So since it rained a bit recently, I didn't bother to go check out my dragon fruit (also it's winter) and when I did, I saw that the top turned a bit yellow, and I saw some orange spots. Is the yellowing related to the orange spots? I think the orange spots were either cactus rust or fungus, can someone clarify?
Edit: And also what can I do to help it?
Hi! I have a dragonfruit that I discovered that it needs light way too late. The top part is better now that I installed a grow light. But the bottom part is really thin. I'm planning to cut the bottom part and sticking the thicc upper part into soil. Will it survive? Should I do it in a 20 lt pot or smaller one? Thank you!
Last bud came in early November last year. First bud in January this year. There's a second smaller one on this plant too.
It was healthy and firm the other day then suddenly became like this😢
I got this plant about a year ago and repotted it once to a bigger pot. I didn’t do much research into them until today when I looked online and saw most dragonfruit plants look much much different than mine lol. Should these little “branches” be separated and planted on their own? Does it need a lot more sunlight? It looks quick spindly compared to others I’ve seen. It’s in a south facing window right now. I live in southwestern Ontario so can’t grow it outdoors year round unfortunately.
Hi everyone, new to this and have seem plenty if Youtube. Unfortunately many of the recommended fertilizers are not available where i am. Any suggestions as to more commonly available fertilisers? My plants are about 2 years old and have only had one ( very poor) fruit. Thanks
Flowered a couple of months ago, now is doing this?
This was my first experience with flowers & this plant used to have a moon cactus grafted on top of it.
Similarly to how citrus stems/trunks are painted.
I found those scratches? Idk how to call them, near close where new branches are coming out, any idea of why and what should I do and if it's harmful for the plant?
This stem hasn’t grown at all in weeks. It’s summer where I live and the stem on the other side of the trellis is still growing rapidly. Any suggestions?
Trying a graft of my palora onto my Thai Red cutting/ stock. Also, found a few good branches I snipped off that have already shifted to 3 ribs. Should I just pot them up?
Looking for some cuttings or smaller plants so I can start grafting.
Crazy amount of fruit this year.
Hi all! I have a small cutting that stared rotting or what I believed to have been rot and had to cut a 12 inch stalk to this 5 inch piece.
Do I remove more of the yellow?
He has been out of the dirt for three days
