I have no idea how to make my hair longer! It's already mid back for me but I'd like it longer and fuller for this Circe cosplay I'm doing. Any advice?

I love the classic Superman design, but moreso the All-Star look rather than the Reeves version. Brandon Rouths costume from Superman returns has a really nice shade of red and an amazing symbol. Mix that with Cavills shade of blue and slap it on some spandex… all you’d add now is the boot and belt design from Corensweat.

Thoughts?

Hey yall I'm trying to create a face mask that doesn't have to be tied to my face but instead look like it's just attached to my face. I'm looking into silicone adhesives (like those used for pasties and stick on bras) but I'm running into the problem that either they aren't reusable or they're just the silicone gripper bands that aren't actually adhesive. What I'm looking for are like sheets of the silicone adhesive that I can reuse and don't lose their stickiness. Exactly like the pasties but sheets and reusable. Sorry if this is confusing lol anything helps. Thanks!

So, I don't really cosplay, but I am a competitive pole dancer. I want to build an Arcane Jinx themed pole routine for a competition i have in March and I know it's going to take a lot of work.

First and foremost, Im gonna need to get comfortable doing pole with a wig on. It likely won't be as long as actual Jinx because I worry that would be a safety hazard. My biggest concern is how to keep it secure while doing dynamic tricks like flips and moves that require me to be upside down. Any tips or suggestions would be helpful!

Hello, any ideas how I can attach the head ornaments on the wig? Happy to glue it but I'm afraid that the section between the ornaments (pink in picture) can get messy/tangled and I won't be able to fix it if they are glued.

Also on the picture it seems like there is space between the "crown" and hair so I'm not sure how good it will look if it's glued right on top of the wig

Hi, I recently bought a Mehron lace moustache. Its too deep for my upper lip so I need to trim the lace backing, but I don’t want to ruin it. Has anyone any tips on trimming a lace moustache? Is it better to trim lace from the top or bottom of the ‘tache?

I dont know if this counts as make up but i made fake dangs using fake nasil and i got teeth prosthesis adhesive cream , but whatever i do its not sticking to my teeth, it is sticking to my gums however. And i believe i had made a mistake. Am i using this wrong or does this thing only sticks to gums? How can i put on these fangs 😭

My only cosplay has been Princess Peach and I’ve cosplayed her twice and this always happens, this part of the wig (see photo) is like a “bump” (? And I don’t know how to bring it closer to my face/stick it to the side of my face, could anyone give me some tips?

I cosplay Arcane Jinx.

Got the fit from Amazon and it’s mostly great, but the pants are so big on me and not stretchy at all. They seem to be made out of that cheap, silky, Halloween costume material.

I’ve figured out most Jinx cosplayers who have the form fitting pants are sewing them themselves. I don’t have access to the tools for that, nor do I have the time or talent.

Is there anywhere I can go to have someone make them for me? My small town has alteration shops but I don’t think they would make pants entirely from scratch, right?

TLDR; where can I go to have someone make me custom Jinx pants?

I'm not sure what's the best way to go about styling them. I was thinking about painting them with the same acrylics that I will be using the for EVA foam gauntlets and helmet.
Another idea I have is first covering them with this leather imitating upholstery and then painting part of them blue and silver. However I'm not sure if acrylics would look good on this kind of material.

Patti Lupone’s/Lilia’s tarot-inspired outfit really inspired me to take back up sewing. I’ve been looking into fabric to purchase to recreate this jacket. Therefore, spent 2 hours walking through a speciality fabric store and could not find anything that was quite right. I will need to do a great deal of embroidery for the details but I’m at a loss of where to start for just fabric. I went through clothing fabrics and even the upholstery section.

Question being: is anyone able to point me in the right direction? The type of fabric or have leads on where to find it for purchase? I’m in Atlanta, if it matters!

Bought the 2b Nier Boots from dokidoki and the shoe itself fit perfectly but the calf is HUGE. I'm confident in my sewing skills but not in faux leather and would love some tips on what type of stitch would hold better?
