Sami Zayn interrupts Cena and says the following*: "Oh would you just shut up already???..." *crowd cheers* "...Ya know something John...I'm gonna give you credit where it's due. You really fooled us. You fooled all of us...but here's the thing: You already had a Hall Of Fame worthy career by doing what it was that you were doing. You could've kept your legacy as positive to everyone here and let 2025 be your final moment of glory and walked off with everyone remembering all that you've contributed, because regardless of whether you were cheered or whether you were booed, no one could take away all that you've done..." *mixed crowd reactions* "...but unfortunately, we now see that you prioritize your own ego over all of that..." *crowd cheers* "...What you did to me and Roman Reigns at Survivor Series. Helping The Rock take control just so that you could make your way back here. Everything you said last week. Don't pretend that you did any of that because of the fans. The truth is John; you're jealous. You're jealous that WWE could survive without you. Jealous that there were others that could earn the same star power as you did and others that could earn the fans's respect to go with that!" *crowd cheers*

John Cena speaking: "...*laughing* "What, like you? Like Roman Reigns? I said it last week and I'll say it again, all it took for these idiots to care about Roman Reigns was for him to lose his title to Cody Rhodes and then get his ula fala taken by Solo Sikoa, and apparently that was enough for him to be worthy of said star power and be redeemed in their eyes despite the fact that he ain't changed at all..." *crowd boos* "...Which brings me to you, Sami...and here's the thing: despite what I did to you at Survivor Series, I don't hate you. In fact to some degree I respect you. You saw an opportunity to rise to the very top of the food chain just like I did, and you took it. You saw Roman Reigns and his little bloodline were out making names for themselves, and so you latched onto their coat tails, renamed yourself to Sami Uso, and did anything you could to get to the top. You wanna know why you couldn't stay there though? It's because you're weak. You let your spirit, your thoughts, your feelings, and your emotions get the better of you and prevent you from doing what was necessary to ensure success in your future. And look at you now. All you are now is a man. An ordinary mediocre man. A man with no title, a man with no opportunities knocking, and a man with no future. Ladies and gentlemen, this is Sami Zayn: The biggest 'what if' of the modern era."

Sami Zayn speaking: "Awfully bold of you to say that as if I'm on my last legs here, John. I realize you were on a part time schedule, but clearly you haven't been paying attention for the last 5 years. Since you wanna talk about success so much, why don't we talk about something I've done four times that you could never once do in your career no matter how hard you tries: win the Intercontinental championship!" *crowd cheers at that*

Cena gets pissed at this comment and starts making his way to the ring, Sami ready to square up as well. This however leads to Adam Pearce coming out to put a stop to it:

Adam Pearce speaking: "Whoa whoa whoa, hang on a minute. Now John, you and The Rock and The Bloodline might have taken out DX, but I as your general manager of Monday Night Raw am still here. Sami, Stephanie, you both want to see John Cena get what's coming to his, and after last week, frankly so do I. So here's the deal: This Saturday, at the return of Saturday Night's Main Event, it will be John Cena vs Sami Zayn one on one! And that's official!"

Saturday Night's Main Event, December 14th, 2024:

John Cena vs Sami Zayn - Singles match:

Cena and Zayn kick off the show in the very first match and it is a very back and forth match between each man, Sami showcasing his blend of fighting styles, while John's new side is shown clear as day in the match as he occasionally steps out of the ring to take a breather any time Sami has the offense while also attempting to perform underhanded tactics every time he has Sami on the defense. There is even a neat little spot in the match where Sami gets a bit of momentum going and brings the fight to Cena in a way that mirrors the start of Cena's first ever match against Kurt Angle way back in Smackdown 2002. At one point however once Sami has Cena in the corner and is preparing for the Helluva Kick, The Rock's music hits and the final boss comes out to stand on the ramp, distracting Sami and giving John enough time to grab a chair and hit Sami over the head with it. This all happens right in front of the referee however, but right as the ref is about to disqualify Cena, The Rock gets on the mic and says "Charles Robinson! Hold your call there and don't even think about ending this match in disqualification, boy! You've been here since 1997, and it'd be a real shame for you to get fired after all those years for not listening to your boss, because that's what's gonna happen if you ring that damn bell!". The referee is then forced to let Cena keep hitting Zayn with the chair and it is here that we see another side of Cena's heel persona come out as he shows a more aggressive side of him (one would say ruthless aggression ;D), specifically targeting Sami's neck. John then lifts Sami up onto his shoulders for the Attitude Adjustment, but halfway through the move, he brings Sami down and causes his head to land on his knee before proceeding to lock in an advanced version of the STF. This hold is so powerful on the now damaged neck of Sami that it causes him to pass out, and forces the referee to ring the bell. John Cena wins by TKO.

After the match however, Cena continues the assault on Sami and The Rock then gets in the ring to join him. As they're doing this though, Jey Uso's music hits and he comes out to save his fellow OG bloodline member, but is unfortunately overpowered by both of the Hollywood stars. The Rock hits Jey Uso with a Rock Bottom and stands tall with John Cena and Cena then grabs a mic and says the following:

"Hey Dwayne...I can't be the only one that notices it, can I? Two more OG Bloodline members have had their asses laid out, and Roman Reigns once again doesn't show up to save em. First Jimmy Uso, then Paul Heyman, and now Sami Zayn and Jey Uso. How does it feel guys? How does it feel to know that your so called Tribal Chief only needs you when-"

But before Cena can finish talking, Roman Reigns's music hits and out comes the OTC. He gets in the ring and immediately Superman punches The Rock before he and Cena begin going back and forth with one another, resulting in Reigns sending Cena over the top rope. Rock then gets back up and begins fighting with Roman again, but Roman eventually hits him with a spear, causing Rock to scream out in pain similarly to how he did at Wrestlemania. Reigns then helps Jey and Sami to their feet with Sami visibly holding his neck in pain as the three of them stand tall and hold up the ones in the air to John Cena who stands on the ramp in shock. The war as only just begun...

I Rebooked: The Summer Of Punk

This is just a rebooking idea I had, and wanted to know if you guys liked this. Please read through.

It’s July 2011, CM Punk has announced that he will be leaving the WWE but still has a match against John Cena for the WWE Championship.

Just like in real life Punk defies the odds, and beats Cena clean to win the Championship. He blows Vince a kiss, and leaves the arena like he said he would. In my booking, I think it’s best if Punk leaves for a bit. Realistically, Vince would never allow Punk to take the title to other promotions so he doesn’t but Punk does stay gone for at least 3 or 4 months.

Now that Punk is gone, Vince McMahon plans on “firing John Cena” but instead gets interrupted by Triple H. Triple H announces that he has been now named COO, and will be in charge. He also announces that Vince is now “relieved of his duties”, he also mentions that while John Cena isn’t going to be fired he is still under hot water.

The next week on Raw Triple H calls out Cena to the ring, and Cena arrives and tries to thank Triple H for “saving him”. Triple H mentions that while keeping Cena around is good for business, he is responsible for allowing CM Punk to walk out with the WWE championship. Cena is floored by this, and doesn’t like where Triple H is going with it. Hunter tells Cena that he’s on “Probation” and that he(Hunter) will be watching over Cena more closely. Cena disagrees with this statement and claims that the finger should be pointed at the the people who can’t keep their talent happy(I.E. Triple H and Vince). Triple H takes exception on that and tells Cena that he’s the boss now, and that Cena should really watch how he talks from now on.

Throughout the weeks, Cena and Triple H are going back and fourth on who’s really to blame for the Punk fiasco. It’s getting to the point where Cena isn’t winning matches due to Triple H watching his every move. Hunter even walks down to commentary and watches Cena. Cena has enough of this and challenges Triple H to a match at Summerslam, Hunter laughs at this and simply says “You’re on”.

Cena vs. Triple H will be a trilogy starting at Summerslam, and ending in a hell in a cell match at said PPV

At Summerslam, Triple H beats Cena after minimally using his powers of authority to win. (He simply tells the ref to stop counting while the two brawl outside the ring, and to stop getting in his face whenever he has Cena in the corner). This completely distracts Cena as he is wondering what is coming over Triple H.

Cena challenges Triple H to a no holds barred match at Night of Champions, due to the blatant disrespect Hunter gave him at Summerslam. This time Cena wins. The two have one more match inside a Hell In A Cell match, due to their complete distain they’ve acquired for each other. Throughout all of this, Triple H has become a little bit more corrupted in his power. Giving himself the main events over the only World Title they have, and getting in the talents faces when they try to object. At Hell In A Cell, Cena wins due to Triple H being distracted by the returning CM Punk. Punk holds his title up to Cena as the PPV ends.

The next night on Raw, CM Punk announces that he’s re-signed and will change Raw for the better. Triple H interrupts him and tells him that he is no longer welcomed in WWE and that he could “flaunt” any signed Contract that he wants. But punk will never be accepted by him (HHH) or the rest of the locker room for abandoning them without a world title. That’s when Cena comes out and demands one more title shot for Survivor Series. Triple H denies him of this, stating the Cena “couldn’t get the job done last time” why should (HHH) trust him this time? Cena mentions that it’s because he beat Triple H last night, and should be in line for a title shot. Triple H solves the problem by making a Triple Threat match for Survivor Series, and Punk just smiles at him.

Throughout the weeks, Punk and Hunter constantly bicker and throw shots at each other with Cena mainly trying to focus on winning the title back. You can definitely tell that HHH hates Punk BTW. At Survivor Series, Punk ends up winning after Triple H goes back and fourth deciding to bash Punk’s head with a sledgehammer. Punk ends up rolling him up with Triple H frustratedly heading to the back while Punk Celebrates. This writes Triple H off for a while.

Now that Triple H is gone, Cena and Punk both start to get into it a bit with the two agreeing on a match at TLC. Cena tells Punk that losing to him at MITB, has made Cena’s life a living hell. However, Cena tells Punk that he did win fair and square so that was on himself. Cena does stress that he needs to beat Punk at Survivor Series to forgive himself for that major setback. Punk just smiles and says “All in the name of business”.

At TLC, Punk defeats Cena clean again. The next night on Raw, Punk is celebrating when Triple H interrupts him. Triple H goes to shake punks hand and says “Punk you’ve earned my respect, I’m proud to have you here on Raw”. Punk shakes Triple H’s hand when Triple H pedigrees him. Triple H beats the life out of CM Punk, and once again disappears.

CM Punk goes livid looking for Triple H throughout the weeks but instead runs into Alberto Del Rio, who tells Punk that he will be cashing in on him at the Royal Rumble for the WWE Championship. Del Rio will have his match set, and does this for a reason: He will inflect damage on Punk throughout the next couple of weeks to make the victory easier. Del Rio brutalizes Punk weekly, due to Punk being to distracted thinking about Triple H. At the rumble however, Punk beats Del Rio barely. (NGL I was never a fan of Del Rio, so I’m making him fail his cash in.)

Punk decides that he won’t wait for Triple H, and tries to focus on the bigger picture: His WWE Championship which will be on the line at the Elimination Chamber event. I would keep the build for elimination chamber the same, and have Punk stand tall. After the match, Triple H returns and once again attacks Punk as the PPV goes off the air.

Triple H has completely turned his back on the fans claiming that they would prefer a deserter over a loyal company man like himself. Triple H finally admits that he was behind Vince losing his power, and that he made his father in law cry on live TV because “that’s what the fans wanted”. HHH had gotten into the Board’s ears, and convinced them that HHH would make for better TV over Vince McMahon and used the Punk situation as leverage. HHH says that he could never understand why someone of Punk’s stature would be able to be so successful, and that Punk is ruining modern day wrestling. Triple H states that he has to destroy Punk himself to save WWE , so he makes it official: Triple H vs. CM Punk at WrestleMania 28.

Punk and Triple H go back and fourth for weeks, Punk calls out Hunter for releasing all of his friends, with HHH claiming that clearly weren’t anything special if they got released. The two get violent, backstage brawls, pure humiliation. Triple H even tattoos the WWE logo onto Punk claiming that Punk will be WWE property forever if he loses(please can we just let this one slide. It’s so personal, it’s so perfect for this feud 😭). Finally it’s CM Punk vs Triple H at WrestleMania. After the tattoo incident, Punk has called for the match to be an I Quit match. After a very violent match, Punk forces Triple H to say I Quit after Punk locks him into a sharpshooter. (Punk would love this as a Bret Hart fanboy. Or fuck it use his anaconda vise if you want). Punk holds the WWE Championship up high and finally destroys that negative reputation he’s had.

That’s my booking! I hope you liked it. I will very quickly summarize the fall out of the other wrestlers that were left out of this booking. (I.E. Chris Jericho)

For Jericho, I would have him reprise his suit gimmick and make him face the Undertaker at WrestleMania. I think that match would hit, and Jericho could’ve been a credible guy if he tried to break the streak. If not Jericho at Mania, then I would personally have taker face Mark Henry. I know they faced off at Mania 22, but it makes more sense here. Henry just came off the Hall of Pain, and could’ve been a CRAZY threat to the streak. But if you don’t like that idea, then Jericho vs. Taker it is. You could also go Jericho vs Bryan, as it would be poetic to have those two face off at Mania for a world title since the last time they faced off was at NXT.

Smackdown 20/12/24 Review

Reminder of what happened on Saturday Nights Main Event (as if we hadn't seen that on last Raw)

Promo for Solo Sikoa and his poor Bloodline, the only thing he says is that he is going to defeat Reings on the Netflix Raw and that they recognize him but is interrupted by Drew Mcintyre who says that they should make a temporary alliance. Solo takes care of Roman and Drew from the rest of the original Bloodline but before Solo gives an answer, Jimmy Uso appears attacking Drew Mcintyre with a crutch causing Mcintyre to escape. On the other hand, LA Knight, Andrade and Apollo attack the Bloodline

6 Man Tag Team Match

Bloodline vs Apollo Crews,LA Knight and Andrade winners Bloodline

Honestly, the match was good in my opinion, but it was predictable that Bloodline was going to win.

By the way, Shinsuke Nakamura attacked LA Knight while the referee wasn't looking, so it's obvious that this Bloodline doesn't win anything cleanly.

Interview with the Motor City Machine Guns where Alex Shelley (who is going to face Jobnny Gargano later) says that they feel betrayed that Gargano has taken the title from them and in such a deceitful way, and Shelley takes the opportunity to tell his partner Chris Sabin to let him go alone to the match against Gargano because he wants to see if Johnny can fight his own battles.

We see again how Chelsea Green won the Womens United States Championship (as if we hadn't seen it in the Intro) and a small interview that seems more like filler

Backstage promo of Kevin Owens where he only says that they wouldn't like to see him angry and what happened on Saturday Nights Main Event was not his fault and it was the fault of Cody Rhodes, Nick Aldis and the Reefers because they robbed him (hey technically they did rob him hahaha although that doesn't mean that you lost at your own game beggar Kevin Owens loser

small segment of Ciampa and Gargano where Johnny asks Ciampa not to accompany him to his match and Ciampa agrees saying that he will stay standing in the locker room until Gargano returns

Grayson Waller Effect with Braun Strowman, nothing to write home about, pure hard filler and Carmelo Hayes arrives to challenge Braun Strowman again (oh my god Carmelito, what are they doing to you? You're pure filler now)

Braun Strowman vs Carmelo Hayes winner Cameron Hayes by Count Out

Terrible fight that didn't last long and then a cartoon-like chase begins where Braun Strowman starts chasing Carmelo Hayes

Extra Thing: MY GOD THE AMOUNT OF COMMERCIALS THERE WERE IN THIS SHOW AND ON TOP OF THAT THEY WERE ALL FOR RAW ON NETFLIX STOP ALREADY!!!!

Nia and Candice segment where they talk and run Tiffany out of the place where they were talking poor Tiffany more and more relegated and I'm starting to like this feud between Tiffy and Candice over Nia Jax haha

The pursuit of Braun and Carmelo continues, nothing to mention

Alex Shelley vs Johnny Gargano winner Johnny Gargano

good fight I liked it

At the end of the match Ciampa helped Johnny by distracting Shelley but Sabin came to chase him and when Shelley began to defend himself he launched himself with a cross body on Gargano but Johnny reversed it and made a count to get his way and win the match.

We review what happened at the Raw On Netflix Kickoff

Interview with Bianca and Naomi, honestly, who cares? It looks like Naomi was the one who attacked Jade Carghill and obviously if it was Naomi, I don't know if they're trying to sell it as a mystery, but if it is, it's a terrible mystery.

Womens Tag Team Championchip

Bianca Belair (c) And Naomi vs Nia Jax and Candice Leerae winners Blanca Belair and Naomi

regular match

At the end of the match, Tiffany appears and in a moment of distraction, Nia asks Tiffany for the briefcase, but Tiffany takes a long time to give it to her, causing Bianca to take Nia and herself out of the match, and at that moment, Naomi performs the split to make Bianca retain and Naimi too? I don't know, I don't understand this, but in the end, Bianca gives the other half of the championship to Naomi.

I give this show, which was tremendous filler, 2 and a half stars.

How would I have Booked Saturday Nights Main Event 2024? (My Universe)

Drew Mcintyre vs Sheamus winner Drew Mcintyre

(In my Universe Sheamus is the one who faces Gunther at Survivor Series (small clarification in this universe at Wrestlemania 40 Sheamus took the Intercontinental Championship from Gunther in a Street Fight) however Drew Mcintyre cost him the match because Sheamus has been saying a couple of comments about his rivalry with CM Punk because Sheamus does not like Mcintyre's attitude and wants him to be the same as always, so Drew cost him the match at Survivor Series and now Sheamus seeks revenge at Saturday Nights Main Event)

World Womens Championship

Fatal 4 Way Match

Liv Morgan (c) vs Kairi Sane vs Iyo Sky vs Dakota Kai winner Liv Morgan

(The story here is that after Iyo teams with others in the Survivor Series match against Team Liv (because in this universe it would be a Survivor Series elimination match and it would just be Team Iyo vs Team Liv) and Iyo didn't choose Dakota for the team so Dakota starts to get mad at Iyo so much that it gets to the point that Dakota defeats Iyo on Raw so she asks to be added to the match on Saturday Nights Main Event (Iyo also wins a battle royal in this universe) while Kairi who tries to stop the feud between her friends defeats Liv Morgan also asking to be added forming everything in a Fatal 4 Way Match for the World Womens Championchip At Saturday Nights Main Event)

World Heavyweight Championship

Triple Threath Match

Gunther (c) vs Johnny Gargano vs Finn Balor winner Gunther

(clarification in this universe Finn Balor defeated Damian Priets at Bad Blood and left him injured)

(Another Clarification in this universe after #DIY went up to the main roster (in 2022) their entire story happened the same as in NXT only with different superstars and because of the World Heavyweight Championchip (which was reconstituted at Summerslam 2016) anyway Gargano took the title from Ciampa at Wrestlemania 40 and Gunther took the title from Gargano at Summerslam 2024)

(After Survivor Series, a fatal 4-Way Match between Finn Balor, Pete Dunne, The Miz and Sami Zayn is scheduled to find a challenger to the World Heavyweight Championchip at Saturday Nights Main Event where Balor wins saying that Gunther can say whatever he wants about being the best Intercontinental Champion although Balor says that he was the best NXT Champion and now he will be the best World Heavyweight Champion but Gunther mocks him saying that Balor the last time he was World Heavyweight Champion he vacated the title the next day on Raw. The following week Johnny Gargano arrives returning after not being seen since Summerslam saying that he never had his title rematch so he wants it at Saturday Nights Main Event although Balor tells him that that spot is occupied by him but Adam Pearce agrees that if Johnny Gargano defeats Finn Balor he will be added to the match, which Gargano manages to do and in the Main Event of that same Raw Gunther defeats Dirty Dominik Mysterio and then says that he does not care if he has to defend against 1,2,3 or even 29 nobody will be able to stop him, and adding that Gargano could not defeat him at Summerslam, now he will be even less able to defeat him after he defeated people like Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, Sheamus or Sami Zayn, in the match Gunther applies double kicks to Balor and Johnny and then applies a Bomb to Gargano and applies a Bomb to Balor on Johnny's body and then covers Balor to retain his belt)

Womens United States Championship

Final Tournamnet Match

Chelsea Green vs Michin Winner Chelsea Green

(Only the championship tournament happens and there is not much history anymore)

WWE Championship

Randy Orton (c) vs Kevin Owens winner Randy Orton

(clarification in this universe Randy won the WWE Championship against Cody at Crown Jewel)

(The Viper after retaining his belt against Owens and Rhodes in a Triple Threath Match at Survivor Series says that there is no one who can defeat him and anyone who dares the only thing he will get is a Pun Kick, however Rhodes and Owens say that they both want another chance so Nick Aldis announces that in the Smackdown Main Event a Cody Rhodes vs Kevin Owens the winner will face Orton on Saturday Nights Main Event where Owens wins and Cody looks a little upset, the following week Orton and Owens have a confrontation and when Orton is going to do the Pun Kick Cody appears to save Owens, in the climax of the match Owens accidentally knocks the referee down after a kick that was supposed to hit Randy at that moment Orton goes for the belt to attack Owens but Kevin defends himself with a kick and does the Stunner but there is no referee then when he realizes that the title is there and grabs it but when he goes to attack Randy with the title a hooded from behind who takes the title, Owens attacks him and ends up realizing that it is Cody Rhodes in that moment of distraction of Owens Cody takes advantage to give him a low blow and hits him with the championship to then leave and leave the title there, Orton takes advantage and applies an RKO to retain)

Final clarification, since it is a retro show, the old women's championship is used, that is, the one from the 90s, the yellow Women's Championship, the old World Heavyweight Championship (although it is not from that time, it can be justified because it is the one that Ric Flair had during his first months in WWE) and obviously the old WWE Championship)

Booking a RAW Roulette episode for 2025

The RAW Roulette wheel would look like this:

https://preview.redd.it/xp6ok7fog28e1.png?width=630&format=png&auto=webp&s=26d05a38d432633ee0c33d8dd17f2909b6e69ea6

Keep in mind, outdated match stipulations such as pillow fight, song and dance and strange bedfellows are on the wheel as well.
