Pin Trading Basics A trade should take this basic format:
RULES
Selling
a. User must have at least 10 pin trade flair points to post for sale threads.
b. All sale threads must be clearly marked with the flair type [SALE].
c. Prices must be clearly posted (no make your best offer posts) and should be in the title. If you have multiple pins, write “Prices vary”, but the body (or pictures of the pins) MUST contain the actual sale price.
d. PayPal Goods/Services must be used.
Posting (Single Use/Spamming/Self promotion)
a. Posts can't be for a single use (ie close up pics for trades or responding to someone's comment - keep this in the original thread or PMs).
b. Users can't submit multiple posts in a week under the same flair type. Users may only have either 1 Trade, 1 ISO, or 1 Sale post per week. Users should also not post more than twice a day.
c. Users w/ 10 flair may promote their fantasy pin sales provided that sales take place on our sub (no linking to the outside sale); all rules must be followed.
Flair – All posts must be flaired.
Please label each of your submitted posts with the appropriate type of flair!
Real Photos (No PinPics or other stock photos allowed!)
All trade posts must contain photos of the actual pins being traded.
Scrappers
a. If you plan on trading scrappers, they must be clearly labeled as such. Some people may not care if it helps them complete a set or get a HTF (hard to find pin), but they should know they're getting a non-authentic pin.
b. If you are unsure if you have scrappers, reach out to the mods or others on the sub. We can assist you in identifying them!
c. Link with info on how to ID scrappers: https://old.reddit.com/r/DisneyPinSwap/comments/dg9swl/fakescrappercounterfeit_pins_mod_reports/

Below are some links for buying authentic Disney pins. If anyone has a site that they have used that sells affordable AUTHENTIC Disney pins, please message the mods so that we can review and possibly add that source to this list. Also, if anyone has a bad experience with these sellers, please alert the mods.
CollectRandom is a sub favorite. They sell grab bags of Hidden Mickeys and such at very affordable prices (all authentic). Keep in mind that they may not have stock at the moment due to the pandemic.
Pindrella on Facebook also sells authentic pins at affordable prices.
YourWDWStore is less affordable, but still cheaper than eBay! And authentic!
Distradingpins4u is again an affordable way to get some authentic traders! But they also have other individual pins at various prices as well. BEWARE of their lower price individual pins. Most of the pins on their site are authentic, however mods have heard reports that some of the cheaper individual pins could be scrappers sometimes. Packs are ok, higher individual pins are ok - ask for pics of lower priced individuals if possible.
Gopinpro is a trusted seller too. They sell awesome pin books, some licensed pins, and some fantasy pins (as well as other merch).
Kraken Trade also sells some licensed pins and awesome pin books.
Lastly DisneyPinsBlog always has various authentic pins at various prices, as well as the latest pin news!

Does anyone have recommendations for lanyards? I saw the ones on Disney Store's website, but I was hoping to get a Lightning McQueen and a Belle one. I did look at Etsy, but it seems like a crap shoot there, sometimes. Can anyone recommend a seller?
I just posted this in the DisneyPins subreddit. I figured it also wouldn’t hurt to also post here being that sometimes swaps Can sometimes (not always and not all) have slight bends.
I’m kinda new to the pin community and have a small collection. I thought I pushed them into the cork correctly and evenly but supported on all sides but as I moved some recently I see that the backings are bent. All I’ve seen is just slowly bending with needle nose pliers but I’m wondering if it would be a good idea to use a heat gun. Mainly to prevent accidentally breaking them. I was thinking using the heat gun on the pin part for a few seconds to make it maleable. I haven’t seen or read anything about using the heat gun in my small short search. Much appreciated if you do have answers or experience in using a heat gun.
ISO Munchlings, the new UP pins, Baymax, and Winnie the Pooh! Also open to looking at other stuff :)
Here are my new traders! I’m open but mostly interested in Princess and the Frog, Monsters Inc, and Moana!
We're heading to WDW in January. We'll be doing Magic Kingdom two days, and EPCOT and Hollywood Studios one day each. It'll be our kids first time. They will be 12 and 9. My husband and I haven't been since the late 80s. Is it worth to try to get some pins to trade ahead of time? What would be a good source for the pins? I know there are a lot of counterfeit pins floating around, and I don't want to encourage them.
We collect a lot of random things, so willing to look at anything. 😀 would love to find/ ISO: Thanos/ Stitch crashes Little Mermaid/ Death Star/ Evil Queen/ Up
It started out innocently enough with me picking out a couple pins I thought were cute from the pin trading shop, and then somehow I ended up at a Con this weekend and things are very quickly spiraling out of control 😵💫
I made the board myself during Covid and the pins are mostly all real from my trips so far!!! My favs are the fab 5 trolley (my grandpas old pin from the 90s) and the mini chip and dale ones!
What do yall think?
Pins on the fridge cause they weigh-down my hat. And low-key I am jealous of you disney Landers! I think the DL park gets better pins!
Looking for these two pins from the latest hidden Mickey drop at Disneyland. I would prefer to trade, and can send pics of my traders. I have most of the new WDW hidden mickeys, Disney cruise line pins, and other various traders.
Let me know!
Mainly looking for anything Bambi or Oliver and Company related, but I'll look at anything. :3
