I’m a Schalke fan and we fired Karel Geraerts because our management was unhappy that he didn’t play the players who got bought in summer. In fact our coach was 100% correct as those players aren’t good enough (at least not yet) and got forced to play them. It went wrong and in the end after some catastrophic collapses he got unjustifiably sacked.

Then we hired Kees van Wonderen who is a complete failure. Talks about not being Harry Potter and how he can’t fix everything.

His lineups are questionable and approaches look clueless. Might be one of the worst coaches I’ve ever seen. We just played 0-0 against a rather bad promotion team and his resumee so far are 3 losses with 1 tie while scoring 1 goal

We kloppen onszelf graag op de borst voor goede voorspellingen maar wat is iets dat jij verwachtte en niet uit kwam? Om het startsein te geven mijn twee voorbeelden:

1. Ik verwachtte dat Steijn wel kon werken. Deed het erg goed bij Sparta, en waar hij goed in was, was wel iets dat Ajax mistte. Fysiek sterk zijn, defensief stabiel. Ik hoopte dat hij dit kon toevoegen aan het spel dat wij al hadden en het ons sterker zou maken. Dat kwam niet uit en het leek uiteindelijk nergens op.

2. Eentje die iets meer obscuur is. Ik had gigantische verwachtingen van roly bonevacia. Ik dacht legitiem dat dit de perfecte nummer 6 voor ons zou worden. Fysiek sterk, loopvermogen, en heel erg goed aan de bal. Nou niets was minder waar en hij kon de stap naar het eerste totaal niet maken, laat staan naar de wereld top.

Dacht het is leuk om wat andere misperen te horen van jullie!
