I absolutely loved Hard Nation!! and damn I want to relisten in these dark political times. Is it gone forever? I Deleted the stitcher app ages ago, not even sure if it was still on Stitcher though. Please help. I need to listen to Justin Trudeau smoking a joint through his penis again.
Need help placing this. He’s referenced it multiple times and I feel like he got called out on Threedom because no one got it.
Like if someone said “Oh, it was like hell on Earth”, he’d say “Better hell than XYZ” or something.
I believe it’s OC adjacent because he grew up shitting on said one-horse town.
Nicole, Paul and Brett answer a big ol' bunch o' questions from the CBB World Discord about all things Dignity Falls!
After a heck of a 2025 so far, Scott and Sprague are looking forward to a potentially good movie, the critically acclaimed GODZILLA MINUS ONE. Joining them is film and TV actor, and the official Godzilla Guest, Jack Quaid! Will this film fare better than the 1998 Godzilla? Will Scott agree with the critics, or FLAME THEM?!
Next week: Cool Hand Luke (1967)
Shes right behind me, isnt she?!
Wash your ears out and listen up as Beebo and Jan chat with Professor of stunts, Chin Dollhouse (Paul F. Tompkins), and local soap maker, Danika Lavender (Brittani Nichols), about a raccoon intruder, the truth about publishing, dating as a felon, breastfeeding, and the definition of the word “wonder.” Leave a voicemail for College Town at www.cbbworld.com/callcollegetown and they'll respond on the show!
Lauren, Paul, and Scott discuss finishing dinner, security cameras, and Bigfoot before playing Switch It and Pitch It.
There’s an episode of Big Grande where they are all Mall Santa’s having a meeting, talking about scheduling and parking. And at some point they listen to voicemails left by one of them. It has to be one the of the most side busting funny episodes, but I can’t for the life of me find it again.
I don’t know if it’s a Teachers lounge Episode or a separate show like Exit 42.
I thought it was a mini episode of teachers lounge but for the life of me I can’t find it.
If anyone knows the episode I’m talking about please let me know.
This week the fellas recap the awesome films they saw at the Sundance Film Festival (and then re-read the invite to see that they weren't EXACTLY at Sundance) and later they're joined by Ahab the Whale (Jake Jabbour) who swam over 8000 miles through three oceans for the opportunity to mate with what he thought was an awesome, available, mate... but things didn't go the way he expected. Mark and Bill try to start 2025 off right with a hike and a visit to their local Orange Theory, where they corner Hollywood writer Nick Mandernach to get feedback on their Auntourage pitch.
Fuck SiriusXM, all my homies hate SiriusXM
I am the same age as Scott and I've been curious for some time how younger people feel about listening to a bunch of middle aged guys being very silly and often corny (complimentary) and making a lot of pop culture references from the reagan era. I am curious, do you young'ns enjoy a lot of comedy from "older" people? what kind of 20th century pop culture are you drawn to? How were you exposed to it? How much of what Scott and Paul riff about is lost on you because it's just old timey?
Conversely what are some podcasts hosted by young folks I might not have come across (i.e. not earwolf adjacent) that an old head like me would be interested in.
