GoldShell Doge II

Just bought my first Goldshell miner new, did the setup and lights are green, now when I setup my pool, it stays gray which per their guide means the pool connection wasn’t successful, I tried 3 different pools, viaBTC, NiceHash and liteSolo and all of them stayed gray (30min waiting)

Anyone knows why ?

UPDATE:

Figured the issue, Asus routers have a feature called Ai Protection which blocks stratum connections, disabling this feature worked with me.

Goldshel Mini Doge III Mining question

Hello! I am thinking of setting up a Goldshell minidoge III with a hotsopot for internet in a remote location that I own. I have a 120v outlet. Is anyone doing anything like this? Would I need a laptop in this location as well or just a hotspot connected to the miner itself? How often would I i likely need to visit it to do any type of service to the rig. Also, will it get hot? There is no HVAC but would be in a well ventilated garage location. Any info that I'm not considering would be much appreciated. Thanks

Hello all, my mini doge miner 2 fried its cables today. I need to replace the PSU, I’m having a hard time finding a good PSU replacement and good durable cables that will also go with it.

What pool should I use?

I have l3++ asic and I tryed using aikapool but it didn't show that it was mining and at fist it sed that the connection is dead.
So I am now searching for a good pool.

Currently using NiceHash to mine but it gives btc and if I wana trade fore doge or something it wants me to give name id etc.
So I need something like platform with pool and maybe trading crypto with 1% fee.

USB Scrypt ASIC

Hello, I've been looking everywhere for a small asic that I could use for mining doge. I'm not really worried about getting a profit out of it, but I'd like to spend less than $100, I just want to mess around with mining DOGE. All the usb asic's that I have heard of, I can't find anywhere, or they don't seem to be on sale anymore. I was just wondering if there were any that are currently on the market, or at least where I should be looking. Thanks!

New to mining

Hi all,

I've been buying doge for a month now and I want to start getting into mining it I have a spare computer that's fairly decent enough to mine from looking at websites showing hash rates etc, but looking into it more I've seen people saying mining on a GPU and not an actually a Mining rig I wouldn't profit or mine any blocks and I will be wasting my time

Can someone give me some serious pointers on whats the best thing to do as the more i look into it the more I'm doubting starting even though i really want to.

Thank you in advance

Starting small

I’m looking at getting a used Goldshell mini 1($200) or a new Goldshell mini 2($400). I’m curious what your thoughts are on the GoldShell Mimi’s are and how many coin could a single unit generate per day? Ive held Doge for years and I’m more interested in long term holding.

Pay less fees using this code at Unminable

https://unmineable.com/?ref=8o5o-2s5j

8o5o-2s5j is my code to get your discounted rates.

If you have any questions let me know.

Also note, the automatic settings are most likely not the best for your setup, check out whattomine.com . Also if you plan on Dual mining using the GPU and CPU, it is doable, if you want to do this message me as I don't want to share this here as it is involved and don't want to play tech support to a bunch of people this month.

Happy mining to all.

Thoughts on the bitcoin halving?

I believe when the bitcoin halving comes around, miners could try to offset their losses by mining other coins that are more profitable. Since Dogecoin is the 2nd top mineable coin by marketcap, how will that affect the price? will miners immediately sell Doge for BTC and bring the price down, or will there be different dynamics?

Is this safe? I hope it is

Hey everyone, got a question on my L3+ miner.

I am currently home mining and the noise from the bitmain psus and huge asic fans is a bit too loud at night.

I used a 750w psu to power my hashboards using sata to 6 pin adapters (powering 3 boards) and i changed the stock 6000 RPM fans to some quieter 1000-1200 RPM fans.

Is this safe to use or will it heat up and damage my boards or even worse, catch on fire?

Thanks

I want to set up a mine

I'd like step by step information on how to set up a mining operation. I can follow a tutorial to make s CD player in Delphi. So, step by step I believe I could set up a small mining operation. I'd also like to know about profitability of running an ASIC, and whether I'd want to aim for Doge and Litecoin, or other pools. Really open, and excited to learn. All help is appreciated.

Help with my 6 L3+

For some context, I bought these machines to heat up my basement/garage/small storage unit during the fall/winter period of time. I am on home electricity and have 2-3 110/120v 15A circuits for a total of roughly 4500W

What is the best settings I can put my L3+ for the most efficient W/MHs ratio.

Here what my current setting looks like:

2 Circuits each 2x L3+ at 660W 490-500MH/s

I plan on adding the 2 other miners on the 3rd circuit but maybe there's a more efficient way to set them up.

Note that I might be able to negotiate the dryer plus which is 220/240v for 15 or something amps.

Please help me optimize my machines for the best W/MHs

Thanks in advance <3
