Not even sure if this is really a thing. 😂 I know they had one at Michigan Memorial and I've seen groups at Crosswinds. I like to go for walks at the Metroparks and trails but can never get my family to go a long. Honestly I usually enjoy a peaceful solo walk but someone's I wouldn't mind company.
Recently acquired some squirrel meat, there used to be some good stew recipes out of Monroe (based off a famous muskrat recipe)
Anyone care to share, I enjoy the French style stew

My drivers side door on my car is about to break completely. I need a new door completely and I’m looking for a good body shop near Wyandotte that won’t overcharge
I’m a lover of movies, and I wrote/directed this one. I’m having a screening in Hamtramck (not technically downriver). Come on out and check it out and see some landmarks and local inside jokes on the big screen!
What restaurants or grocery stores sell precooked Thanksgiving meals to eat at home? Thanks!
I hoping someone here might help me with some information on the band The Stallion. In the mid 2000's, me and a buddy would go and see some local bands around the Downriver area and The Stallion was great!
I have a few songs on my PC ( I can't remember how I got them) and was wondering if the band ever put out a physical release or if they made music under different names.
Thanks for any help!
All over Facebook people are starting to rebel against the squirrels in wyandotte
As many of you know, a squirrel recently carried out a cowardly attack on wyandotte transformer, whipping out the cities power, they are destroying pumpkins and digging up flower beds at an unprecedented rate
What should we do about the tree rats?
Not sure if this is the right place to ask but I go to college only about 45min from my hometown in Downriver and have been waiting for my absentee ballot for 7 days now, is this a normal amount of time? If anyone here is voting absentee, how long did you wait for your ballot to arrive? I was planning on voting by mail since I don’t have a car here but I fear by the time my ballot arrives (if it ever does) it’ll be too late to get counted.

Anyone seen the McRib anywhere downriver
I grew up in Taylor and have been around Roseville/Lincoln Park area. I'm staying in Plymouth with an ex, these are not my kind of people in the way that they're pretty judgmental compared to what I'm used to, and I am fucking lonely. Does anybody know of any places near Plymouth/Canton that are introvert friendly? Just trying to get out while feeling comfortable in my surroundings.
This has been sitting on the lawn of one of the houses in our neighborhood, for over a month, lol!
Looking for family friendly restaurants that have the option to dine in. We want to try something different and support a local business. Any type of food is welcome.
Thanks!
Edit: thanks everybody for the awesome suggestions! Will definitely check out some of these suggestions.

Yoga 4 Peace has been a refuge for me as I've started yoga recently. The 9:30 beginner class on Thursday is a staple in my week and I'd like it to stay that way, so I'm hoping more people will start showing up so they don't cancel the class. It's only 10 bucks and the instructor is fantastic. Hope to see you there.
I used to go to Puff Danny’s of Downriver for all of my pipes, glass, vape pens etc. unfortunately they went out of business last year and I’m still very bummed out about it. I always got the best prices on everything when I went there and because me and my friends were always chatting with the owner when we went in he used to mark things down for us all the time. One time I purchased a butter maker from there and because he needed to order it from his distributor he gave it to me for 120 dollars cheaper than the original price. Unfortunately the owner explained to us why he had to close and it’s very sad because I could tell he put his everything into that shop.
I’m currently looking for a place that has almost comparable prices to that place. I’ve been to puff factory and everything in there is way overpriced, The Loonar station seemed okay but their selection seemed kind of bare. I occasionally go into little smoke shops when I get my papers and look around but some of the pieces I got there were pure works of art.
hey all, I’ll be staying with a family member downriver for about 6 months. I’m looking for a gym or fitness center that doesn’t require a monthly membership Or contract that I can drop into when it suits me, that has a power rack/squat rack, barbells and big weights. if there is a pool, that is a bonus too.
Ive previously used Allen Park rec center gym, which is only 4 dollars for drop in, but they don’t have a squat rack, only limited dumbells.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
Hi everyone! Please let me know if this isn’t allowed. My partner and I are moving to Wyandotte, and I was curious if anyone knew what the water quality is like over there? Our kitchen sink has a special sprayer attachment at our new house, so I can’t use our Pür filter there, and I don’t know if I need to find another water filtering option.
My son has come to enjoy eggs for breakfast and so I'd like to find some nice eggs. I've went with Happy Egg Co from stores a couple times, but normally end up with free range ones from Aldi. Looking to see what can be found outside stores and what the price point seems to be with a couple dozen at a time.
Anyone know if any 7-11s here have it? I’m visiting and have heard glorious things.

Got some 12-14 year olds that want me to take them to their first haunted house and not sure what’s around anymore.
