So we’ve all seen the TikTok about the totem compass necklaces almost a year ago and they got me for 5 necklaces. The original sales pitch was they already had them made and our contribution would help them get to us. Many BS emails and post on their accounts have been their “excuses”. Mainly just that they have been “waiting on parts” or “something wasn’t right yet”. They sent out many promised shipping dates. They promised it to me in may before forest this year. I’m curious if anyone else is experiencing this or have any insight? It’s obvious to me they used everyone money up front based on a lie. Their nonchalance is so unprofessional.
Figured I’d post this here. I’m still working on it a little bit but I can’t wait until I can finally lay vocals hehe 🌙
Thoughts?
I feel like it has really great potential and just think about how hard that chorus would hit as an opening track.
I'm sure there's someone here who had a big break for a year or two and did the festival circuit as an artist. What is that like for you? Does it maintain its magic when you have to be there for a payday?
RAVE HAVEN’S LAST 2024 AFTERS 🥲🌱😈
If y’all could post some songs in DNB that’d be amazing trying to get into it but honestly lost in all sub-genres of EDM
Anyone know id of this mau p mix? Sorry if its well known but it’s been bothering me since EDCO24
Only discovered this song today... guy is a genius!
I’ve been listening to this artist for about a year now and can’t really find anything similar, hoping someone can help me based off a couple of his songs. Thanks in advance to anyone that can help!

I've had a corporate job (product marketing / corporate marketing specifically) for around 2-3 years now and have been transitioning into a new role. During this search, I've tried pursuing positions within the EDM space but it's been quite a challenge. I love EDM with all my soul and just want to see myself work in a space I'm passionate about. Any tips / advice for people within this space? I've applied to Insomniac and Live Nation, but that's pretty much all I could find!
I know this question may seem weird to some EDM fans because that's not what determines whether or not a song is good or bad, but other than that, what EDM tracks are royalty free?
Personally, I have a lot of royalty-free favorites because I listen to NCS a lot.
Here my list of my favorite royalty-free EDM tracks:
Thoughts on this new Chris Lake album guys? Think it's an interesting change in direction, definitely not what I was expecting. /s
DJs do not care about your financial situation, do not go into debt to see them.
Currently looking into acquiring some tracks following the Bass House genre (both pre/post transformation).
While I have looked at a few previous posts on this reddit, nothing really came to a conclusion on recommended artists besides the big names (JOYRYDE, Habstrakt). Got an event on a VR platform that's looking for some Bass House music for one of their opening acts in the coming week, and there's a lack of this genre that I'm looking to fix.
Not like the lineup you'd want to see most, I mean like a lineup you'd see in a dream
Anyone have any recommendations for live mixes similar to John summit’s Savaya Bali mix? Here’s a link if anyone’s interested.
I went on Spotify this morning and saw Chris Lake had a new album, which was a surprise. I started listening to it and it was a shitty hip hop album and I was so confused… turns out some random SoundCloud rapper also going by Chris Lake dropped an album, and it got uploaded under Chris Lake’s artist profile on Spotify. It’s been up for 4 hours at least. This is too funny, SoundCloud Chris Lake just got so much exposure for free

Basically as what the title says, let me know how you discovered and got sucked into the world of EDM.
And additional question would be, what was your genre then and how has it evolved now?
No one asked but I’ll share my story 🤣 I was 10 years old when I watched a tutorial for Adventure Quest Worlds on Youtube when Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites by Skrillex was playing as background music. And the first time I heard it, I fell inlove. I immediately looked it up, listen to more of Skrillex songs and the rest is history. It’s crazy how I started liking Dubstep/Brostep to Techno, then Progressive House during my teens. I recall having the hugest crush on Martin Garrix and I went to see him live when I was 14 😆. When I hit my 20s, my main sub-genre shifted into DnB and Melodic Bass.
What’s your EDM story? 😀
