I hope people open their eyes soon and see what is happening to our city and the ones that we pay to run it. Don’t forget who had his hands in this mess. Our almighty leader him self.
Hi, anyone go to Bettie Allard YMCA gym? How busy is it between 5 to 7. How about the pool? Anyone can compare YMCA gym to anytime fitness?
I just moved to Coquitlam. I used to go to fitness world in Vancouver and it is crazy during rush hour.
Would anyone please recommend a pho place with good shrimp salad rolls?
I've tried a few places downtown and they're so stingy with the shrimp lol
I want them rolls thick🤣
So far in Coquitlam, I only tried Pho Capital in Coquitlam, which was not worth it, as the rice paper was dry and stuffed with 95% rice noodles, and 2% shrimp 😞
Hi! I’m looking for a secret Santa gift. With the Canada post strike I was hoping to buy something in a store. Does anyone know anywhere in the Coquitlam or tricity area that sells cocktail bombs or something similar?
Thanks!
I’m looking to get the shafts of a pair of boots narrowed and I’m wondering if anyone has any cobblers they recommend. Thanks!
I'm looking for the best pool locally to swim laps and then relax in the sauna afterwards. Poirier? Hyde creek? Give me your best suggestions!
Much like bringing in a computer to get it fixed, are there places I can bring a 3D printer in to get it fixed? (Filament Printer) I just don't have the tools and patients to fix it. (I enjoy resin printing way more)
Thanks.
anyone wish it will just snow lots. I love the christmas spirit snow gives and I like shoveling snow. But all it does is rain here...
Hello people. Does anyone know of a good place for massage that accepts extended benefits(Green shield)? It will be my first time using them. Thanks
I'm looking to put my 4 yo son into little league baseball this coming spring and wanted to hear people's thoughts on the 2 leagues that are available, Coquitlam Little League, and Tri City Thunder. Would love to hear how your experience has been as I'm trying to decide between the 2. Thanks in advance!
Asking for your recommendation for any nonprofit financial advisor and debt management services in this area.
Ive been hearing about it for years but asides from some bad concept art ive never seen any plans or timelines for anything
Anyone know if this event at Henderson Mall will include photos with Santa? https://www.instagram.com/hendersonplacemall/p/DBw22fzTqqI/
I think someone mentioned there was a Santa last year, but the instagram post doesn't mention it.
Hi!
I recently became interested in TMJ botox but the technician I visited instantly recommended 100 units (50 ea on both side) without really examining my muscles, etc.
I mostly want it to stop my jaw clenching which radiates pain to my head and neck, so I'm looking for someone who leans more on the medical side. However, I obviously would like some benefit (jaw slimming) if I can also get that.
If anyone has any experience with a doctor or a technician more conservative approach, I would much appreciate the recommendation! Thanks :)
Best in town part 2!! Share your best dim sum spots in town!!
I like Yan's Garden in Lougheed for their cart dim sum, I haven't really found anywhere else that serves good cart dim sum yet. I would love to hear some of your favorite spots!! Please include their hours for having the carts out (if they have it) as most places seem to stop in the afternoon. I just like the carts because it's a lot easier to order when I get to see what my options are :)
EDIT: Didn't realize Yan's is actually Burnaby, but I guess it's just on the border. Let's hear some coquitlam spots!! or better spots that are close by maybe
Hi all! Hoping someone might be able to help me out. I'm looking for a warf/dock that is assessable to public to take some pictures on. Does anyone know any good spots?
Let's see your opinions, please include your reasoning and some recommended menu items from there!
I'll start: My personal favorite is GoGo Chicken, mainly because it's not a big franchise with the same flavors and it's a family run business, the people there are my favorite Koreans in town lol. Always so nice and welcoming, I feel like the customer service has really gone downhill with a lot of restaurants lately but this one always consistently good.
The Angry chicken rice bowl and gogo fries are my favs, them sauces are just sooo good and I've yet to find similar tasting sauces anywhere else. I'll sometimes splurge on a whole fried chicken with the bones when I have people over but the rice bowl is super filling when I'm eating by myself.
Hello all, As someone who has lived near the river their whole life, fishing it, hiking it, cleaning garbage out of it, etc, I wish it had a better hatchery program. (Not dismissing the current program, they do the best they can with what they got). But imagine what the salmon runs /fishing could be like if the river got the same hatchery love as the vedder or capilano. It would be good for the river. Good for the surrounding ecosystems. And good for the local fishing economy as well. :) Is it just money that is the limiting factor or politics or are there other factors as play? (They've improved the quary runoff situation a lot over the last two decades for example).
Cheers
does anyone know of any place that carries GOOD quality chestnuts in the Tri Cities area??
i’m having a hard time finding chestnuts let alone good quality ones!! pls!! you’d be a life saver :)
My neighbour continually picks weeds from their yard/property or plants/weeds from my yard and property and will then throw them on my yard.
My cameras have caught them doing this on multiple occasions, even shoveling snow from their yard onto ours, collecting leaves and throwing those onto our yard and it’s really starting to drive me crazy. It’s just disrespectful.
Wondering if anyone’s dealt with anything like this or has any advice. Not sure talking to them will help but is there a bylaw or something that might address this? Thanks!
Is everyone OK there? The tree was huge and the house is in rough shape. Hopefully nobody was upstairs when it happened.

I am searching for a charity organization that will foster animals while someone is in inpatient care. I am an Addictions Counselor and one of the barriers to inpatient care I have come across for my clients is that they have no place for their animals to stay while they seek treatment. Many of them are low income and have little to no family or social supports so their pets are their only family and mean so much to them.
I have reached out to Paws for Hope but they appear to be full and not taking animals at this time. I see that the BC SPCA has a similar program but I cannot see how to access it. They have lots of links for becoming a fosterer but not how to access the service when in need.
Does anyone have any other options or know how to access the BC SPCA program?
DM me the description of your case/ make of the phone/ and Screensaver to verify owner.
BTW, it was out in the rain for quite a awhile, I tried to dry it out and fix your phone as best as possible without potentially voiding your warranty. ( as well as having it on so you could try calling it.)
While I've fixed your USB port, your screen may be knackered. Hopefully your provider can help you out.
Is it frown upon to give only 10% nowadays?
