Where do you buy your jeans?
For years, I was buying Lucky brand, which fit perfectly, but the last few years they just rip within a month or two. So I stopped dropping back on jeans that we're just going to be ruined. Then I switched to talbots, which fit great, but then 1-2 years ago, I bought a few new pairs and suddenly there are two to three inches shorter!!
I'm 5 ft 10 and my height is in my legs. Help!
Hi! (28F) I moved to Denver with a partner, and he cheated on me (ugh). I’ve since kicked him out and now I’m in the area alone with my cat. I am getting a relatively minor surgery done in mid-December, and have no one to pick me up after. I’m curious if anyone has been in a similar position and what they have done? My parents are both going to be out of the country during that time and my sister is a minor and lives in VA. Any ideas? Thank you in advance :(
Hi friends,
I (28F) recently moved back here and am in desperate need of some community and connection. I’d really like to get involved with some activist / nonprofit groups to contribute to some meaningful change and to meet people with aligned values (especially in this depressive come down from the election results). I’ve been doing my research and finding some great organizations, but struggling to find many with open opportunities for involvement. SO, if anyone here is a part of any groups/orgs that they love and care about or have any insight on this, please share below!!

Hey Reddit,
I’m a 23 yo F in Denver looking to connect.
Just been feeling a bit isolated after a difficult year and trying to change that. In my free time I snowboard, travel, do yoga and art. I’m pretty laid back and open to trying new stuff. Currently in school too. Send me a message if you’d like to talk!
Hi all!
A new event has been scheduled for anyone in their 30s & 40s(ish) in the greater Denver area that is single and/or looking for community. We'll be heading to Dr Proctor's on November 2nd for a fun night of Karaoke and Billiards.
The Eventbrite is for me to track expected attendance - you don't have to sign up, but it helps me plan and get the word out. You won't be asked to provide your ticket to get into the event. Please feel free to share the link with anyone that may want to attend!
We've had three events so far and all have had amazing turnouts and resulted in lots of connections.
If you'd like to join our active community discord: https://discord.gg/vFrvkv9G (link updated 10/30/24)
To keep up with events, there are multiple options:
I plan on keeping these events free to attend. All I ask is that you support the awesome businesses that host us by buying food/drink and tipping well. If you want to donate something for supplies/planning/time/etc you are welcome to ask for my venmo, but it's neither required or expected.

Hi all,
Favorite Pilate studios in the Denver area? I am getting back into my fitness routine and looking for a good, supportive studio! (Also open to other smaller fitness studio recs)
Hi I’m traveling to Denver for the first time next year with my friend and we’re having a hard time figuring out where to book a hotel or air bnb. We’re both women in our 30s and we don’t plan on renting a car so the area being walkable is important. I’ve been trying to research which areas to stay in but I’m finding a lot of conflicting information so I thought I would ask here. So far what I’ve gathered is to avoid Colfax, Five Points, and maybe Capital Hill? We’re coming from Portland so seeing homeless people and things like that doesn’t freak us out, we just don’t want to be robbed lol. Appreciate any help you can offer!
Thank you everyone who took time to respond! This was super helpful and I think we’re going to be looking at LoHi based on the info here.
Hellooo everyone I’m a 26 year old in the Denver area. As I’m getting older I’m realizing my style has not evolved with me. I still do my hair and makeup the same as I did when I was 20! It’s just not flattering anymore. I’m looking for somewhere/someone to help with a makeover. I’d like to change my hair, find makeup that works for my life and highlights my features and discover clothing that works better for my shape.
I have ideas on what I think would look good but I honestly am so lost. Any suggestions would be so appreciated. Thanks !

Hi ladies! I am looking for a tattoo artist in the Denver area. I’m not super picky on what their speciality is, since the tattoo I want is simple. Ideally I would like someone who is kind and reputable! Below are some of the inspiration I have for the tattoo. Let me know what you think :)
For context: Timeleft is a service that partners you up with 5-7 strangers for dinner at 7pm on a Wednesday. They give you a “game” to play which is a digital deck of icebreaker questions, if you want to use it. About an hour in, you’ll get a notification for a bar to go afterwards if you’d like to meet up with everyone else who participated. It’s strongly advertised as a friend meetup only, NOT for dating.
For Denver, you select two different general locations (lohi/RiNo was my option) a price point (I did mid-tier) and fill out some questions and it puts you to a table. It is a paid service, so it was $16 for a one-off dinner. Or there’s also a subscription option. You don’t find out the dinner location until the day of.
——
Anyhow, the restaurant was Blue Agave off of 16th St mall. There were 3 Timeleft tables there. My friend and I carpooled and she was at table 2, myself at table 3. She LOVED IT, and had a table of late 20s-early 30s, mostly single besides herself. My table was 3 forty-somethings and myself and one other girl closer to my age (late 20s-early 30s). Good mix of guys to gals, some diversity at each table. My dinner definitely had more lulls than highs, as we didn’t all click very well. This particular dinner was one guy’s 5th Timeleft experience, and I met another guy who has done it 4 times too.
The bar was Honor Farm Haunted Spirit House. I loved the contrast of the location and enjoyed it much more than the dinner. It was nice to mingle with my friend’s table group and have that existing friend to fall on. It was interesting seeing groups of people from the different dinners trickle in (I’m guessing the higher-tier was there based on a guy wearing a suit?) but since there’s not explicit way of knowing if they did TimeLeft, it felt like a shot in the dark to just approach strangers and ask if they were involved.
Overall I enjoyed it, and would do it again maybe once a quarter or something. I discovered a cool bar and, although my meal was whatever, it was nice to try a new place. I got 3 people’s contacts to chat and hang out with some other time. There were definitely some vocal guys about being the only single ones at a table of married folks, and some guys poking around at who is available. If you plan on it, maybe see if a friend will agree to the same night so you can meet up at the bar afterwards. If you want backup hah.
I am looking for an esthetician I can trust in Denver. I have been dealing with on & off acne for years and have been told a hydra-facial can do wonders.
Hi!! I’m moving soon and have been struggling to find safe neighborhoods around Denver that are also decently affordable? I’m a single mid 20s girlie and hoping to find a 1b1b for around 1600 or less? I am willing to pay a little more for peace of mind but I’d probably cap out at 1750 ish. I lived in RiNo/5 points when I first moved to Denver for 2 years and got really traumatized from being followed home, broken into, and even stalked. I moved all the way to centennial for safety but I work downtown and the commute is awful on i25. As I look around at different neighborhoods, a lot of the information feels outdated. I would like to live somewhere safe since I have a dog that requires long walks. Anyone have recs for neighborhoods or even apt complexes where they feel really safe?
Hey ladies, I’m a late 20s female really struggling with dating in Denver. I’d love to find my person, but I feel like I’ve tried everything and nothing is sticking.
I’m currently taking a break from apps after some pretty bad experiences. For the last 8-10 months, I’ve really focused on putting myself out there and meeting people in person. I’ve focused on my hobbies and spending time doing things I enjoy, tried speed dating (Alamo drafthouse, two birds fit), wine tasting classes, multiple Volo sports leagues, group events meant to just meet and connect with other people. I’m out meeting new people multiple times every week for work, personal hobbies and interests, and/or trying new things, and I’ve developed some really great friendships from this effort. But nothing is coming to fruition on the dating end.
I’ve worked on my shyness, I’m a pretty good conversationalist once I get past the initial bit of being shy, I’ve shot my shot with people I’ve met and have been interested, I’ve had really great conversations at speed dating for them to not turn into matches. I don’t expect the world from these encounters, but I’m struggling to find any opportunity to try and find my person, or even just date! I’d love to know what’s worked for yall outside of the typical recommendations we get for meeting people in Denver - strange places, one off experiences, unexpected meet-cutes. I’d love to hear it all, because I’m at a loss!! Thank you!
I recently had an unpleasant experience with my current primary care provider and ultimately it felt very condescending and like I was being lectured.
Any recommendations on a provider who seems to take concerns from women seriously? I don't necessarily mean I want someone who is a total pushover, but I do want to be talked to like I might actually know what's going on with my body and take my concerns as legit issues that need to be addressed.
Hey all! I am a second year student at CCD dental hygiene and I need a total of 31 patients for the fall semester. I understand getting your teeth cleaned isn’t always a pleasant experience, but I plan to change your mind! Like the title says, pay what you can. Please contact me if your gums bleed, you haven’t had a cleaning in 3 + years, or if you’re due. Let’s help each other. (303) 500-3059
Good morning, babes! I have recently been exploring IVF options as my boyfriend and I want to freeze my eggs so we can genetically test the bebes in their teeny stage (he has hereditary health complications). Additionally, I am 39 and we don't want kids right this second...I know the clock is working against me/us.
I went to Shady Grove, and had a super weird experience. I did all the blood tests, spent all the money, etc, leading up to the retrieval procedure and when it came time to prep for my shots, they asked me if I had secured my medication. I had no idea what they were talking about, but needless to say, I had to source my own medications from specialty pharmacies (was never communicated to me at ALL in the process). I was pissed and stopped engaging. I thought I was going to lose my job right around this time as well, so paused the entire process because I was scared I wouldn't have my insurance.
That all being said - does anyone have any recommendations for clinics you had good experiences with? I have Cigna for insurance and as far as I know, it only covers 1 of the 5 required medications to be administered prior to retrieval. Appreciate your help SO much!
I’ve been paying $350 every time I get a partial for two years, and I’m not super happy with the work. My friend who owns a salon in seattle says $180-$200 is what she would charge and what I’m currently paying is super expensive.
Any more affordable/good quality highlighters y’all can recommend?
Thanks in advance for any recs!
Hi all! Looking for OBGYN recommendations in the Denver Metro area. I’m Centennial immediate area but anywhere is okay for a good doc. BCBS insurance. (If you happen to know they accept them) and especially if anyone has positive or negative views from the POV of a 35+ year old receiving care. I’m 35, with one prior healthy pregnancy and then an ectopic.
In search for the right hairstylist? Sara at The Vine Salon Suite is welcoming, talented and offers a range of services. It’s located in Englewood right off broadway.
Hey ladies, if you're looking for a personal trainer in the RiNo area, I highly recommend George Bristow at Platform Fitness. I'm going to be honest, he's my bf, BUT I wouldn't recommend him if I did't truly think he does amazing work. He isn't even MY personal trainer (separation from church and state) but I know and see all his clients reach all their goals and make amazing transformations. He will not only work with you on exercise but also lifestyle and nutrition. He cares about the whole picture and what's realistic for you. He is also weirdly really good friends with all his clients - which I think further proves how much he cares about each person he takes on. If your coming back from injury, he's got you covered too. He's a rugby player, rides a motorcycle, a woodworker and looks like you'd expect, but please don't be discouraged! He is far from the typical gym bro that only cares about the gains. He has a real personality and can take a joke at his expense.... and will always want to play a Creed playlist....
I know I'm being THAT girlfriend but, for real, I highly recommend him if you're looking to start working out, get back into working out, or want to push/hit a goal. You can check out his website and reach out here: https://www.bristowbuilt.com/
From a lady to the ladies, I take recommendations from others like me very seriously. I won't lead you astray!
Low Cost Dental Cleaning
Hello! My name is Ty and I am currently in Dental Hygiene school at Concorde in Aurora. I am in desperate need for patients! It is $40 for adults and $20 for children, and that includes x-rays, dental exam by our Dentist, a cleaning from me, oral cancer screening, and a 6 month re-eval. What you pay for really, is your time. Because I am a student and it is a school, appointments will be longer and will most likely be 2 visits before finishing you up. Please message me if you're interested, it would be a huge help! Thank you!
