When emuating MSC Pointercontrols are out the window, so we agreed to not use them. However, every now and then we accidentally would hold b too long immediately ending the game because every shot would go in.

so i wrote this code which makes all megastrikes score 0. Additionally it adds a layer of skill:
If you hold b for longer than you should, you will lose ball posession.

While this doesnt turn off megastrikes like the in the game cheat code, it at least preserves skill shots while somewhat disabling megastrikes

So I'm trying to connect with my friend who has a mac and I have the steam deck, we tried hosting a lobby and got the message cannot communicate with host, our versions are the same and game is same as well. We tried to connect a random lobby and it worked for us both. He can also join a lobby hosted on windows where the connection type is traversal but I cannot. Although we did connect to a random pub lobby at one point of time. We don't have any ports blocked by our firewall and have upnp enabled. Would appreciate any help Thank you!

Can I transfer my save file from Dolphin to play that same save file on my homebrew Wii (with something like USB loader gx? Or is there a format issue I have to solve first in terms of save file compatibility? And can I transfer that save from dolphin onto my Wii game disc (like only the save file)?

I was just starting up my game (New Super Mario Bros. Wii) but then disaster strikes, every single character on screen started to have a seizure. I tried reseting it, that didnt help. Then i tried backing it up, that did not work either. Please help im stuck.

Is it because it's a skylanders trap team portal and I'm trying to play giants? Idk because I think the newer portals are meant to be compatible with the older games and also whenever I plug it in all the audio on my pc stops.

Usually, it's not an issue. I got a new controller, called Zen pro, and on Dolphin MMJR and MMJR2, the c-stick binds like it can't recognize but two axis. meaning whatever side I try, it does either one or the other.

I tried AetherSX2 and it works fine, as well as any other games. Specifically in this situation.

For some reason Dolphin on my PC is a 50/50 experience: it either works great, or I get absolutely abysmal performance. Games like Mario Sunshine are both, with in-game performance having no problems, but FMVs usually are about 10 FPS and have extreme stuttering. Goldeneye 007 on the Wii is like this constantly, it's completely unplayable. Is there anything I'm doing wrong? I usually use DX11 with exclusive ubershaders

I am so frustrated. I have searched for hours on a fix. I have read threads upon threads for a fix and can;t get anywhere. I am using emudeck on steam deck and just followed literally every instruction to the T for the installation process of the emulators and ROMS. My DS ROMS are working fine. It doesn't matter if Desktop or game mode is enabled. The Dolphin application will not open at all. It has the icon on the bottom task bar for 2 seconds and dissappears. I try launching from the ROM itself on the steam library and the game will do the same. It wont even open at all. I have no idea what to do. I am not a computer whiz, I just followed all the instructions from videos. If anyone has any input or experience with this, it would be greatly appreciated. I want to throw the steamdeck across the room at this point.

Hello! I'm playing the game with my Dualsenses the problem is that I can't get past the rock throwing minigame and I can't unlock the others. I don't know if it's a gamepad thing or if I don't know how to play, but I can't get past it. Is there a trick or something to unlock them all at once? Thanks

As far as I can tell the common factor seem to be rooms with mirrors, the wardrobe room and armoury are especially bad, most of the time the game runs flawlessly.

My Dolphin version is the latest update for the 2409 branch if that helps.

I use keyboard buttons (F, T, G, H) to use the wii cursor with relative input enabled, but i realized the sensitivity is a bit too high to be able to control it easily. Is there a way to lower the sensitivity?

I just created a console setup with a mini pc and configured controller profiles in dolphin, but everytime time I exit the app to go load a game from the home menu the “Wii Remote 2” resets itself to none. I cannot figure out how to fix this and my games will not recognize a 2nd player.

For reference I have 2 8BitDo Bluetooth Ultimate Controllers. I’d really appreciate if I could get some help here as I bought this thing to play with people and this is the only console not working for multiplayer atm.

What would be the best way to play Wii games, specifically Mario galaxy 2, on the Xbox using dolphin? Should I buy a Wii mote? Or is there a way to use the controller effectively? Hey everyone! My Retroid Pocket 4 Pro just arrived, and I am quite excited to play and experiment with it! However, I am most concerned about the battery life as I am doing rehab after a heart surgery and I am outside a lot…

I am kind of hoping that I can squeeze around 5 hours playing Wii games like Super Mario Galaxy 2 / The Last Story / Kirby. However, it seems difficult as the battery drains like 23.5% in 1 hour…. For some reason, the device is too slow when it is set at “standard” mode, so I had to move it to “performance mode” to maintain 60 fps.

Do you guys have any tips…. Or settings for Dolphin or the Android that I can use to limit power use as much as possible? Is there a way to make “standard” mode work better with Dolphin?

PS: Please note I need to keep 2x resolution to reduce eye strain.
