Where's a good place to get hot (spicy) wings in the tri-cities?
We've been going to Church's chicken for their spicy buck-a-wings but have always gotten sick afterwards lately.
We're looking for a place to get like 50 at a time for a movies night.
Any tips appreciated! Thank you🥹🙏🏼
Long story short, my wife’s pregnant, and the baby is expected to be born in March 2025. I'm moving to a bigger place and terminating my one-year lease early.
I tried posting ads on Facebook groups for rental, but there seem to be so many scam posts there. Any recommendations on where to post? 🙇🏻♂️
What do people think is the fastest growing / future neighbhoorhood in the next 10-15 years?
PoCo, Maple Ridge? I know they technically aren't "Coquitlam" but mean anything in the region
Most of the roads are locked. Traffic everywhere. Don’t place any takeout orders (restaurants cannot see your order).
I’d give it a couple of hours. Crews are not assigned to some areas.
Got here at 11 took 90 mins to get to the actual dump, 2 mins to unload
Back in line to pay now, I estimate at least another hour to pay. Avoid if you can
Edit: pulling up now to pay, took about 30 mins
Couple people tried to budge. Luckily the attendant stopped that. Appreciate them
How reliable is Uber from the Tricities to the airport? Do they show up? How much have you pair one way? Thx!
Hi I'm new to the town and searching for gyms in the Maillardville area.
I heard about Poirier sports complex but saw some reviews that they do not repair broken gym equipments.
Want to hear from actual users!
Listen. I have very few pleasures in life and my McDonalds mochas are one of them. 2 weekends ago they say they can't serve any McCafe drinks. 5 days later they still can't.
I asked the girl if their machine is broken or if they're fine forever and she said she doesn't know.
Tomorrow I need to be somewhere on time and don't want to stop there if they're just going to tell me they don't have them again. So I'm hoping someone has gone recently and knows?
Thanks!!
I run a small painting company with 8 years of experience in the this line of work. Its little slow looking for some work to fill the dates.
Hi - I lost a pair of blue ladies' glasses on a walk in Mundy Park at about 12n today (Dec 9).
I parked in the Chilko parking lot then walked to the fenced dog park, then around to the off-leash area.
Of you happen to find them can you PM me please?
Hi everyone!
If you've had your flooring done in the last few years and were happy with the work, I'd love some recommendations! I'll be calling for quotes, but would also love to know what you paid.
I'm currently in a 900sf condo in Coquitlam need updates to meet sound mitigation requirements, and looking for waterproofing flooring with new baseboards installed.
Thank you in advance!
So before I found out I’m pregnant I was doing hot yoga regularly and I loved it, but now, especially in my first trimester, I found out that anything hot is not recommended. In fact, my yoga studio prohibits pregnant women to enter the studio because of the infrared heat. Now I’m looking at safe alternatives but can’t find any classes that are 1. Not virtual (I wanna get out of the house) 2. Not ridiculously expensive 3. Not too far ( Driving to Vancouver downtown is a pain) I live in Burquitlam but I’m fine driving to Burnaby or PoCo or New West.
Looking to redo concrete stairs to the basement with a drain grate at the bottom and also rebuild a 1.5 ft high by 20 ft long retaining wall in concrete.
Any contractor suggestions?
Also will need a 20 x 30 ft patio area done in pavers.
Again, suggestions?
Hey everyone, I recently moved to Coquitlam and am looking for any table tennis clubs I can join for short games :)
Thanks in advance.
Anyone noticed the lights in the sky? I first saw these a week ago on Austin street around 8:30pm. Then I've been seeing 2 or 3 groups of lights in the sky at around 2:00 am when I got up for toilet. Then I noticed that now I am always seeing these lights in the sky everyday around 4pm, 6pm, 11pm, 3am and etc. Anyone know anything about this? I thought drones are illegal around residential areas? I usually see these around the Mundy park area.
Hello,
I posted this in r/VancouverJobs but I wanted to try here, too.
I am 17 (turning 18 in a couple months) in grade 12, and I'm interested in a position at a pharmacy or a doctor's office. I'd prefer it to be a paid job, but I'm okay with a volunteering position as well. I have been volunteering for Fraser Health at one of their hospitals for more than 200hrs since I was 16, and I would like to gain some experience in a clinical environment to compliment my experience in a hospital environment.
My plan is to visit local pharmacies and doctor's offices and ask if they had any open volunteering or paid positions (two of my friends began volunteering at pharmacies and eventually got a paid job), but I figured I would ask Reddit as well to see if you guys had any tips or suggestions for me.
Because I have no pharmaceutical experience, I'm assuming the only positions I'll be eligible for are low-experience like being a secretary, doing data entry, counting pills, or working a cashier. I have retail experience having worked at a clothing store in the mall for about 6mo.
I'd prefer options local to the Tri-Cities, but I'm open to commuting as well.
Thank you all!
I'm looking for recommendations on reliable businesses where I can purchase and have installed a remote starter for my 2008 RAV4. I'm in Port Coquitlam so anywhere in the Tri-Cities would be great.
Anyone have any fantastic experiences with local businesses they want to share?
I recently bought an e-scooter for convenience. I don't own a car and having to take multiple buses to get where I want is a hassle. So buying an e-scooter sounded like a good idea.
I'm just wondering, is it okay for me to take it on the bus or skytrain for longer routes? (Or maybe if my battery dies) I've seen people take their bikes before but I'm not sure about scooters, I'm assuming the same thing applies here. I already checked the website for any rules regarding that but I don't seem to find any.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, I don't want to be the person that doesn't follow rules and just annoys people nonstop.
My child is 15 months old and I am planning to put him in a day care. Can anyone please recommend a good day care center in Burquitlam, Austin heights area?
Can you park at the mall parking overnight or will you be ticketed/towed
I went over there just now 10pm to get some bread and there was people in hazmat like outfits cleaning stuff the pl
