Episode title- You're Gonna Get It Title card- Welcome to Cougar Town
Hello everyone! I hope your week is off to a great start. Who is ready to put their hand on their heart and pledge allegiance? Let's jump in to explore this episode.
The gang cheers to Bobby, who is doing his first golf tournament in years. Jules wants to help do charity.
Laurie tweets to her "army of Jelly Beans".
Grayson has a new trivia game at the pub. It is discovered that Bobby left his lucky visor when he had lunch there.
Jules name drops "Richard Stands" 😂 and Laurie thinks John Hancock is a sex act.
Bobby's streak of bad luck continues as he can't get out of the bag hes squeezed himself into. Travis arrives to witness the spectacle.
Jules does Laurie's charity with her, and has taken over. She leads the kids in the pledge of allegiance. Or, what she thinks is the pledge of allegiance. When she says Richard Stands, she has given us one of the all time greats in Cougar Town history.
Back in Jules' kitchen, Laurie and Ellie comfort Jules. Grayson says "Attaboy, Richard", when Jules declares that she wont be bothered by the incident anymore.
Switching over to the tournament, Andy has water stuck in his ear. He credits this to the hotel pool- Trav says it had a dead seagull in it.

Word about what happened in school has gotten back to Barb.
Bobby hits his competitor's ball. Laurie tells everyone Wrong balls is trending.
Jules, Travis and a newly water-free Andy go around the plaza to buy all the Bobby merch to spare his feelings.
Laurie defeats Ellie and Grayson in trivia. It's revealed she's been cheating.
Jules heads back to the school to do "the real pledge". Turns out, she still does not know the whole thing.
What are your thoughts on this episode? Would you wear a Wrong Balls shirt? Any stories from Trivia you would like to share?
I feel like they would have a lot of on-screen chemistry with Christa channeling Ellie/Jordan, and Aubrey doing her April/Rio thing.
This week's episode of Shrinking on Apple TV saw Josh Hopkins (Greyson) guest star as an old lover of Liz (Christa Miller). Fun to see these actors together again, if only for a few moments, and even though she made no references to his tiny eyes.
His existence seems to really bother Liz's husband, so I'm guessing there are more guest appearances in the future....
Greyson and Ellie, together again....

The episode begins in Jules' kitchen, as they often do. Hey sexy! (Self esteem test, Reddit. Who answered?)
Jules tells everyone she's a morning person. She wakes up asking questions like, "What's an aardvark?" Ellie is summoned by her nanny, Rosa.
Jules and Ellie hang out at Ellie's. Jules shares her new phrase "pound grape". Ellie explains how much time she spends with Stan. They talk about whether it's harder to be a mother with a baby in your 20s or your 40s.
In the pub, Laurie tells the guys she misses one night stands, and Andy decides to be her wingman. Bobby and Grayson talk golf. If Bobby is up early enough, he can get on the green for free.
The next day is an early start for Grayson. He's off to wait for Bobby to take him to golf. Ellie gets up early when the baby monitor goes off. Jules wakes early and asks Grayson questions. Laurie wakes up swinging. Travis wakes up embracing a laundry hamper.
Golf cart meet water.
Ellie and Jules bet on whether Jules can look after Stan for a night. Bippity Boppity Boo, Stan is in Jules' arms, Laurie is leaving, Grayson is sneaking out.
Rosa gives Jules instructions, and calls Grayson to leave work. Grayson helps with Stan. Grayson builds Stan his own Alcatraz (totally not a prison though) 😛
Andy and Laurie go to the wine bar. Apparently once a month the plaza converts to a club. Laurie doesn't enjoy it as much as she expects to.
Bobby has a new system to get up in the morning. Travis offers to wake Bobby up. Bobby refuses.
Stan locks himself into the pantry. There's a lot of panic. Is Stan OK? Is the wine OK? Ellie comes over with some goldfish crackers to bribe Stan.
Laurie meets a guy and they head to his house. He takes Andy's coffee. "Paid $3.75!"
Grayson and Jules have survived the night. Travis shows up anyway to help his dad wake up. Laurie does the walk of shame, with pride.
Jules tells Ellie she doesn't want any more babies. Andy and Grayson play with Stan. Grayson tells Andy he can't wait to have a kid.
Travis and Bobby both fall asleep on the golf cart. They drive into the sandpit.
The end, for another week!
Thanks for joining folks. Anyone have any anecdotes to share. Ever fallen asleep in a golf cart? Had a baby in your 40s? Mistook red wine for blood? Let everyone know!
I would love to know your thoughts on the episode. Let's talk.
I decided today (after trying to take a Reese's away from my 2 year old) that whoever decided that "it's like taking candy from a baby" implies something is easy... Has never tried to take candy away from a baby. I think this phrase should now mean "something that has swift and sharp consequences." Cougar Town happens to be on in the background so this was my perfect opportunity to say CHANGE APPROVED!! . What other common phrases are we changing ? Or what's your favorite from the show?
Welcome back for another week! I hope everyone is going well in their part of the world. Before we go into it, I just want to thank everyone again for being a part of this community. I'm having so much fun lately. Make sure you check out some of the other recent threads, there's been lots of cool discussions. Grab your imaginary hat and set down for the night (or day) and watch some Cougar Town!

And that's the end of another episode! Let's chat in the comments. What did you all think?
Am I the only one who finds Ellie and Daniel completely out of character? Despite Ellie's coldness, what shows up all the time is how much she actually loves Andy. Examples: the ep when she tells him the second he walks in the door she relaxes; the ep when she tells him even though she hates Valentine's day she expects him to give her what she says she doesn't want; the ep when he tells her the wrong names of people, etc. Ellie is portrayed as cold, but having soft spots - softest spots being for Jules and Andy. Ergo, I found the Daniel thing so out of character for her, and also for the show. Its like they wanted David to be in an ep and decided on the worst option lol
