Humanity’s Podcast.
New episodes every Monday!
Bonus episodes some Thursdays!
Join host Scott Aukerman (“Comedy Bang! Bang!” on IFC, “Mr. Show”) for a weekly podcast that blends conversation and character work from today’s funniest comedians. While Scott begins by traditionally interviewing the celebrities, the open-door policy means an assortment of eccentric oddballs can pop by at any moment to chat, compete in games, and engage in comic revelry. With all that, and regular bonus episodes, we bet your favorite part will still be the plugs!

For me it’s ”take shoes off” from the Nick Frost and Simon Pegg ep or the ”kong skull island” chant from Spontaneanation
Come on, Cool Cat. You gotta get Queen into the HOF before they’re forgotten about!
I've listened to every episode and live show of CBB. This episode was pure magic. Instant classic. Every performer at their absolute best.
I listen to other comedy shows and other popular casts of all types and 90% of them seem like hacks.
Even some of the comedy crime podcasts are just insufferable to me. Maybe it's because they all seem so host centric and canned laughter or something?
Am I just over 50 or does anyone else feel this way?
His character had the same attitude as any of his characters that argue the music man lol
Heynong man!
I had a busy 2024 so wasn’t able to keep up with CBB as usual. I remember the occasional flurry of posts discussing the Music Man, now I’ve seen they did a watchalong!
My question is: What’s with this Music Man discourse!? Should I catch up on the pod before the watchalong? It seems to stretch across multiple eps! Fortifying the already rich CBB canon. I would be eternally grateful if someone told me which eps to listen to first :)
I love a watchalong so can’t wait to consume this via my ear holes AND eye holes. Gotta goooo
I will swear to never share said information once it is provided and willingly face whatever penalty the CBB overlords deem worthy. Thank you.
Ok this Springsteen song has been stuck in my head all day. I’m pretty sure it was discussed in an ep for either The River or Nebraska. The Scotts specifically discuss a slower version and a faster version of the song and play the beginnings back to back, the faster version is the one they like more. In my memory the intro begins very similarly to Bobby Jean (from Born in the USA LP) but the 3rd and 4th bars of the intro go into a higher key.
Plz let me know which ep or song i’m thinking of, it’s driving me crazy 🙏 ive skipped around the episodes all day but can’t find the timestamp
You guys just curious about everybody’s stories ..who told you about it?? how’d you guys discover it ??was it the show ccb on ifc, ? the podcast ? did it take a while for you to get hooked?
For me, I remember I was hooked on spill.com a movie review site, back in 2009-2013 They have podcast and YouTube videos very funny content right now they’re called double toasted with the main host Kory anyway as they were getting bought out by this corporation the show started to lose its sizzle basically. And then I stumbled on to the list on podcast and was trying to start a podcast out back in 2012. And that’s when I stumbled upon the best ofs 2012 I recognize Paul f voice , I remember he used to do a show on VH1 around that era in the 2000s Scott was just so unhinged in his comedy. He was just so unique anytime he stumbles it’s just the most hilarious thing and they just keep going on with it ever since that I’ve been hooked and even listening to the old episodes back when they had the comedy death ray . Any way I wanna hear your stories how did you guys get into this?
TAKING A PLANE BREAK !!!

That is all
I think it's something from the new season.
Has he said anything bad about the post office yet? Found out what a landing page is? I'm so out of the loop ☹️
