I remember watching this in the late 80s early 90s. I think the question was to name something you eat that starts with an "A". This was to steal the round and the family huddled up to come up with a response. Ultimately, the guy said he wished to go out and answer on his own. He gave the response "arange" (said orange in patois but obviously can't spell lol)
Does anybody know where this video is or does anybody have a copy. I've been looking for it for years. A lot of people don't believe that happened but I watched it and can tell you it 100% did.
They never specify what type car it is
Not important but no family member ever expresses which of the 5 get the car, or do they each take turns using the car. But when the families win the car, look at the camera, smile and act excited as if you’re the only one who’ll be driving it. I know they won’t get this exact car. It’s always the same one. Maybe they’ll get one in their town or $$$ instead of the car. Just curious
I was at a taping of the show for 3 episodes early in the John O'Hurley era. My dad's cousin is married to a former producer. She had a say in hiring O'Hurley and showed us Jack Warner's office. She also worked on American Idol rewind as a side project. Never watched that though because it wasn't my thing.
We met Burton Richardson who was still the announcer at that point. My sister who was born in the mid 90's couldn't attend because she was 11 or 12 and you had to be 13 to go due to the jokes on the show. So she played with producer's (edit) daughter instead.
At the show taping it was interesting because during Fast Money they had to reshoot and restage the questions even though that family lost. They had to act surprised. We saw three episodes that morning and could have seen six but we were done after three. They encourage the audience to say things like "Good Answer" or make dramatic expressions because there are hidden cameras in the audience area.
My dad tried to make conversation with one of the losing families who were packing up their car afterwards. It was kind of awkward but still funny. Those episodes got me to like O Hurley because at the time I was a Karn fan. Both were better than Louie though.
Its hard to imagine feud by anyone other than Harvey now.
I emailed our localprogram director because we lived in a different market and got a schedule of the airings. It was really interesting seeing the episodes air. One of them was an episode asking about what type of dog their boss would be and someone said a shih tzu and O'Hurley was like "saved by a second syllable!" Idk why that stuck out to me.
I've been watching them do fast money for like 40 mins. And there's no repeats.
Anyone gone through the Zoom interview process? (And what to expect) Tips, or suggestions greatly appreciated.
-In 1994, "Family Feud" is canceled due to low ratings. It does not come back for another season with Richard Dawson returning as host.
-Ray Combs is still sad to say goodbye to "Family Feud", but at the end of the last show instead of just simply walking off the set without talking to anyone, he actually does say goodbye and does talk to the contestants.
-Ray still makes guest appearances on other talk shows. In fact, he even has his own talk show for a while. However, it's canceled after only 2 seasons.
-Ray's life does not spiral out of control and he doesn't commit suicide in 1996. This is not to imply that his life was absolutely perfect, peachy and rosy and there was absolutely nothing wrong in his life. But he does not feel all hopeless and powerless to fix his problems.
-In 1999, "Family Feud" is brought back for a third incarnation. Ray is hired as host again. And he's more than eager to host it again.
-When the new "Family Feud" premieres in 1999, their set is largely based on past sets. But there are some changes;
-The Family Feud logo is based on the old one. But now it's on a blue oval with gold letters and a gold outline.
-The families' names displayed on those oval backdrops which are no longer doors that they come out of. And they don't pose like they're posing for a family portrait.
-The oval shaped chase light board is still in use. The board itself is now computerized, but it uses visual graphics that imitate the old manual triton board. For example, when the board changes from the Family Feud title card to the answers, they use a spinning effect similar to how the old manual board rotated.
-The new computerized board still has room for only 8 answers instead of 12 like the old board. However, in the Fast Money round, there's still room for 10 answers.
-Now while Ray Combs is still host, Burton Richardson is the new announcer. Gene Wood retired a couple years earlier. His intro is similar to that of Gene's, but not exactly; "It's time to play the Family Feud! Introducing the (insert family name) family! (Insert 5 names). Ready for action! Playing against the (insert family name) family! (Insert 5 more names). On your marks! Let's start the Family Feud! Now here's your host, Ray Combs!"
-Burton signs off with the traditional Mark Goodson Production closing spiel; "This is Burton Richardson speaking for "Family Feud." A Mark Goodson Television Production." At least he does until 2002.
-Most importantly, the theme song. They used the version that was originally used in the 1994-95 season. That includes all other music cues from that season.
Sorry to go on and on like this. I know what some of you will probably be thinking as you read this; "This guy's got too much free time on his hands." Yeah, okay, maybe I do. But I just had these thoughts and needed to get them out.
It feels like i'm hunting a goddamn cryptid, i saw a short of the episode with pete holmes and jared padalecki and wanted to watch the full episode, but it just straight up does not exist anywhere
Why is each contestant at their own podium in two rows like a classroom today? It's so weird!!!! It looks like Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader lol
I watched an episode where someone chose to pass rather than play: Wittstruck family vs. Beard family from 2017. The question was “what do you look for in a woman now that you might not want in a wife?”
Beard answered “Skills in the bedroom” which was the #1 answer, but they passed to Wittstruck. Beard ultimately ends up winning I think.
I would have chosen to play!
It would be good to know what they should have said other then the #1 answer.
Hello! I'm making a Family Fued style game for my sister's baby shower, and I need help populating the answers!
Could you please take a couple minutes and fill out my survey?

Okay, not endless. Only 101! 😆
But don't worry, you don't have to complete them all! Doing the first 20 would be awesome!
I work with teens and young adults and have been trying to put together some DIY Family Feud games for them. Unfortunately, all the question and answer sets I found online seemed outdated, so I created a google form with a whole bunch of survey questions that should be playable for their age group. Survey takers of all ages are welcome, so click the link below to have your voice represented when we say "survey says."
Are the families on the show always white vs black families? Everytime I watch the show it’s always like that lol
Looking for the episode with the question that has the answer "thought about killing myself" I can find the clips of the answer but for the life of me (ironically) can not find the question. Anyone know this one?
The question that was asked was “what fruit is your husband shaped like” and the contestant said “a hotdog!”. I’ve seen a short of it, but never the actual episode, and can’t find it anywhere from Google
Why do they give some people tons of time to answer and others half a second to answer?
By this I mean won fast money all 5 shows and the car. So I guess the max prize would be $100,000 and a car.

Why do some families ( that did not win the contest) get asked back to the show? Occasionally Harvey will introduce a family as returning, but he never says what happened that brought them back. Thank you for your help.
Obviously one round is more impressive and people keep track of that one, but double round is really interesting because once you pass 200 the count for points stops, and it doesn't matter so i feel like the highest >200 scores are harder to get simply because of how the game works. And I don't recall ever seeing more than 214 between both rounds (after all a lot of those 190s first rounds in the Harvey era only have one further answer counted so they don't get far past 200) So does anyone know the highest Fast money score ever or in a certain hosts era or even just in recent memory between both rounds? Like has anyone ever managed to crack 250? (I have a hunch that any higher benchmark, like 260 and up, would just simply be impossible, because I don't remember ever seeing a higher #1 answer than 58)
The Powerpuff Girls and RWBY both have their own anime adaptions, name a Western animated series that you’d want to have its own anime adaption as well
Lemme know in the comments below
For those of you who are familiar with family feud you probably know what it is. For those of you who don't basically, 100 people get surveyed of a question, and contestants have to guess the top choices that people pick. Here are some ideas that I have.
-Name a coven that you want to join
-Name a character that most resembles you in appearance and/or personality
-Name a character that you would want as you best friend
-Name a character that you would want to go on a date with
-Name your favorite episode
-Name your favorite owl house ship
-Name any show (live action, anime, animation) that is similar to Owl House
-Name a creature you would want as a palisman
-Name your least favorite character
-Name your favorite character
-If you were to choose one character to take down Belos with, who would you team up with?
-Name a character you would want as your roomate
-Name a character you WOULDNT want as your roomate
-You just got to the Boiling Isles suddenly, what is your first reaction?
-Name a character you would go to grom with
-Name a character you would go on vacation with
Anyways, do you have any family feud questions relating to Owl House? Also, feel free to put your answers to any of the questions you want and you can even answer each others questions. Lemme know in the comment section below
