I have been going to Conway Animal Clinic (the best by the way) for 6 years, they no longer have dog grooming available. I have 3 dogs; a black lab, an Australian Kelpie and a Golden Retriever. Would really really likea mobile groomer as I have a hectic schedule and it's hard to break away but as long as it's in conway that's fine.

I need someone to come and check air quality in my house and check it for mold! We bought one of those home kits from home Depot.. and came back with mold.

Hey, I just want to say my dad fell down and hurt himself in Greenbriar.

His name is Eddie Osborne. He has gray/red short hair, a prominent mustache, and I’d guess he’s about 5’8’’. He’s about 60 years old.

He lives alone, his neighbor found him on the sidewalk and called 911. The ambulance took him away, according to the VA they took him to Conway regional Tuesday and he was discharged—but Conway regional won’t tell me when.

He doesn’t have a jacket, his wallet, or his phone.

I guess he just walked out when they discharged him. He’s probably somewhere in the area. He can’t make it very far with literally nothing and it’s been cold as fuck and I’m worried,

If any of you see him, he’s nice, just approach him and let him know I’m looking for him. If you see him message me and tell him to get to the Walmart or something and hang out for a minute, then message me and I’ll give you my number.

I just hope he’s okay

Edit: his ex girlfriend reported him missing. I don’t know much else, I believe she may have a recent picture.

I can’t believe I came here and got picked on by some of the members of this community during what is a difficult time for me. Because I’m basically doing this by myself. And it’s terrible to think there are people in your community that are just shit people. But he’ll learn.

Howdy neighbors. This is the third time our main line has backed up and we are thinking it’s a city issue. Is anyone else living around Donaghey by corner pantry having issues with their plumbing backing up? The first two times we managed to catch it but this time it flooded half of our house, including getting into all three bedrooms 😭😭

How do we go about figuring out if it’s a city thing? Do we contact Conway corp? City hall?

We aren’t requesting plummers at this time so please don’t offer recommendations, we have a home warranty and we also know someone we may use if we don’t go the home warranty route. The point of this post is to see if others are dealing with similar things, and if anyone knows how to go about bringing this to the city’s attention 😭 thank you for reading!

How much does it cost to take a large flat screen to the city landfill/solid waste disposal site and what are their hours Fri and Sat this week?

This is the property between Shadrach's and the walking trail. Back in May we saw concerns raised about this property in this subreddit. The city council approved the permit at the latest city council meeting at about 56:39.

The developer of the property plans to establish a new location for a restaurant called Rotolo's, which is a higher end pizzeria chain what would serve alcohol. Currently the closest existing location is in Memphis and there are no locations in Arkansas.

The city council was primarily concerned about the possibility of this lot becoming a drive-through business and impacting traffic on Prince St. A representative for the property developer reassured the council that the site plan does not have a drive-through currently, and amending the site plan to include a drive-through would be a major change and would require approval from the city council. After this reassurance, the city approved the permit.

The council approved operating hours from 7am to 10pm but the restaurant only plans to be open from 11am to 10pm for the time being.

I found the proposed site plan from the notes of the November 18 Planning Commission meeting where the planning commission recommended approval by the city council.

I have fond memories of Christmas caroling as a kid, but it’s not something that I’ve seen since I moved here. Do I just live in the wrong part of town, or does it not happen here?

Went to A1 on Oak earlier and I had asked for a diagnosis. Left it with the employee and when I came back and they said that a Samsung screen would cost upwards of 300$ to replace I simply said I couldn't afford it and was on my way. The employee then said without skipping a beat "Well, maybe once you figure out how to manage your financial situation you can fix it." And I was a bit taken back by this. I didn't cause a fuss and just left the store but damn, that really hurt and it seemed really unprofessional. Am I overreacting or was this uncalled for? Definitely won't be going back either way.

There is a person that is going around Conway and little rock businesses harassing workers. He records everything wearing glasses with a camera built-in. He usually goes in with a picture of some sort and asks obscure questions. He is trying to insight people to get upset so he can crop videos to make them look bad. He doesn't tell anyone he is recording and records only inside private businesses.

He is in his 20s, white, and a thin build. Please be careful.

Someone stole my retroid pocket 2S out of my bag at Walmart. I was sitting waiting on the bus, very upset because the first bus left me and I just wanted to go home. When I looked up I noticed a guy who was sitting on the other bench quickly move away. Noticed it was gone. Find my device can't located it because it's not connected to WiFi currently which means it's not in my apartment. I don't know what you think you're going to do with it, I bet you don't even know what it is. It's easily recognizable by the fox sticker on the back.

Not quite sure what this will accomplish posting this, but why is it so difficult to make friends as a millennial (M28, wife 31)? I watched my parents grow up with a ton of friends everywhere. I had a lot in high school and immediately after but something changed (Yes life happens that’s not what I mean). It hasn’t been for a lack of trying, at least on my end. I don’t know something just always seems to be missing. Yes, I’m a little introverted, but I go to the gym. I’ve gone to events but people just don’t seem to match my vibe. If anyone has ever heard of, you have two kinds of friends, 3 AM friend and a 6 PM friend, I have always been the 3 AM friend. It’s hard to find people that are the same that aren’t into drama or anything that could complicate a friendship. My wife and I are gamers, but love to fish, we are full on nerds with DND, anime all of it, but we’ll still go to a rodeo or monster jam.
But at the end of the day, going to events with someone can be great and a lot of fun but if you’re ever going through something or you just want somebody over for dinner to have a beer, no one seems to show up. This goes for both myself and my wife.
