Am I missing something?
Recently I came back to DL to play for a while and ended up in KC cup to play some matches but I encounter this matchup in where I literally WASN'T able to ACTIVATE any effect. I don't know if there's something wrong with the app because this isn't the first time in where I can't do certain actions (there was another match in where I wasn't able to attack with one of my monster to win the match...) or is some kind of cheat but I want to settle this down to see if I missed something. I attach a video of the match.

- The entire shop category. Not much point posting that tab as I only have the bundle mats and none of the buyable ones.

Suggestions on a cheapish hero build?
Relatively new to duel links and the hero archetype is my favorite. I want to build a deck around them but all the heros for meta builds i have looked up seem to be in all different boxes. What would be a good place to start and are there cheaper cards i could substitute for meta cards. I dont need it to be hardcore meta as I play this game mostly for fun.

Suship vs birds
I always tell players that suship always have a good match up vs lyrilusc but for some reason they doubt it. Even if the lyrilusc did not misplay here and search for the continues spell there is only one card that might lose me this game. I would prioritize negating the continuous spell anyway in my turn. This one isn't even the most optimal suship this is just a fun suship dogmatika variant

I had a level 8 monster(Witch of Flowers), another level 1 (NECRO FLEUR) and a level 2(necro synchron) singer. Why couldn't I do trishula level 11? I appreciate any help.

KCC disconnect hack got me.
DL18 in the KCC and winning against a Predaphile with Evil Twins when I suddenl lost due to disconnecting. Super lame as it was lined up for an easy win. Motivation killer.

What has deck have you stuck with the longest in 2024?
2024 I feel like I didn’t spend that many gems over all mainly because I ended up sticking to 1 deck most of the year and it still viable today despite all the massive power creep. To give an example I been messing with all types of decks throughout the year and finally Star Seraph came and man is it fun just playing adaptively and trying to draw a bunch of cards to use to end games immediately. I especially like that its feels amazing going second with Star Seraph. What deck have you stuck with most of the year?

Only 2 Cyber dragons?
So I got Cyber End Dragon and then seen the only way to get a 3rd cyber dragon (Cyber dragon + Proto Cyber dragon are the only 2 in the deck) is to spend real money on buying another deck. Is there something I’m missing or something like Hex seal fusion for rush duels?

What is the Skill you hate the most?
Debating very hard to leave this god awful game or just ignoring the meta... I'm curious about people's thoughts on skills they hate?
Other than Lyrilusc which yes, this skill is starting to be my most hated skill, none can top how much, HOW FREAKING MUCH I HATE BATTLE CHRONICLE. Just today, I lost and it was my last win to reach MAX 20 in the KC Cup.
... Even the word hate doesn't describe how much I despise this skill. This is the skill I loath with such passion that I don't know what to call it. It searches two annoying cards and one of them is Soul Successor. The other, it's restrictions might as well NOT EXIST because they can summon anything from the Extra Deck. They need an effect and only have a Blue-Eyes, summon the Link 1 World Chalice. Want to protect everything, summon Dingirsu. Need to protect itself from specific cards, summon the Felgrand Rank 8. Want to get rid of annoying cards, the Galaxy-Eyes package. THIS PISSES ME OFF. They already have Dragon Master Knight, how much they can summon WHATEVER boss monster to piss me off! NONE OF THEIR CARDS ARE IN THE LIMITED LIST! They can run all the Crackdowns they want to be fuel for SOUL SUCCESSOR! They already have Awakening to search for Alternative. THEY CAN SUMMON DRAGON SPIRIT OF WHITE WITH NO TRIBUTES. How is this fair?!
Bro, they're not even in the meta tier and yet PEOPLE STILL RUN THIS SHIT A** DECK! I've fought Raging Pendulum and Xyz Galaxy before their big nerfs and none come close to this freaking annoying crap. How am I suffering, preparing to deal with Predaplant and the damn birds and lose to this shitty a** deck I hate more than anything in the whole world.
... SIGH, enough ranting. What Skill do you all hate?

How you know it's the KCC
When the subreddit is flooded with conspiracy posts about their opponents hacking them, disconnecting them from games, etc.
I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that this event results in a lot more players PVPing than normal, putting additional strain on the servers.
But sure, people are definitely hacking you.

Question about ghostrick
I used the trap to bounce the ghostrick field spell to play necrovalley and instead of bouncing it to hand it banishes it. Why? A lot of matches I do this it just gets banished? Am I missing something? My opponent didn't have anything on field why does it get banished? Like is it something about my opponent skill? I was playing against shadoll
