Does anyone know why I turn right in my car all the ABS and dashboard lights on and goes into limp mode. I have no idea why it does this it only does it when I turn right with the steering wheel?

Does anyone else's Gen1 seem to get blown around in really windy weather? I know the car's fairly light so it's to be expected, but it feels like it's worse this year unless I'm just being paranoid.

My car has lifter tick, Some of my rocker arms are loose (can move with fingers) and some are more tight on the intake side. Is there a way to tighten them, or is it where you have to get brand new oem lifters, and that will fix my lifter tick. Right now i dont want to take out my camshaft, to see more of the rocker arms as I dont know the torque spec yet.

Hey it’s me again with the pretty red Cruze! Today, her AC stopped working… I bought Freon but it didn’t help unfortunately. It is still blowing but it’s not getting cold at all. Thermostat was replaced earlier this week and it is good on antifreeze. Also looked at the fuses and they’re all okay. Any ideas? I’m thinking compressor or cabin air filter.

the speakers in driver and passenger door just stopped working. they were replaced a couple years back & haven’t shown signs that they’re bad.

I’m thinking it’s a fuse issue, could I be wrong? However, where and which fuse(s) would need to be replaced? Thanks in advance.

So I just got a 2016 cruze yesterday and had no clue about the gen 1 and 2 thing on the 2016s. There’s no issues about the car itself, just some questions about the screen and entertainment system. The first thing that is annoying me the most is whenever I turn the car on it goes straight to the radio instead of the Home Screen that I customized to only have like Bluetooth and auxiliary and a few others because I’m literally never going to use the radio or XM. Feels like I’ve gone through every setting and it goes to radio first no matter what, is that just the way it is or is there some way to make it start at the Home Screen instead of pulling up the radio until I hit home and then Bluetooth? Seems like a small issue but it’s irking my ODD. Second, there’s a screen in the settings with my software versions and an update button, is that worth looking into and if so where would I even find those files or am I most likely on the latest firmware for it being the gen 1? Lastly, in the future I do want to upgrade to one of the large android screens where you can get apps but i can only find a few options and they all seem sketchy. Optimally I’d like to find a way to install one of those that work good and don’t have a super old android version that’s not sketchy and have a way to switch from android apps to Carplay on the same screen, if that’s even possible. Sorry this is so long winded but Im young and definitely not a car guy and don’t want to mess anything up trying to do anything myself but also don’t really trust an audio store to not mess up anything or not understand what I’m trying to do. If anyone can answer these I’d really really appreciate it.

Oil pressure low stop engine, when engine is running and car is not stopped the message goes aways, but it go back to the dashboard when car is completely stopped

I've recently been struggling with my 2016 cruze LT carryover model from 2015. I've been having a permanent issue with the radio and internal sound system, what I mean by this is that the middle console is completely dead, there is no internal blinker noise and no internal noise to warn that the keys are still in the ignition.

I have checked the fuses, I have changed the grounding wire on the battery and even tried to get some codes, having no luck, with my personal code reader and diagnostic tool. Just this morning I turned the car on and everything worked! About 5 seconds later I heard a noise deep into the front dashboard that sounded like the last few squirts from a Keurig and BOOM! Everything was dead again.

Wondering if anyone has any clue where this issue could be happening or what may cause this to occur. Any help is greatly appreciated

I have a 2013 gen 1 Chevy Cruze with a coolant leak that appears to be coming from where lower hose attaches to the reservoir.

Is it necessary to bleed the cooling system after replacing the reservoir? My plan was just to remove the remaining coolant with a turkey baster, install the new reservoir, and then follow the procedure in the manual for adding coolant (letting the engine run with the cap off, waiting until the upper radiator hose can be felt getting hot, looking out for the engine cooling fan, monitoring the coolant level and adding more if necessary).

I don’t have a level surface to work on my car (gravel driveway) and most of the tutorials I’ve seen on YouTube for replacing the reservoir involve draining the coolant and bleeding the system.

Sometimes when I turn my car on it rumbles and these lights all flash on. I just turn my car on and off and it goes away,,, does this have to do with my head gaskets at all,,,

I have found setting the cruze control to 57 my mileage is steadily increasing as well as my average speed. Pretty much staying on the local expressways and staying in the slow lane. @57 I don't have to brake at all blending traffic doesn't have to floor their gas pedal

So as I was driving my car overheated and i gave my car time to cool off, drove to my uncles who is a mechanic and had him check it out (my pappy was driving behind me cause it wasn’t a far drive) my uncle said my water pump broke and my coolant was leaking out of it, I have a 2013 ls model and I don’t know which is the best I should get so any recommendations?

Is there a performance tyre for the Cruze?

My partner and I are trying to find him a new car, we found a 2018 Chevy Cruze in pretty good shape. When we brought it to the shop the reservoir was empty and the radiator low. When the dealer heard that they panicked and we had an external test as well as internal pressure test done, both passed with no issues, no leaks found. They said besides that the car seems in good shape but they weren't comfortable with the fact that the coolant was so low. The mechanic found no signs of an external leak either from what I understand, no residue etc. Where would this most likely be leaking from and what are the possibilities? Should we stay away from Cruzes? The oil was clean as well, typical darkening nothing milky or black.

I just found this port(i think it’s a USB) but it doesn’t do anything, it also has a short wire so it doesn’t really go anywhere. Does anyone know what it’s supposed to do or where it go? cause it doesn’t work either

so i got a threaded bolt and it’s the bolt to put the pin to take out the timing chain and im replacing my head gasket by myself do you guys think i have enough space to make another hole or do i have to weld a nut?
