Hey there!
We’re a fairly new original metal band based out of East Columbus looking for a drummer to permanently fill the role.
We have two singles currently out, with a couple more planned, as well as a full-length album for 2025.
Our influences include Avenged Sevenfold, Trivium, Metallica, Megadeth, Slipknot, Sex Pistols to name a few.
Our members’ age range is 21 - 27. We’d prefer someone close to that range, but we’re flexible.
Our goal is to continue releasing original material, and once the drummer role has been filled, start gigging consistently. We’d prefer someone who is passionate for music, has their own transportation, has the energy while playing, and can practice at least once a week.
Hope to hear from some of you!
As an example, this is our latest single Abyssal Whispers
After the new year i'd like to rehearse and then perform 'We shall all be healed' and maybe 'Separation Sunday' in their entirety. Play them for tips at a local dive.
If this is your thing....
new to columbus and dying to get into making music. i’ve written several songs but am a beginner to music production (garage band, bandlab…) would love to make friends & hopefully get together to create along with other amateurs. also i sing & play keyboard.

This video is for a techno comp from the Japanese experimental label tokinogake: https://tokinogake.bandcamp.com. Video uses drone footage a friend of ours gave us. For our track we used all hardware- a Roland r8, kawai k3, Yamaha dx11, korg x5d, akai s2000 and a Novation super bass station. Check out more here: https://pinebox.bandcamp.com

If anyone is looking to get into the holiday spirit, The Alliance has a show coming up this Saturday! We are an all voices chorus focused on sharing our music and inclusive fellowship in Central Ohio.
I don’t know if there’s much of a sludge scene here but I’ve been getting into it lately and I’d like to watch some local bands (if they exist).
Thank you guys for all the suggestions, l’ll definitely have to look into them!
I don't know if this is this the right place for this, but im searching for a European metal band that played at Newport a few years ago like 2021. I can't remember the name, but I do know they had a song on the radio at one point. Thanks for your help!
If I had never played in front of everyone and I got the courage to humiliate myself in front of others, where do you think would be the most inviting for an open mic situation? Playing rock music if that matters.
A little documentary that my good friend did for her film class about my band:)
Seeking people to play with between 10:00-13:00ish (somewhere in that window) Tuesdays-Fridays (somewhere in that window).
I'm retired, have kids. Can play after I drop off to school and before I pick them up.
We can talk on Discord, text, whatever before-hand if you want to vibe-check.
I mostly enjoy Rock from the mid-80s to the mid-00s.
I regularly play music from these bands (listed under the decade title in no particular order):
80s:
Metallica
Megadeth
Anthrax
Bon Jovi
Fleetwood Mac (Okay, maybe they're a bit '70s too!)
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
etc.
90s:
Pantera
Nirvana
Alice in Chains
Stone Temple Pilots
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Bush
System of a Down
The Offspring
Green Day
Pearl Jam
Disturbed
No Doubt
etc.
00's:
blink-182
Sum 41
Jimmy Eat World
Foo Fighters
Silversun Pickups
30 Seconds to Mars
Killswitch Engage
etc.
I'm currently challenging myself with several songs from Bullet For My Valentine, Avenged Sevenfold, and Slipknot. They push my limits.
I've never played with a group - I'd love to. I would consider myself an Intermediate drummer. I'm good, but I'm self-taught.
I'm going to be taking lessons next Spring (I want to learn the type of stuff kids learn in Band class at school, or in a marching band). I'll also be investing in microphones and cameras, I want to be able to record and listen back and to be able to put some samples on YouTube.

Hi, are there any advanced/expert trumpet players in greater Cbus who would like to join a rock band? All original music. Influences include The Police, Blondie, 80s/90s college rock, etc.
Bonus points if said trumpet player can also sing a little and play simple keyboard lines or aux percussion during songs/parts that don’t necessarily need trumpet.
Sorry to be a wet blanket, but no bigots or zealots.
Thanks for reading!
Ive taken guitar lessons previously a few years ago, I'm looking for a trans friendly teacher and having a hard time finding like any indication of trans friendly places. So my main priority is someone who is trans friendly.
Hey y'all! Newly formed cover band (no name yet, generational rock) looking for a fun, solid drummer.
We have a set list started with the likes of Foo Fighters, John Denver, Johnny Cash, Weezer...to name some influences.
Sunday's have been our go to practice day. We have a nice practice place, with PA & an electric drum set.
We're in our 40's & 50's & have vocals, 3 guitars, & bass. Hope to hear from you!
Hi! I'm looking for a drummer for my weird sasscore-esque band Coffin Makers. We already have an e.p. we just released. If you're into: Blood Brothers Black Dice Some Girls These arms are snakes Heavy Heavy Low Low Daughters (canceled I know but you know what they sound like) Chat Pile Model/Actriz The Jesus Lizard
We practice once to twice a week after 830pm. Looking for a drummer that can play dancy stuff and fast punk blasty stuff. We have a gimmick where the band dresses up as Mormon-esque missionaries and the vocalist is a street corner preacher so participating in the bit is a must. This is a project that plans to play out and do some weekend runs and maybe a few 5-7 day runs a year. Also no racists/bigots/terfs
Below you'll find the e.p. and our contact email! If this sounds like you hit us up!
