What do i look out for when buying a used miner? What should i look out for when testing it out? How do i not get scammed?

I saw this and looked up AliExpress revies they seem legit, but this price worried me still expensive but a lot lower than any other place I have seen

OK so, first of all I haven’t spent any actual money on crypto. I’ve been mining it using unmineable and I have a whopping 257 doge 😂

My hash-rate is only around 45-50 using my PC (I’m poor) so I’m wondering if I should join a pool, if so which one? I’ve seen people post about p2pools like hyperdonkey but in all actuality my ADHD won’t let me get through all the posts with the pros and cons.

Is my hash-rate even viable for a pool?

I’m not looking to sell, I’m looking to mine more efficiently with the least wear on my 3070

Hi, I just got my Goldshell e-DG1M. I was connecting it to set up the mining pool and I pressed the button to turn it on. The problem came later because he didn't want to turn on anymore. Any solutions?

my dad has 3 mining pc and one of them just doesn’t light up or work at all anymore. iv tried different cables and everything. the power supply works for the other pcs. i dont use mining pcs on my own but i do have a good understanding of computers (cs major). can anyone give me some basic trouble shooting? here’s what it looks like all plugged in (also please dont be mean i have no idea how to use these LOL)

Is the pool owner(s) pocketing the Doge? The pool has been chugging along at around 75GH the whole time with some peaks up to 300GH for almost 2 months.

I intend to buy Mini Doge 3 from GOLDSHELL. I'm from the U.S.. I don't know where to buy it. Should I just order it directly from GOLDSHELL official website? Are they trustable? If they are, so will be there tariff on their product? How long does it take to ship from China to the U.S. ?

I have an L7 running at $0.16 a kw. I want to create an immersion set up because I got a good unit that hashes at like 10.5GH right now with air cooling. I'm know I can get around 11-11.5GH with the immersion setup.(I have $300 of Dielectric coolant, all the plumbing & a heat exchange with proper cooling) That being said I got the unit for cheap a few months back and know they're selling for like 7k now. Do I immerse it before I sell it?(I have an L9 already ordered). Or do I sell it as an ambient air unit. I know farms would instantly buy my unit if I didn't immerse. But am I wrong to think it would be better as an immersed unit? I feel like it would be more valuable given it would make 1/10th of the noise and have higher hash due to the lower temps & the luck of getting a good unit that hashes more than normal. Saw units with noise silencing selling for premium prices which is where I'm coming from lol.

Anyone heard about the L9 batches being delayed, especially the January batch? If so, until when? Any info on how Bitmain deals with price increases on preorders are much appreciated. Even other coins or past experiences. Thanks in advance!

Hello everyone, I am currently financial controller of an employee owned manufacturing company. We’re actively growing and have millions of dollars in cash in the bank. We’re looking at buying other companies to diversify. I’m very active in crypto and have been since 2016. I’ve been tasked with giving my most creative idea to push bottom dollar growth. We own a whole street of warehouses and get commercial electric pricing. We also have a whole team of maintenance men to build whatever housing unit, cooling system, and electrical hookups necessary. I’m thinking about buying as many antminer l9’s as possible. Probably 30 give or take depending on other costs aside.

What would you all recommend for housing units and any unforeseen costs?

I think if we sprung on this at current prices there is about a 190 day roi given current market conditions. Once we hit that the only extra cost to us is electric, which will be significant, but holding doge till next cycle is the goal here, so we won’t be doing any selling post peak.

Over the past few years I had a very vague thought at the back of my mind that I tried dogecoin mining when I was a kid, but never followed up on it.

For whatever reason, when I woke up today, I decided to look through my emails, and sure enough, I made an account at doge.hashfaster.com

I think I remember making an account there and online Wallet, and let the mining just carry out for however long I did. However, it looks like this site is shut down, and I have no idea if there's any way to transfer my coins there (however many they were) to a wallet.

Am I the digging-through-a-junkyard-for-a-wallet-of dogecoin?
