Comedian extraordinaire Todd Glass joins Scott to talk about his new stage show “The Event of a Lifetime,” how he is using Seed & Spark to fund a run in New York, and the history of stand-up comedy. Then, radio DJ Dominic Weiss stops by to talk about his upcoming live events. Plus, Mike Stacker drops by to talk about the old days he would hang out with Scott.
Love these two especially when they’re together. I’ve listened to all their CBB eps, dead authors pod, Andy Daly podcast pilot project, and bonanas for bonanzas. Can someone give me a recommendation? Thank you! Also how can we get andy daly to bring back his L Ron Hubbard?
I’ve only started listening last fall, and I’m just catching on to the fact that a lot of times, if not every time, that Joan is listing the names of her kids and gets to the twins, she says “Matt and, uh…” and Burnt comes in with the name. Or A name, because it’s different each time? Is this a gag I’m just now picking up on?
Crazy that it’s already been nearly ten years since he died. One of the absolute best to ever do it.
I have the Teachers lounge archive and am coming up to the end of S8. The way it orders the next batch of episodes are
Season 9A Minis Season 9B
It doesn’t look like this is the original release order though, so is it going to make sense listening that way? Or do all of s9 then the minis after? Or go strictly by the dates that are attached?
Stay flippy!

This week, Scott and Sprague watch 1997's not-quite-a-cult comedy-drama CLOCKWATCHERS. Joining them is actor and comedian John Early! Why is he so drawn to this film? How has it fared relative to its 90s peers? Will Scott love it, or wish he could unwatch that clock!?
Next week: Madame Web (2024)
Does anyone know what episode of U Springin’ Springsteen has Scott (but not Scott) tell the story of when Da Boss wanted the drums to sound like a beautiful day at the beach smash cut to a dead body?
I could use a juice genie right about now.
Beebo and Jan chat with guests who both nurture and critique talent this week: theatre reviewer Tyler Daniel McLeod (Andy Daly) and owner of the Spilled Tea Salon Abigail Esslynn (Lennon Parham). Tune in for coffee enemas, empty nesters, rat faces, sour puzzles, scams, and more in this dulcimer of an episode.
